Quarter Seventeen

"The Things happening right now…"

"What are you doing here Akashi-kun…" Kouki asked he didn't really know what to do right now like he's literally torn if he'd like to thank his ex for coming at the right moment since he really don't know what to react to Kagami's confession that he loves him and Akashi saved him the trouble of escaping that situation but then again Akashi's sudden appearance also gives a storm in his heart. What in the world did he do to deserve this?

Akashi standing firm his face devoid any emotion as made eye contact with his hazel eyes making Kouki flinch a little at the intensity of his stare.

"I thought it was quite obvious why I'm here." Akashi said as if he's supposed to know the reason and what he was thinking. News flash he doesn't even know his! As if understanding what he was thinking Akashi sighed, "I have to go back to Kyoto and I came here to tell you that my offer the other night still stands."

Kouki is beyond frustrated at this point, he can't understand Akashi's intention at all. Its been six months since they last saw each other this is the very first time that Akashi had shown a sign of wanting to talk to him but only for what? To get him back at his side? He wasn't even clear when he asked him about transferring to Rakuzan. He didn't say anything about getting back together and he was thankful of that since he doesn't really even know what will he answer if Akashi ever ask him of getting back together. He was to voice out his pent up anger and frustration when a familiar voice called out to them.

"Akashi-kun." It was Kuroko, God Kuroko you are such a savior!

"Kuroko-kun."

"Oh good you're here Tetsuya." Akashi said as he turned his attention to the blunette from him.

"I apologize for not answering your call I was a bit busy earlier." Kuroko apogized with a formal bow. Akashi shook his head silently telling the other boy not worry. "It's fine now that you're here, Kouki would you mind leaving Tetsuya and I will only catch up the lost time." Kouki stop himself from leaving such sarcastic remark. Yeah right 'catching up' he said.

"Kouki…"

"I'm leaving." You don't have to tell me twice jerk!

Once Kouki picked up his bag out of the gym he found his way back to the school entrance only to see the other red head leaning his back on the wall. There's no way he could avoid him since their eyes already met and if he act as if he didn't see him or even acknowledge his presence it'll come out like he's really avoiding him (the truth is of course he's avoiding him too) and he doesn't really want to be confronted again for it.

"H-Hey…" Kouki said stuttering a bit while he force a smile on his face.

"Can we walk home together?" Kagami asked, he sighed he can't really back out of this one.

"Y-Yeah okay."

"If you wrinkle your brows like that it would become permanent." Kagami pointed out snapping the brunette back to reality. Kouki doesn't like this situation one bit since it's as if this 'situation' had already happen to him before.

"Who cares anyway." Kouki grumbled as he look away from the taller boy.

"Me of course..." Kagami said like it was the most obvious thing in the world making Kouki blush...

Kouki grumbled as he turned away from the annoying red head he was now facing the door of the train but he saw the glimpse of Kagami staring intently at him by the reflection of the window making him even more aware of his presence. Why are you looking at me like that?! Stop that please! He yelled inside his mind as he started to freak out internally.

"I wanted to ask you about that guy earlier but I do understand if you don't give me any answer." Kagami said snapping the brunette out of his internal struggle.

"Eh.." Kouki looks up to look at Kagami on the train door's mirror only to see him staring at him through it. He doesn't know why but the way Kagami looks at him like that gives him chills. It wasn't the kind of chill that you feel when you're scared or feeling creep out of someone Kagami's stare is…something else…

"I just don't like it when he shows up and when he leaves you're left looking like this…" Kagami said almost as if in frustration.

"Looking like what?" Kouki asked in confusion, what does he look like to Kagami?

"Looking so heart broken."

Heart broken? Me?

"I am not…" He denied stubbornly he doesn't even know what he was saying, sure that he was hurt by his past with Akashi but that's all there is to it he hurt him and now he's moved on (Yeah right not like it's true anyway) but no one has to know about that bit.

"I really really like you Kouki…" Irked, Kouki turn to face Kagami about to tell the taller boy to stop saying things like that when the train carriage they're were on right now jolted suddenly making him stumbled forward to Kagami's chest while the red head holding him up to help him balance himself.

What's with this picture? A scene out from some shoujo manga, hell this is nuts!

He was about to untangle himself from the taller red head but he wouldn't let go off him. What's with him? Isn't he worried about people looking at them or what? But then again this is the train's night service so the other passengers is not really paying attention to them since most of them are asleep while they wait for their stop.

"L-Let go please…"

"I will not…" Then that's where he hears it the loud sound of his heart pounding on his chest it was as if it was the only sound he could hear at that very moment. Kami-sama what is happening to me?!

"I like Kagami-kun too but right now I don't really know what to do…should I tell him what I feel?" He thought to himself, Nina had already threaten to destroy Kagami's career if he did not stay away from him and then there is Akashi.

Why is everything have to be this complicated?! But he realized that if he kept on holding back and beat himself in never ending cycle of doubt and fear nothing will really change. It's okay to be selfish sometimes!

The next thing that he did was like a blur heck he really didn't know why he did it but he did it. Maybe it was recklessness or maybe this is just him damning every complicated things and throwing them out of the bin. As he tip toed to reach the taller boy's collar grabbing them downwards to place a kiss on Kagami's lips.

Forget Akashi, Nina and the whole fucking world this thing happening right now...

Feels so fucking right.

Bad Idea Kouki being reckless leads to bad things hehehe, but then... KYAA I'm back after a what? A fuckng very long time! And I'm sorry real life sucks.
