Today was the day of our, well my, doctors appointment, truly confirming the pregnancy and I was absolutely, incredibly nervous. What if the tests were wrong? What if I had told people and now it wasn't true. What if something was wrong? So many what ifs.

"Roza, stop bouncing around so much. You're going to cause the lady beside you early labour from your movement." Humour filled in his voice, and all I could do was return his teasing with ' the look'.

"I cant help it Comrade. Im so nervous right now, how are you so..soo.." I almost had the word.

"Calm?"

"YES! CALM! How!?" I gave him an incredulous look, and all I received was a beautiful laugh that swam around me, and a large hand grabbing my shaking one.

"I guess it was a quality I got to have from my mother" He gave me a smile and kissed my cheek as we sat in the waiting room. Children were everywhere, pregnant woman also everywhere. It was almost surreal that I was sitting here.

A buzzing sounded from beside me turning my thoughts towards Dimitri. A sigh escaped his lips before he reached into his pockets and pulled out his phone. One glimpse at his phone and his face turned into a scowl before roughly shoving his phone into his pocket.

Worry came over me watching him rub his face. "Everything alright there?" I asked concerned.

Yes..Well, no, but it'll be fine soon. Honestly people don't know when to stop." He told me, and then I had a feeling I knew what it was about. We couldn't really talk about it though because as soon as I opened my mouth to ask, well more like interrogate him, the nurse called my name.

"Rosemarie Belikova?" Standing up, I gave her a warm smile and she waved the two of us over to follow her.

"Right this way." She led us down a short hallway and into a spacious room. It had a bed in the far end of the room and ultra sound machines along the wall.

I unzipped my jacket and handed it to Dimitri to take a long with my purse and sat myself on the table/bed.

It wasn't too long before a woman knocked on the door and politely walked in introducing herself.

"Hello Mr and Mrs Belikov. My name is Dr. Odelenzki, I will be your doctor through your pregnancy." She gave a smile and took a seat on the stool beside my bed and one of the machines set up.

"Alright, so I am going to be doing the ultrasound, it will let us hear the babies heart beat and will give me a estimation on the growth of your baby. We will then know a rough estimation of your due date. Okay, just lie back and I will apply some gel to your stomach, it will be a bit cold so bare with me here." She gave me a reassuring smile and proceeded.

The gel was cold and sent a shiver up my spine, but Dimitri rubbing my shoulder kept me warm and feeling calm finally.

The doctor pressed the wand on my stomach and started to move it in small motions. And that's when it happened.

The most beautiful sound erupted from the machine, and the screen moved with the movement of the wand, pretty much showing off the inside of my uterus.

Hearing the quick beats brought tears to my eyes and my hands covered my mouth in clear shock.

Dr. Odelenzki smiled. " That sound is your baby' heart beat." She pointed to the screen, "right here, this little blob is actually your baby." I nodded not trusting my voice. A squeeze to my hand indicated that Dimitri was just as emotional as I was.

The doctors appointment pretty much ended after that, after she told me I was really only a few weeks along and my baby would be due around Christmas time. December 27 was the estimated date.

My upcoming year would involve me being a new mother, a new journey.

I was given a list of prenatal vitamins to take, a list on how I should eat and to watch what I eat. There was so much it was all overwhelming. I had to take a step back to breath.

We were also given a few ultrasound pictures, and I was busy gawking at them when Dimitri's phone went off on our ride to his office to drop him and then me at the house. Work was really busy and I guess they required his presence.

"Hello?" He asked almost unsure it seemed. Sensing his tension I looked up at gave him a questioning look. All he did was shut his phone angrily and shove it into his pocket.

"Whats wrong?" I asked laying my hand on his leg.

"Mia." And that's all he had to say for me get why he was so angry. Mia was the one person who I wouldn't doubt to keep coming back until she got what she wanted.

I had so many questions tickle my tongue, but I knew he was already upset and that I shouldn't be worried. So I dropped it, biting my tongue. But I swear, if she did anything else, the bitch was going to die.

As we pulled up to his office, Dimitri looked over at me with a shit eating grin and gave me the most passionate kiss out of no where, leaving me stunned and smiling like an idiot.

" Thank you my milaya. For everything." His eyes flashed to my stomach quickly and he took the ultra sound photo from my hands jokingly while getting out.

" Ill see you tonight. Be careful love." He told me shutting his door.

I waved as the car started away from the curb and sat back letting Stan drive me back home.

Being at home was not something I really wanted to do. I was bored, I needed something to do. So I decided to take a walk from the house to a small coffee shop close by. With my earphones in I took the twenty minute walk letting my mind wander and think about everything that was happening and what to look forward to.

I didn't even know the gender yet, but I was thinking of names. I couldn't even help it. That's all I could think about pretty much, but I didn't mind.

Arriving at the shop, I walked in pulling my earbuds out and going up to the counter ready to order something.

"Hi, Could I just get a large mint tea with a chocolate chip cookie." The girl nodded and I handed over the money to her.

As I stood there waiting for my tea, I looked around at the cozy interior of the place. I loved this little shop and it was the one place I knew where to get coffee and snacks from when we first moved into our home.

"Large mint tea" The girl called out, and happily I took it, taking a sip of it right away, careful not to burn my tongue, which I didn't really succeed in. But non the less it still tasted really good.

Turning around I started to head out when all of a sudden, someone bumped into me, sending me flying. I mean I wasn't tiny but I wasn't heavy so when someone thought they should bump into me I wasn't going to stay balanced.

Tumbling sideways, I ended up flinging my tea, and that's when strong arms caught me before I could hit the ground and surprisingly his arm shot out and grabbed the tea that would have gone straight for a table full of ladies. Looking up I was startled to see piercing green eyes staring at me.

Standing myself up straight an pulling away from the strangers arms, he gave me a quirky smile and held his arm extending my tea to me. Politely I took the cup from his hand and he shoved his hands into his pockets lazily.

"Sorry to bump into you like that, I wasn't paying attention." He told me while I couldn't help but stare at his gorgeous ness.

"No, I'm sorry too, I probably wasn't paying attention either." I didn't know why I was apologizing, clearly it had been his fault.

He gave a small laugh and extended his hand out once more. " My name is Adrian, Adrian Ivashkov. It is nice to bump into you ms…." He trailed off, pretty much asking for my name. I cleared my throat.

"Rose, Rose Belikov." I took his hand and ever so delicately he brought my hand to his lips and kissed the back of it. And for a moment I thought I saw surprise flash through his eyes. But I had seen it now it was gone.

"Well, Ms Rose. Do you mind if I replace your tea, I mean half of it did end up on the floor, and the top of a drink is always the best. I don't mind buying you another, I am at fault here." He told me giving me a grin.

This man was attractive. Not like Dimitri, but he was still really good looking to see. And he had this oddness about him that was unique. Very artistic.

I smiled and thought that maybe I could make another friend here. " I would enjoy that a lot." I told him as he lead me back to the cash register. I could already tell he was a flirt, as soon as the line " Did it hurt when you fell from heaven " Landed out of his mouth. Not even into five minutes meeting him and already the cheese lines came. But it was actually almost refreshing and exciting.

ALRIGHTY I AM SO SORRY FOR DISSAPEARING! I have plans and this is a filler chapter so hopefully it wasn't too bad considering it didn't take me too long. I just had my birthday yesterday so I have been busy! Aha. Alright remember to read and REVIEW!
