Chapter 22 Let's Go

Kakashi POV

I watched as Naruto name appeared on the screen as well a Kiba, Kurenai laughed as watched Naruto descend the stairs before walking over to me. She wrapped her arm around my neck and smiled as she got closer to her ears. "When your boy loses and he will I am going to have so much fun with you tonight." She smiled at me evilly as she walked back over to her spot with her team. That woman and her sadistic sex games I shook my head and sighed watching Naruto get ready to talk to Kiba. Let's see how far you've come to Naruto. "Let's Go Kiba destroy that little twerp." I looked over to see Sasuke walking up the steps and Naruto looked up at him shocked and he wasn't the only one. Sasuke smiles at Sakura before refusing it look at me, he knew if he did he would get the death glare of a century. "Hey what is your deal Sasuke I'm your teammate." Sasuke laughed "Kiba kicks his worthless butt" Kibs smiled "You got it" I watched him walked over to stand next to Sakura but I grabbed him by the arm and pulled him to the back of the wall.

"What the hell are you doing awake." He looked up me before snapping his head back down to look at his feet. I knew that I must have had a harsh glint in my eyes because he wouldn't look up. "I couldn't sleep papa I have a nightmare and it woke me up I just didn't want to be alone so I thought that I would cheer on my friend is that not okay." I sighed heavy lad his ears started to turn red. He was really too cute when he was embarrassed."Well, then you should cheer for your teammate unless you want to go a stand over there with your mother." He himself wide "Good idea" I watched him walk over to his mother who places a gentle hand on his head. "I wasn't being serious." Asuma laughs as he walked over to me keeping his eyes on the field as the two of them started to fight. "So why is Sasuke rooting for Kiba." I looked at him for a moment and smiled "Why do you think he hates Naruto and Kiba is his best friend." He nods his head "Better question how is he even standing after that sealing jutsu you did on else would be bedridden from exhaustion. " I shrugged my shoulders "He claimed he had a nightmare and didn't want to stay in the room alone." He nodded his head but I could see that he didn't believe it either. "Yeah well, I wouldn't believe that either I guess we will just all have to keep an eye on him for the time being." I nodded my head and watched him walk back to his group. Nautro was taking a beating. "That boy Akamaru."

I turned over to see that Sasuke was cheering him on while his mother whispered in his ear. That couldn't be good, I shudder at the two fo them conspiring. I decided to listen in on them. "So what are Kibas chance of losing." Sasuke shrugged his shoulder before looking at the fight, "Are you kidding me the kid always freezes, he froze in the land of the waves, hell he cants even do regular mission let alone ones that involve combats. No doubt Kiba will win. There is a small chance with Nauro shadow clones but that is the only jutsu that he can perform correctly. " He laughed a bit and Kurenai laughed with him, she shouldn't be showing such disrespect. Then she had the nerve to wonder where he gets the nerve to act the same way. I walked over to them and pulled Sasuke in his ear. "Come on along with me I think that it is about time that you cheer on your teammate." He groaned as I pulled him back over to stand with me and Sasuke. But he sat down instead and watched the match.

We are all shocked to see that Naruto had one after that barrage of clones, Sasuke sighed and shook his head sadly "I can't believe he lost" He simply shook his head again as Naruto walks over to him and simply "What got nothing to say." I watched Sasuke eyebrow start to twitch but instead of saying something. He walked more of Sakura and pulled her into a kiss before sitting back down on the ground. I watch Sakura smiled at him and Naruto snarled most of all he looked heart. "You might have won the battle with Kiba. But when it comes to the fight for Sakura heart. You lost the moment that you passed out in the forest of death." He smirked evilly at him before looking back at the field. After that, neither of them really paid that much attention they mostly argue for the rest of the match. That was until Rock Lee and Gara were up. He stood up quickly and look at the field he sighed before turning to look at me. "Dad you can't let them fight." "Why not Lee can win this." We both turn to look at Guy who had this irritated look on his face. "He is going to lose so you might as well stop it now before he gets seriously hurt." I looked at him and then a Guy who was looking ready to kill. "How dare you root for your compared, not the sand." He rolled his eyes "None of them is my compared as long as we are in these exams we are enemies." Guy started to shake with anger. I turned to look at Sasuke glaring down at him. "Sasuke hush now." I look at him and he growled under his breath getting ready to argue but he saw the look in my eye grumbled. "Fine whatever just remember I said to stop this."

We watched in horror as Garar plated Lee with sand one blow right after the other, but he started to move fated and I turn to look at Guy. "You didn't." Sasuke looked up for the fight for the first time since it started. He looked at me and then at Guy "I did" I talked to him "So you out of your mind that is the most irresponsible thing that I have ever seen." He scoffed at me "More irresponsible than letting your son with has a curse mark on his shoulder still be walking around like its nothing." I watched Sasuke snarled at him before turning back to the fight. I explain to Sakura about the 8 gates and Sasuke looked up from the fight once more. "You ought to tell him to stop now." I looked at Sasuke he had this intrigued look in his eyes "Sasuke hush there is a chance that he can win." Sasuke stared at me before turning to look at Guy. "It won't matter if he opens all 8 of the gates it won't make a difference. He will die if you don't step in now. Can't you sense it the bloodlust coming off of him it is the same bloodlust I had when I tried to kill Naruto. The only difference is that you won't stop him and trust me you are going to want to. " Guy glare at kept going ignoring the look "He will die and you are going to have to live with that trust me its horrible, to known you caused the death of someone you cared about because you were too weak or stupid to stop it." Was this about his mother and the rest of the clan. I sigh and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Sasuke come with me." He looked up at me and sigh, we walked over to a hallway that led out of the building. I got done on one kneed to look at me. "What is wrong with you today." He looked at me and then at the end of the hallway to the fighting ring. "Nothing dad it just that he is going to die and it won't be pretty." He looked at me this pina in his eyes. "Does this have something to do with the forest of death." He growled "No dad would you just listen to kid will die and if he does live it will be a cripple." I shook my head no "Keep your opinions on the matter to yourself, Guy is close to snapping."

We headed back to the fight and he glared at the two of them fighting. It was like he was seeing something that I could. I lifted p my headband and matched and my eyes widen. Sasuke shook his had and look at fight "Just remember I told you to stop this twice now." Lee had just dropped to the ground."I told you" I watch as the sand and softened the fall for Gara. He had this while proud look in his eyes. No! I watched he hand shoot forward covering Lees, right leg, and arm. I sighed and look at him a pressure cause him to scream out in pain. He drooped to the ground and then the sand came rushing after him, Gara was really in to go kill him. "You should go now." I turned to look at Sasuke and Guy jumped into action. He stopped the sand before it could get to Lee. I sighed before looking at Sasuke.

I felt a presence behind me and turned to see Kurenai was walked over to me she walked gently behind Sasuke and place a kiss on his head. "I'm glad that wasn't you," She whispered it so that only the two of us could hear it. I shudder at the thought and looked at Naruto moving closer to Rock Lee and this cold dreed hit me.I ran after him stopping him from saying something stupid. Then I walked vore to Guy I placed a hand on his hand shoulder as they carried Lee away he would never fight again and that is a hard pill to swallow for both the teacher and the student.

After that, there'd want much excitement in the air there was only choji's match left. He was excited to get his all you can eat beef.I sighed and looked at him before turning to see Ausma.I looked at Sasuke he looked dead on his feet. I turn it look at Kurnai who had noticed the same thing. "Alright, Suk comes on I have to give you enough free room." He looked at him confused "Come one don't make me embarrass you in front of Sakura." He grumbled under his breath and nodded his head "Alright Sakura I am going to need you to keep tabs on the exams for me alright." She nodded her head I grabbed Sasuke and popped off. "Dad" I had placed Sasuke on my back he looked too exhausted to walk back to the house. "Yeah, buddy" He snuggled closer to me "Can I stay with you tonight after that thing with Gara I don't want to be alone especially not with Orochimaru still out here." I smiled "You haven't done that since you were 9 but sure." I smile at him before placing him gently on the couch to crest. This was going to a long month.

I placed Sasuke on the couch wrapping his up in the thick blanket hanging on the back fo the couch before walking into the kitchen and making a pot of coffee when he woke up we were going to start to train. But with that cruse mark he was going to have a lot of people coming after him and I was going to be careful where I trained him. When the water was boiling in the pot I heard the sound of shifting in the living room. There was no way that he was moving so early he was beyond the point of exhausted and his power supply must have been used up for the most part. I started out walking tin the room to see that there was no one in the room and Sasuke hadn't moved a inch. Then there was this blinding pain in my skull and as I dropped to the ground I could feel blood dripping down my neck as a metallic smell filled the air. When I looked up I was greeted with the sight of Kabuto. The little weasle had this devsie and disgutsing grin on his face as he truen to look at Sasuke, his hand glowing as he turen back to look at me. "Say good by Kakshi." I oudl see his hand coming closesr but my head was swimming for now all I coudl do is alaert the others. I sued a substeion justs anad started to make my way to the Hokage.
