Kagome gingerly lifted the last, small boat from the shoreline, soft lips turned down into a frown. "There is only one more." She commented softly, saddened orbs meeting amber. Suddenly smiling, she handed him the lantern. "Here, I want you to have it."

He lifted a slender brow, making no move to take it. "I am unfamiliar with this human custom, so keep it." She pursed her lips for a second, but it wasn't long before she was smiling at him again. "What is it?"

"We can just share it!" A faint pink hue tinged her cheeks. "I-is that okay?"
