Chapter 16 You Gotta Be Kidding Me

Asuma POV

My tongue felt thick and hot in my mouth, my mouth was dry and I has no doubt that it was because I didn't feel right ratting Sasuke out. Sure they shouldn't be doing what they are doing but I know Kakashi and Kurenai won't let this stand I have to make sure that this doesn't become public knowledge it would not bode well for anyone. I looked at Kakashi he was looking at me expectantly and it was now or never while Kurenai wasn't here. "Ok so I saw Sasuke on occasion out past his curfew but I never said anything because I thought you had allowed it." I look at Kakashi and he seemed confused on the way that I phrased the sentence. "What makes you think that I would allow him to be out past curfew I never allow that unless there is a mission or we are training." I looked at him and sighed heavily "That is because every time that I saw him out late he was with Anko." I looked at him and his eyes widen I took his shocked silence as a reason for continued. "When I thought about all the late nights he had been spending was with the girl he had been sleeping with. My thought drifted back to that day, then I remembered the day that we were all at the tower and he said Anko love him and there was this understanding between the two of time. I thought that it was a private joke between the two of them. But as I thought more about it and the way that they always looked at each other when they think nobody's looking I was worried that they might be hiding something from us but after all this, I am sure of it. I figured it out at the hospitals but I knew that wasn't the right time to tell you so I decided to wait till I knew that the two of us would be alone. If I told Kurenai about my suspicion she would go postal. We have to keep them out of the public eye, Anko would be ruined so would would question you and Kurenai's right to take care of him and everything would just fall apart. I don't want that for him or for the two of you." I sighed after what I had to say and he looked horrid stuck. "Sasuke come down here please." Kakashi voice was void of emotion no doubt to not spoke Sasuke.

After a few minutes, I heard shuffling feet and Sasuke appeared rubbing the sleep out of his eyes in his pajamas. It hard to believe that a little kid like this was sleeping with women that have 10 years on him. "Yes, papa." He rubbed the sleep out of both of his eyes and sat on the couch next to his father. Kakashi looked at him and then at me and when Sasuke looked more alert he started to get worried "You not going to spank me again are you." A little red tint appeared on his face, the more he acts like a little kid the less likely I was sure that he was sleeping with anyone let alone Anko maybe that is all apart of his act to get away with stuff. Kakashi a sucker for his cute act that is for sure. Kakashi looks at his and shook his head no "Asuma told me that he thinks you are sleeping with Anko and I would like to know from you before I go and interrogate one of my oldest friends." He looked down at his feet before looking at me sadness in his eyes. 'Buddy I had to tell him they would have found out along the road and you would be in so much more trouble." He was making me feel bad to do the right thing jeez no wonder this kid got whatever he wanted. He nodded his head and looked at his dad. "Yes papa, uncle Asuma is right but you can't tell mom she will go crazy and I don't want Anko to get in trouble for something that I initiated. I was the one that started all of it. A couple months she was helping me trained and I flirting with her and before I knew it I waking up at her house. I ran into Kiba on the way home and told him what happened and he agreed to cover for me. Before I knew it it was spending almost every night that he was the cover. Sometimes I could make it back before you noticed I was gone and sometimes I didn' , I'm sorry." I look at Kakashi he was shaking with anger that was evident but when he saw the worried look on Sasuke's face he sighed heavily a calmed himself. He looks at me and then at Sasuke. "I don't approve of any of this what you did is a disgrace but that being said I make your mother aware of this just know that you very actions could have cost Anko her freedom and you could have been taken away from me and your mother if this had been brought to light. Do you understand that." I looked at Sasuke as he brought his legs up to his chest nodding his head. "I get that papa I really am sorry about this whole mess."

Kakashi sighed heavily and we both heard the door the to the front of the house open and we both sighed heavily. "Well, Asuma come with me to explain this to Kurenai. You know how she can get." I look at Kakashi his question caught me off guard but I nodded my head and walked with him to the front. Not only was Kurenai there but Anko was with her. Oh, this is just great I am sure that tin is going to go so well with this shit. I sighed heavily and look at both them it was obvious that Kurenai didn't know that Anko was the one that Sasuke was sleeping with because he was being a way too friendly to her. "The four of us need to talk." I looked at Kakashi his face was stone cold there was no mention he was in Anbu mode. I sighed walking into the kitchen sitting at the table I had a good line of sight of Sasuke he had dozed off on the couch. "Alright first Sasuke is sleeping in the living room so let's try to keep our voice down and second Kurenai place all of your weapons on the table." I turned to look at Kurian as Kakashi he spoke to her slowly and angrily like one wrong move and he would put her down. She seemed confused but did it and I signed heavily. "Asuma it's your turn." I looked at Kakashi and nodded my head before turning to look at Kurenai and Anko. "I have shared my suspicion with your husband and they were confirmed by Sasuke but what I am about to tell you will never leave this room is that understood." I look at Kurenai and then at Anko who looked like he was about to run for it. Kurenai nodded his head and I sighed "Anko and Sasuke have been sleeping together for the past couple of months I figure it out at the hospital so before you go flipping out on me I told Kakashi the moment I figure it out." I turned to look at Kurnia and if looks could kill man we would all have been dead.

She turned her head to look at Anko who was trying to rise out of her seat, "Anko sits down and Kurenai calm you Sasuke is in the other room." I turned it look at Kakashi he was taking control of the situation. I sighed heavily and rested my head in my hand. Before turning to look at Kurien who was seething with rage. "He's 14 you use to babysit him when I and Kakish were busy on mission and Asuma wasn't able to do it. What is wrong with you, you have known him since he was 7." I sighed and she raised her seat indignantly her voice was a hushed venomous whisper but you could tell she was enraged beyond belief. Anko put her hands up getting ready to defend herself and Kakashi steeped in "Sasuke said that he instigated it and that it was all him so don't you dare make it seem like he didn't have a part in this. You can't use Anko as a scapegoat for our son's bad behavior." I looked at Kakashi he had his Sharingan out and I knew that he will use it if things got too far. She sighed and sat back down in her chair, "I know that he had a part in it and I'm not saying that he didn't I am saying that you as a grown woman who is 23 should've known better god he is 14 I just don't get it." Anko simply looked at her hands for the duration of the speech. "I don't know it just happened we didn't plan it." She snarled at Anko I don't think that I have seen Kurian this livid. "Oh, but you had no intention of stopping do you?" I groaned and looked at Kurenai"You need to calm down." She turns out to look at me her red eye full of violent rage. "Don't tell me what to do Asuma I don't care what her excuse is or his they shouldn't have done what the done."

I snarled right back at her "My only concern is my nephew and if any of this gets out of the public I might never get to see him again, you might never get to see him again. So we are all going to move past this. Anko and Sasuke will stop what they are doing, you are going to move on, forgive her it doesn't have to be now but if anyone even senses that there is strife between the three of you then the only one that will be punished for it will be Sasuke. So you can decide what you want to do lose your son or swallow your hurt pride and feelings, your choice." I huffed out some air and look at them, I was exhausted and at this point, I just wanted to sleep. I stood up and glared at them "I will be in the living let me know what the three of you agree on." I sighed and walked into the living not given them a second as sitting upright on the couch and he looked comfy but with his breastplate, he should be doing that. I sat on the couch cushion that Kakashi had once been sitting on and tapped Sasuke on the shoulder. He woke up and look at me. "Come on lay on your back you can use my lap as a pillow" I folded up my legs and he nodded at me. He stretched his legs out and laid on his back and his eyes started to close again, "Thank you uncle Asuma." I smiled down at him as he drifted back off to sleep. I sighed and walked some tv for what felt like hours when a three of them walked out of the kitchen and into the living room. Anko stared down at Sasuke for a moment and sighed. "I'll see you guys when I see you." She walked out of the house and left Kakashi and Kurenai both seething with rage. "That not good for the two of you." They both sighed and looked down at the sleeping boy in my lap. "He a good kid and good kids make mistake you can't hold this over his head he feels bad as is. He hasn't called you papa since he was 7 he only does that when he is emotionally stressed." I looked at Kakashi and he nodded his head. "I know you don't have to make me feel like an even bigger ass." I sighed and nodded my head before turning to look at Kurenai who was starting to calm down. "I'm fine now anyone wants some dinner we could go for some ramen in town." I looked at the both of them and nodded my head. "Alright, what about the little one should we wake him up." They both looked at each other "We will give me a few more hours of sleep then we can go." They weren't fooling me I know that they were very much still pisted but if they wanted to play the doting and forgiving parents for the night let them.
