Chapter 24 New Problems Same Day
Sasuke POV
I felt our lips intertwine as she melted into my grasp I sighed this is what I have been thinking about doing all day. I kissed her deeply and she leaned into the kiss. I sighed and pulled away only to catch my breath before going into another kiss. I swore I could have heard someone screaming was that Ino? I sighed and pulled away from her when I felt a sting on my neck. I put a hand on it and flinched as this searing pain came back. "Sakura." She looked at me shocked for a moment and I smiled but it quickly fell from my face the happiness of finally getting that off of my chest died quickly when I saw her, I mean truly saw her. "I'm so sorry for scaring you but please don't tell Naruto it would only make things worse and he doesn't need to be worrying about me. We still need to get the heaven scroll."
"I'm sorry Sakura but I don't think that you should come in he is still sleeping I understand that you worry about him and the curse mark.I know you were there for the fight but I don't think that it will be best for you to be here. I mean he needs rest and then when he does wake up we have to start to training for the exams next month." I groaned and rolled onto my side before sitting upright cracking my neck and looking around. I was home when I looked out the glass back porch doors, the midday sun was shining brightly on my face. I sighed and stood up shaking the sleep out of my muscles and walked them over to the front door to see that my father was talking to Sakura. Her eyes lit up when she saw me I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes if I could see that my father was giving me these tender look as he turned to look at sighed heavily and look at me "10 minutes Suk." I nodded my head and watched him walk out of the room and I stumbled to the door using it for support. I was still pretty lacked any energy. "Hey, Sakura what up." I watched her move closer to me giving me her shoulder as support. "I was worried about you Kakashi left so abruptly that I was anxious that it might have something to do with the curse mark. As soon as I was able to get away from Naruto I ran right over here. I know that he doesn't know where you live and I didn't want to cause you unnecessary problems by bringing him with me." I smiled at her she was always thinking of me.
"I want to apologize." I looked at her and she seemed taken back as her eyebrows furred. "Why would you want to apologize to me." I look at her and she smiled gently at me "I was a total ass to you when we were just straining our team. I brushed you off and thought of you as below me. I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am but there is one thing that I can do." She looked at me confused and I seize the moment, I pulled her into my arms and locked our lips together, before pulling away smiling at her. When I pulled away she swooned in my arms. I laugh a little and looked at her I was glad that my touch could make her knees weak. She smiled wide at me before grabbing me by my collar and pulling me into another kiss. We stood like that for 10 minutes if not more when my father finally called back to me. "Come on Suk." I pulled away from Sakura to see that my father was leaning up against the black hallway wall that led into the kitchen. I turned to look at the hallway to the let that lead to the stairs. "Alright I will see you later you can count on that we still have to go on that date." I smiled at her and watched her walk away before I collapsed. I really was out of energy that was for sure. I groan when I felt soft and warm hands lift me off of the groans and cradle me in their arms. "Dad I'm not a baby put me down."
I groaned and slowly opened my eyes to see that my it wasn't my father that lifted me up in the first place. I snarled when I look to see that it was Kabuto. I grabbed a kunai from my leg holster and sliced his arm open. Causing him to drop me, I took that moment to distance myself from him. I groaned and rubbed my head I felt like I had been hit by Guy. I grumbled under my breath and looked at Kabuto his silver hair and venomous eyes staring daggers at me. "What the hell do you think that you are doing Kabuto." I looked at him and he sneered at me as he slowly began to wrap up his arm ."That's cute your daddy carries you to bed must be nice to have a family of your own." I snarled at him "But who knows how long that will last I'm sure that you daddy is bleeding out as we speak." I stared at him, I knew that I was low on chakra but I wasn't going to let him take me. I moved my hands rapidly, I had some chakra left and I was going to use it to kill this loser. Fire Style: Great Dragon Flame Jutsu I watched as a large fireball bigger than the area we were fighting in, formed in the shape of a large dragon. I watched it shoot start towards Kabuto. He tried to dodge it but it covers such a wide range of land that he couldn't expect it. When the flames died down I saw him collapsed on the ground behind. "You work for Orochimaru I should have known you act just like a snake." He smiled at me easily "I was supposed to steal you out of your hospital room but you weren't there." I snarled at him and felt the presence of three other people. When I turned around, my mother was standing there next to Asuma, and the Hokage. Her eyes were ferocious and I tried not to panic. That was when I felt the presence of another ninja. When I turn to look to my right, I found that my father was standing next to me.I sighed and collapsed on the ground sitting there huffing and puffing ad he gently placed a hand on my shoulder. "You did well Sasuke." He is smiled down at me his mask was off and you could see the line where the kunai cut out his eye. I sighed as he looked at Kubota. "No wonder you never passed your exam couldn't even tell that I used a submission just as you were about to drive the knife through my again you have me tied up slowed me down"
Kabuto snarled looking at me "Orochimaru will get his prize whether you want it to happen or not one way or another we will have him on our own." I look at him as he disappeared from sight. I sighed and passed out I could hear that there were people moving around me and I got this feeling like I was weightless. When I opened my eyes to see that I was on my uncle's back and my father was standing next to me. He was limping a bit what the hell happened. "What happened when I passed out I remember Sakura leaving and then after that it as nothing." I looked at him could it have been some kind of gen-jutsu or something else maybe. I laid my head on my uncles back and sighed out heavily before hiding my worried face into his shoulder. I felt his body rumble as he laughed at me "Your dad fine kid don't let what Kabuto said to get you all worried. You passed out and I walked into the room to see that that Kabuto was standing over seems that when you passed out once you first got home. Kakashi here let himself get jumped and Kabuto turned into him when he was only out of the village he when he turned back the only problem was that Kakashi broke free and got us we. We were able to stop him in time thank god." I snarled at him "I stopped him all you did was show up at the last minute." I sighed as I felt this tingle in my neck and looked up to see that my father was placing a hand on my neck looking at curse mark before turning to look at me. "Don't speak that way to your uncle." I looked at him and nodded my head before resting my head on my uncle's shoulder as he carried me back to the house. I couldn't even feel my legs.
When we got back to the house they all spent their time outside the house in the back talking about the next move I was starting to get irritating. I sighed and watched them talk, my mother turned back to look at me sighed heavily.I got up off of the couch and walked into the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water and drank it slowly before resting my head on my hand and turned to see that my father was walking in the house to talk to me. I said, "I'm in here." I waited to see him before sitting at the table and sighed. "Well, what is the verdict?" I looked at him and rest my head on my hand. "You and I are going to train outside of town were Orochimaru can't find you. We leave tomorrow night. "So if you want to spend time with anyone then you better do it tomorrow morning. But for now we are going to get something to eat and Asuma and his team is coming so you better place nice." I sighed heavily and nodded my head while rising to my feet.
We had just made it to the all you can't eat smoke beef place when I noticed that Ino, Choji, and Shikamaru were already there.I sighed heavily and Ausma placed a hand on the small of my back reassuring like my aunt sued to do. "You are my nephew and they are my team so I expect you to get along with them Sasuke." I nodded my head and walked over to them with my parents. When we got to the restaurant they sat at the bar getting a bottle of Sasuke while I was stuck with the three stooges. Ino glared at me before and began to sigh heavily. "What is it Ino?" I looked at her and looked out of the corner of my eye to see that Asuma and my dad were watching me. "I don't get it why is it about Sakura that you prefer to me I just don't get it." I rolled my eyes and glared at her whiling tipping my head back against the seat."Don't know just do." I looked at her but ended up turning to look at Shikamaru. "Nice by the way in the way that you handled that sound ninja." He smiled cockily at me "Yeah well it was nothing compared the way that you took care of that sound ninja from the forest of death." I smiled and nodded my head before looking at Choji. "I heard you gave it your best." I laughed at him and he glared at me. "Yeah well not all of us have crazy monster powers like you." I felt my smile drop. It wasn't like I picked my power it was handed to me against my will.I wanted to say something to blow up and tell him that same power was going to get me killed. But when I turn to look at my father he mouthed the word no tantrums. I don't know why he insisted on calling my angry outbursts that but he did. It made me feel like a bratty child. I sigh and turned to look at Choji simply nodding my head as my parents and uncle walked over to us.
After about an hour or two we head back to the house and I walked into the kitchen getting something to drink before heading up to my room. I sat on my bed getting ready to knock out when my father walked in. He looks at me and then closed the door so that my mother would hear the two of us talking. "So what did Choji and Shikamaru mean when they talked about the monster power you use it beat the sound ninja. The one with the two broken arms?" I looked at him and then at my lap before laying on my side. But he didn't take the hint and walked close to my bed crouching down so that he was looking at me. I groaned and looked back at him I knew that my eyes told him that I didn't want to talk about it but he wasn't going to let up. "Yeah, I broke both of his arms and would have killed the other guy if it wasn't for Sakura she was the one that brought me back down from that stupid curse mark. If it wasn't for her I would have killed that sound ninja guy and that would have only caused problems with the others villages." I could see my vision going blurry as he laughed at me and brushed some hair out of my face. "That's my little ninja, head to bed we'll talk more in the morning." I felt his lips brush against my forehead and he walked over to my door and turned the light off before leaving the door slightly open.
I could hear the slow creak the door and worry started to form when I thought about the last time that I went to sleep. "Dad!" I felt my throat clench as my voice started to crack. I could hear the croak and the sound of footsteps as I watched the door slowly started to open and my fathers had popped in. I could see the silver hair glinting in the moonlight. He had this smile on his face as he got closer and walked over to me. Kneeling down while running his hand through my hair trying to soothe me. "Whats up kid." I looked at him and sighed heavily this was going to suck and I would never live it down but. "Can you stay just for a little bit till I fall asleep." I could hear him chuckle under his breath as I passed out and he cotunred to stroe his fingers through my hair.
