"So, what's the verdict?"

Youko looked over the priestess, who was currently taking a bite out of one of the fruits she'd managed to knock down. "About?"

She laughed, and he walked over to her, taking a seat next to where she and Kuronue lounged. It had been a long morning, but a far too quick seven days. They'd be heading back tonight.

She tossed a pear his way, and smiled. "About me of course. Do you think it'll work out?"

Despite the flippancy in her tone, Youko heard the vulnerability in her words. Perhaps it was not so much if the arrangement would work out, but whether she would. She was bold to try and hide it.

"You are unusual for a human, but singular for a priestess." He said instead.
