AN: Here is chapter 4. I feel like I've been hit with some inspiration lately and I've been in a writing mood lately so you guys benefit from it. This chapter is in a third person viewpoint. I think this may be the end of it but you never know.

Chapter 4

After everything that had been going on, the Doctor wasn't quite sure how he was going to handle Martha. He was well aware that she had feelings for him, he knew it had been a mistake kissing her like that to save himself from the Judoon but he couldn't help it when the whole hospital had been in danger. Now he was paying for it night after night as he had seen her tossing and turning and dreaming, of him it seemed.

Now to have slept with her...well, that was a bad idea but too late to deal with now. It had certainly been a pleasurable experience for them both it seemed.

Martha entered the console room the next morning in a pair of fuzzy pajama pants and a tank and the Doctor turned away and began to hit buttons as he moved around the room.

"Good, you're up. Where shall we go?" he asked with a bright grin.

Martha shrugged, feeling strangely out of place suddenly. Ever since they had slept together, the Doctor had been acting oddly, avoiding her and then acting like a jumping bean when they were together. She had done a fairly decent job of shrugging it off but today felt like a day where she just needed some space.

"I think...I think I'd like to go home today Doctor. I have things that need doing" she stated softly.

He looked up at the statement, his face falling just a little bit.

"Oh. I was thinking we could find a starburst or something similar. I thought you'd enjoy a day of stargazing and planet hopping" he explained.

Martha shook her head. Reality had a cruel way of showing that what we wanted wasn't always exactly as we imagined it. She had wanted him but now that she got him, at least in one sense, she knew that she had to go back to Earth and her ordinary life and away from the spectacular.

"I really do need to get back" she stated calmly as she made her way out of the console room and back to her own bedroom.

She changed quickly and gathered what few belongings she had brought onto the TARDIS, making her way back to him a few moments later. He looked so sad as she came back into the room quietly that for a half a minute, she considered changing her mind. She stepped forward however, giving him a hug. The TARDIS was nearly silent as she smiled slightly.

"Its been fun. Hopefully you don't forget me"

The Doctor pulled her into a hug.

"I could never. You're a star Martha Jones" he smiled at her after he set her back on her feet.

Once he released her from the hug, she turned to him with a smile. "I am good" she said before turning to leave.

Once she was outside the TARDIS, she took a deep breath to steady herself and then began to walk back toward the flat she lived in.

Okay, for now this is the end of things. However, I may do a sequel at some point. Thank you all for your comments and likes and most of all patience.
