A/N: Thanks for reading. Enjoy!

"Rachel is nothing but a trouble making bitch.", I snarl after Mia tells me that it was Rachel who Will was having sex with. "She thrives on causing turmoil in the lives of others."

"She gave Will what I wasn't ready to give.", Mia sniffles between sobs.

"What does that mean?" She wipes away a few tears and looks uncomfortably at Christian. Putting two and two together, I deduce what she's saying. "Oh." Christian shifts his glare to me and silently asks for an explanation. "Um..."

"Someone needs to fill me in here.", he demands.

"I wouldn't sleep with him. I told him I wanted to wait, and he seemed to understand and support my decision, but that was obviously a front. How naïve was I to think that a guy would stay with me and be fine with not having sex."

"You're not naïve. Will is a fool who didn't appreciate the amazing girl he had in front of him. You deserve so much better than him."

"Christian's right. Right now it hurts. Tomorrow it'll hurt. However, the pain will gradually subside, and there will be a day where it's gone.", I tell Mia. "There's a guy out there who will love you and cherish you, never taking you for granted. It's not a question of if, only when."

"Part of me wants to see him one last time.", Mia sighs.

"That won't be happening. You're not going anywhere near him.", Christian mutters. "I, on the other, plan on seeing him with my fist."

"And that won't be happening either. The last thing you need to do is go and something stupid.", I say, but I know I'm not getting through to him. He keeps standing there with fury in his eyes. "Christian Grey, look at me."

"I'm looking at you."

"Look at me and actually listen to what I've got to say. If you're violent towards Will, all you're going to do is make things worse, and not just for him." His eyes travel to my stomach. "I need my husband, and this baby needs his or her father. Please."

"Fine. I won't hurt him.", he mumbles.

"Don't recruit any of your guys to do so either." He walks over to the counter, keeping his eyes away from Mia and I. "Just because you're not the one who does the hitting doesn't make it any less illegal."

"All right, all right."

"Call if you need anything. I love you sis. Bye." With my legs crossed on the top of the bed, I sit back and watch Christian place his phone on the dresser. "Mia sounded a little better. She didn't want to tell my parents about what happened, but my mom could tell something was wrong so she confided in her. They had a long talk, and now Mia's headed to bed."

"I feel so bad for her. She really thought Will could be the one, but he went and ruined it by cheating with Rachel of all of people. My intuition tells me it wasn't a coincidence. She could've targeted Will knowing he was the boyfriend of my sister-in-law."

"It's possible although I'm certain Will didn't do anything he didn't want to do. His clothes didn't magically fall off, and his body didn't just land on her. No. The fucker knew he had a girlfriend, and he still chose to screw someone else. I promised you I wouldn't do anything illegal against him, but I'm trying to think of other ways to make him pay."

"Other ways?"

"Will's dream is to be the hottest up and coming chef, right? He's done well so far with his job at Delish, but things could just change at the snap of a finger.", he smirks.

"You want to get him blackballed."

"That's an idea. I'd need your help going about it." I'm not liking where this is going. "The magazine could run a less than flattering article on Delish."

"Do you not recall the piece we did on the restaurant when it first opened? I was the one who did it. It was also thanks to that article that Mia and Will met. Now you're asking for us to run another story on it, one that goes against the first one?", I scoff.

"You covered the restaurant as a whole, only discussing the food briefly. What if you got Daniel to do a follow up food review? He could write a less than glowing review of the food."

"Only the food there isn't terrible.", I snap. "But you don't care about that. You're not only asking me to abuse my position but to also get Daniel to lie, thus putting his own reputation at stake. Do you hear yourself? Let's not forget your little scheme would hurt the restaurant as a whole. It's Caroline's career. Do you really want to destroy her as a way of getting back at her brother?"

"I told you I wouldn't do anything to get myself in trouble, and doing the food review would go along with my word.", he says as he sit down on the other side of the bed. "The magazine will be officially mine at the first of next week so you can have Daniel do the review a few days afterwards." He tries to touch my shoulder, but I hop off the bed and away from him.

"You promised me you buying the magazine wouldn't affect my job. You said you would only be involved financially. You also said others wouldn't look at me differently. All of that would go down the fucking drain with the review." He gets up, but I take a step away from him. "Don't. If you think you can sweet talk me into going along with your plan, you're badly mistaken. In fact, I'll quit."

"You can't quit."

"Yes I can, and I will. It's up to you." For a split second, he looks like he's about to agree, but then he moves past me and towards the door. "Where are you going?"

"I'm going to check in with Reynolds to see if there's been any change at the Edgewater. I also have some paperwork to do. You should get back in bed."

"Your solution to what just happened is to walk out?"

"I'm not walking out Ana. I have work to do." His arms go around my waist as his lips get closer to mine. "I love you." The kiss is soft but ends all too soon.

"I love you too.", I whisper while he leaves the room.

"Ana, here's my review of The Sugar Cube." Daniel hands me the typed out paper in his hand. "I enjoyed it although I'll probably get a scolding from my dentist because of the sweets I ate."

"Thanks Daniel." I look at the page and think back to Christian's ludicrous plan to have Daniel give Delish a bad review. I was halfway awake when he came to bed last night, but I didn't say anything to him. Our breakfast consisted of only small talk. First thing tonight though, I plan on a having a lengthy discussion with him.

"I'm going to get back to my desk, but if you have any questions, just let me know." As he opens the door, I see Mia standing outside it. "Mia, hey." Aside from the swollen eyes, she looks better than she did last night.

"Hi." She smiles at Daniel who closes the door on his way out. "I'm sure you're busy, but I needed to talk."

"It's fine. Have a seat. How are you today?" She shrugs and sits down.

"I'm still hurting like you said I would, but I also feel a little better. I saw Will.", she mutters. "Christian's going to be pissed when he finds out, but I needed to do it. I needed to find out why Will betrayed. I called and asked if he would meet me at Starbucks. He looked disheveled and sad which oddly made me feel a good."

"What did he have to say about his tryst?"

"He blamed it on stress. Apparently even though the restaurant is a big hit, he still feels pressure to keep it successful. A few nights ago, Caroline left him in charge of closing. He was about lock up when Rachel showed up. She claimed she was feeling weak and needed food."

"That sounds like fishy.", I say.

"He believed her and made her a club sandwich. As they started talking, he told her about the stress. I asked why he didn't tell me what was going on, and his excuse was that he didn't want to worry me. Talking to a stranger felt easier. Rachel made the first move by kissing him. She said she had the perfect way to make him feel better, but he passed. She still gave him her number."

"Christian and I both feel she set all of it up. She had to have known who Will was before she went in there. How did he go from no thank you to what happened at his place?"

"Yesterday morning, Caroline informed him that the assistant chef Brian was quitting after this week. That meant Will was going to be on his own until they could find a replacement which wasn't going to be easy. He said he a lapse in judgement and called Rachel with the intent of only talking. Once she got to his place, it escalated."

"His excuse is bullshit."

"That's along the lines of what I told him. He obviously didn't care about me as much as he said. If he had, he wouldn't have taken her number in the first place. How much plotting has Christian been doing?" I reach for the bottle of water I brought from home and take a long drink. "That bad, huh?"

"Your brother loves you and wants to protect you. I understand that. There has to be a barrier of what is and what's not taking it too far. He came up with this idea last night that in my opinion is taking it too far. He wants me to get Daniel to write a hurtful food review of Will's cooking. I told him no."

"Good for you. As much as I hate him right now, I don't want Will's career to take a hit, a fact that Christian would be upset about."

"I haven't said anything to Kate about what happened, and she hasn't mentioned it. I assume Elliot doesn't know yet."

"Nope. I'm going to tell him probably tonight when he comes over to bring Mom the table he built her."

"He built her a table?", I ask.

"It's a coffee table. I saw it in the early stages but haven't seen the final product. I'm afraid he'll want to retaliate against Will as well. As much as he hurt me, I just want to try and move forward. No good will come from seeking revenge. I should get going. Thanks Ana for listening."

"You're welcome. Anytime you need to talk, I'm here."

"Can you please not say anything to Kate until I've talked with Elliot?", she asks as she stands.

"My lips are sealed." I stand and move around the desk to hug her.

Instead of waiting for Christian to arrive home so we can talk, I asked Sawyer to drive me to GEH after I got off work. Christian sounded anxious to see me when I called to tell him I was on my way. He's waiting on me in the waiting area outside his office.

"Hi.", he says with a hint of shyness.

"Hey." I turn to Andrea who's busy with paperwork. "Hi Andrea."

"Mrs. Grey, hello." Christian hooks my arm in his and pulls me to his office.

"I'm glad you wanted to come by and talk.", he sighs after closing the door behind him. "I've been having a shitty day thanks to last night's argument. Of course finding out that Mia went and saw Will didn't make things easier. She called me after she left your office. I don't like that she went to see him, but I understand her reason." I sit and watch him pace the floor in front of me. "I shouldn't have suggested the idea of using the magazine to get back at Will. I was angry and just wanted to make things better. I hate that I brought it up."

"You were wanting to help your sister. I get that. You seemed to not care about the costs of doing the review."

"I didn't which is pathetic. I was your biggest supporter when you were trying to decide whether to take over Olivia's position, but I wanted to throw everything out the window. I'm sorry."

"Mr. Grey, you have a visitor.", Andrea says over the intercom.

"Tell whoever the fuck it is that I'm busy.", he snarls into the speaker.

"I did sir, but she said it's urgent." She? "Her name is Leila Williams."

"Just a second." He looks at me and tries to smile. "Reynolds hasn't said anything about her heading this way."

"Well, we might as we find out why she's here.", I shrug before standing. He kisses me and then goes to the door. On the other side is a brunette.

"Hello Christian.", she smiles at him. That smile seems to fade a little once she sees me. "Oh. Your assistant said you were busy, but I thought it was with work. I see it's with your wife. You must be Anastasia."

"Yes.", I reply.

"Leila, why are you here?", Christian asks.

"I wanted to see you. I'm going to guess the shock on your face is because you didn't know I was on my way here. Your security guy didn't alert you." Christian appears even more shocked. "Come on. I know how you operate. You've had someone watching my every move even when I was in New York. I can't say I blame you though. You're afraid I'm going to cause trouble. I wanted to come here and tell you I'm not. I had to sneak out of the hotel wearing a wig, but here I am. I'm so glad that I'm finally getting to meet Anastasia Grey, the woman who did the impossible. She got Christian Grey to do more. I'm not going to lie and say I'm not a tad envious of you. You got the guy who I was in love with or so I thought."

"You weren't?", I question her.

"I felt what I thought was love. It wasn't. What you two have...now that's the real thing. You've got this fairy tale life going on now.", she smirks. I get the sense she's not being truthful. "A wedding and now a baby. I'm sure Elena's cursing in hell. She called me not long before she died."

"Why?"

"She said she was sorry for being a bad friend to me and having me try to cause trouble for Christian during his New York trip. I assume you know about that."

"Yeah. What else did Elena have to say?"

"She only wanted the best for Christian, and she felt that I was it. I told her there was no way he was going to leave you and be with me."

"You're right.", Christian says. "Leila, why are you really back in Seattle?" She sits down on the sofa.

"I missed this city. Believe it or not, there's more to Seattle than Christian Grey. I've also embraced this seize the moment way of living. On the flight here, I met a guy, Timothy. He's so sweet and gentle. We connected immediately. There might have been some mile high action." Licking her lips, she looks at Christian a little too longer than I'd like. "After we arrived at the airport, we went to the Edgewater where we've been holed up getting to know each other better. I wanted to come here and tell you not to worry about me being in town. I'm not going to interfere with your lives."

"You're standing here saying that, but I don't know if I really believe you.", Christian tells her. "You've caused problems in the past."

"Can't we move on from the past? You seem to have done it. You're not the same guy who used to fuck me every which way in his playroom, right?"

"He's not.", I hiss at her.

"I was asking him." Her Miss Nice charade is starting to fade and making me want to slap the hell out of her. Be calm Ana.

"Like Ana said, I'm not the same guy. You've said all we need to hear. You can go now."

"Ok. It was nice seeing you again Christian, and Anastasia, it was a pleasure meeting you." She gets up and saunters out of the office.

"I don't believe her story.", I say.

"Me either which is why we need to keep our guard up and our eyes open."
