Me: SNAAAAAAP

"Come, let us chat." The large man made no move to stand, simply smiling at the four. Asui squinted at Hectore. What was up with his face?

"My face? Ah, my injury," Hectore laughed, shaking his head. Diana shot Asui a glare and he blinked. Had he said that out loud? "I got it from a battle when I was young mage. It was, ah...a knife fight, no magic involved. Of course, my magic now keeps the wound open."

"And what magic would that be?" Inazu asked, He took to the front, Hectore's eyes shifting from Asui to Inazu.

"It is called Historia," Hectore answered. "You would not know it, but it is rather strong. Currently, I am in training to increase my power. But that is of no concern to you. Come, sit. I hear we have a problem on our hands?"

"To say that we have a problem is an understatement," Diana stated. She followed Inazu fully into the tent, leaving Asui and Kira standing awkwardly in the opening created by the tent flap. S shoved the two other mages in with a sigh, walking in after them. Hectore raised his eyes to S briefly, then wandering to Asui and Kira, pausing on Diana, and finally settling on Inazu. Inazu looked around, exhaling slowly; he was gathering his senses, keeping himself under his own control. Diana's eyes remained patiently on Hectore; she was never out of control, it wasn't even a worry for her.

"Sir, we're curious. We were called here on a job, only to be abducted by two of your mages." Inazu sat in front of Hectore, pulling his legs in crisscross. He smiled, tilting his head to one side. "We appreciate the hospitality you've elected to show us, but I must say, it's confusing," Inazu chuckled. He knew how to disarm someone. Spending time with Asui and having to calm down the Dragon Slayer had those kinds of perks. Hectore relaxed, putting his quill down and focusing on the two. The cloth of Diana's skirt ruffled as she moved to stand behind Inazu, arms crossed, back ramrod straight, stern as her teacher, Erza.

"Why are you trying to lure the Fairy Tail members away from the guild?" Diana pressed. Hectore raised his eyebrows mildly.

"Sebastian, would you mind?" Diana stiffened and Inazu relaxed. So that was his name. Sebastian Raz...and whatever his last name was. S, Asui guessed he could call the mage Sebastian now, blinked. His eye was still sown up from yesterday. That dark kid, Chester...He hadn't been the one to make that mark. Well, yes, but he wasn't the reason it wouldn't heal. The power of the dark-haired mage in the tent was overwhelming, yet he was scared. Asui could smell it plastered all over Sebastian. "This may be sensitive, especially for you."

Sebastian nodded, backing out of the tent and unlacing the knot at the bottom, the tent flaps flopping shut. Hectore set one elbow on the desk in front of him, leaning his face into his palm. The muscle side of his face showed still. It freaked Asui out, actually. That was really weird. Wouldn't you at least put a blanket on that part of your face? A cloth or something? Wasn't that a really good way to catch diseases? Icilia had always told Asui to clean and cover his cuts when he got hurt, so he wouldn't get sick. Maybe that was because the ground was dirty where he and Icilia had lived, up in their mountains.

"Your achievement exams are, uh, here, yes?" Hectore's voice rang through the tent, shaking Asui out of his thoughts. That's right, something important was happening.

"They are coming up. Our strongest mages are headed to Fairy Tail's holy island to fight for the guild's top rank of an S-Class mage," Diana said. Violet eyes bored into silver coins, emotionless on both sides. Diana's arms remained tight across her chest. While Inazu looked calm, Asui could see the tension in his legs. Inazu was a runner, not a fighter, and Asui found it amusing. Inazu remained quiet, allowing room for Hectore to gather his thoughts and then respond. Kira and Asui sat in the corner. Asui's mind wandered, slowly. Where were they? Why?

Lion's Maw. Hadn't they destroyed Lion's Maw? "Not good enough, my friend," Sebastian had said. People had died, though. Not well enough? What dd he mean, not well enough? Asui had done his best. But the Dragon Force was odd. Uncontrollable. He was hoping that being in Fairy Tail with the Iron Gajeel, and the Sky Maiden Wendy, and the amazing Salamander would help him get stronger. He had hoped training with other Dragons would give him the power to make Icilia proud. And while other guilds had their fair share of powerful wizards and mages, Fairy Tail held a special place in his heart.

Icilia had spoken of fairies. Fairies were myths, so were dragons. Asui had played with fairies when he was little, very little. But Icilia had always reminded him that fairies didn't come to crybabies, and he had to be strong if he was to continue to keep company with the fairies. Asui liked the fairies. He wanted to keep playing with them. So he stayed strong, training to keep company with the fairies and make Icilia proud. But one day, the fairies were gone, and so was Icilia. He came back from...something...

No, he was waking up? Maybe? Asui sighed, humming the exhale. He didn't remember, huh? Maybe he was starting to forget. That was what was implied by not remembering, right?

Ah, well, with Asui's luck, he'd wake up again to find that he remembered all over again. Asui frowned, closing his eyes and snoring. His sleep whisked away on the white, muscular wings of Icilia, his dragon, his father. They soared through trees, things tilting and flying by in a blur, the only constant being the white wings. They were just as beautiful as Asui remembered.

He missed his dragon.

"Asui, wake up sweetheart we're leaving. Asui, c'mon."

"Here, let me try."

"Dia-chan, no, you'll kill him. Let Ina-kun handle this."

"Hmph. If you insist." Asui's mouth twitched to a smile and he opened his eyes. He couldn't see very well, so he adjusted his glasses. Inazu nodded down to him, extending his hand. Asui grasped it, pulling himself up. Inazu walked towards the flap of the tent, letting Diana and Kira out first, Asui following shortly after. Inazu thanked Hectore for his time and exited as well. He sighed, shaking his head.

"So?" Asui asked. Inazu's jaw tightened, but he smiled at Asui, forced if Asui knew anything. Asui blinked, slowly smiling as well.

"We're free to find the dog and complete our mission," Inazu said. His jaw was set, and though his mouth was smiling, his eyes were hard as steel. Asui blinked.

If Inazu isn't alright, something must have happened. I shouldn't have fallen asleep. But it may be a battle, and a good thing I got my sleep.

"I see..." Asui murmured. He titled his head slightly, watching Inazu. He was still a little tense. He wasn't happy with the information he'd been given.

"So...do we know what our dog looks like?" Kira asked. She probably fell asleep too. She looked tired, but a just-awake tired. "Asui, you were closest to finding it before we got distracted in battle, right?" Asui nodded. "Do you remember anything? Seeing it?" Kira asked hopefully.

"It smells like dog," Asui offered. Kira rolled her eyes.

"Not really what I asked."

"Sorry, man." Asui shrugged.

"Man? MAN?! I'M NOT A MAN!" Kira screeched. She grabbed the collar of Asui's shirt, shaking him rapidly. "DO YOU SEE MY CUTENESS? DO YOU?!" Kira shoved Asui's face into her breasts. "DOES THIS LOOK LIKE A MAN TO YOU!?"

"Okay, okay, geez!" Asui said, shoving off of Kira. She smelled like lilacs. Lilacs and electricity. He blinked and yawned, waving his hand back and forth. "Whatever, Kira-chan."

"Asui!" she whined, anime faucets of tears pouring out of her eyes. Electricity. But why? It was almost, yet not quite...Inazu's lightning.

"Why would you do that?" Inazu asked, giving Kira a weird look. The Celestial Spirit magess whimpered, her eyes rounding and still filled with tears.

"So mean," she sniffed, "To call me a man, then to completely ignore my appeal! I'm so cute! How can you ignore that?" Kira asked. She pressed herself against Inazu, who was backing away awkwardly, waving his hands in front of himself.

"K-Kira-chan-"

"Can we focus?" Diana said, pushing the two apart and charging forward. Asui tilted his head to one side and followed, one eye squinted suspiciously. Why was she so angry? They got to complete the job, right?

Asui shrugged, following Diana after a few moments. He just assumed he would never understand women. Maybe that was alright, though.

"Asui." Diana barked. Asui looked up, teal swishing in front of him, pace unrelenting. "Do you know where our dog is?"

"Nah. I can find it, though," Asui said. Diana nodded.

"Good. Do it."

"I can't."

Diana stopped, so Asui stopped too, looking at her. Her hands clenched into fists, eyebrow twitching.

"You just said you could," she said. Asui shrugged, looking up to the treetops.

"I can as in I have the ability...But I can't because I don't remember the scent any more. I abandon it when I came to save you."

"You didn't save me," Diana snapped, cutting him off. "I was doing just fine on my own! I don't need anyone to save me." Asui raised an eyebrow.

"I know, but...You were exhausted Dia-chan. I was just helpin' out. Anyways. If we have more of what our doggo smells like, sure thing, I got you. If not..." Asui shrugged. "We're gonna have to do this manually. Find fur, poop, stuff like that. Unless you want me to guess. But..I wouldn't recommend it."

Diana pursed her lips, crossing her arms over her chest. She stared at Asui. He felt a slight twinge in the back of his mind, almost like a headache but short. She scared him, honestly. But it was a mixed scared, he guessed. Because he liked her too, she was one of his nakama, recent though the connection was. So, he was scared of her, but he liked her. It was an odd sort of feeling. It was kind of like Icilia, if he were thinking about it.

But who had time to think?

"Dia-chan! Lookie, lookie!" Kira called. Asui and Dana looked around to the other two, Kira on Inazu's back as Inazu stumbled towards Asui and Diana. His eyes were blank and white, mouth gaping. He staggered, then collapsed.

"So...Heavy..." Inazu breathed, being crushed on the ground beneath Kira. She stared down at him, red filling up her whole face. Asui's laugh began in his stomach, slowly boiling over until he was spewing laughter, tears flowing out of his eyes as he pointed at the two.

"KIRA YOU KILLED INA WITH YOUR WEIGHT PFFFFTTTTTHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA-"

"SHUT UP!" Kira cried, punching Asui flying. aybe he should be scared of Kira, too.
