A/N: Thanks for reading. Enjoy!

"Let me show you what we've got lined up." Olivia stands next to my desk as I open the mock layout for the magazine's next issue. I point to the section set aside for Kate's marathon article. "Kate was able to get a rough draft of her article, and while it needs more work, I've got a feeling it's going to be great."

"It's only Tuesday, and she already has a rough draft? I'm impressed.", Olivia says.

"Since Ethan felt bad for not being able to help her move, he went over on Sunday and helped with the unpacking of things. That allowed Kate to have more time to work on her article. Plus, she spent most of yesterday morning on it before showing it to me. She even noted how the magazine's restaurant reviewer Daniel place fourth."

"Something tells me she didn't mention having to buy his lunch."

"You're correct.", I giggle.

"I have no doubt this issue will be amazing as usual. Did your dad go back home yesterday?", she asks while I close the layout.

"Yeah. His visit was nice. I enjoyed having him here. Sometimes I wish he would move to Seattle to give us more time together."

"I see your point, but he also has a good life in Seattle. I'm sure Rebecca would miss him if he were to move here?" I sigh and shake my head. "Did something happen with them?"

"They broke up. According to my dad, it was mutual, and he's fine with it." Olivia's brows go up. "What?"

"I may be out of line by asking you this, but I'm going to go ahead and do it. With your mom and dad both now single, do you wonder about them getting back together?", she asks. Olivia's question is one I've wondered about myself.

"When I was younger and my parents split up, I secretly hoped a day would come where they'd reunite. Our family would be back together and happier than ever. Then, I got older and started seeing that life isn't perfect. My parents' relationship has been better post-divorce. They're the best of friends."

"There aren't many divorced people who can say that. My aunt and her husband were married for twenty years until he came home a few months ago and asked for a divorce. It was completely out of the blue. She wanted to stay civil with him, but something inside of him changed. It was almost as if he was a different person. Forward to last week when she saw him out on a date with a woman who's twenty years younger than him. He literally whistled for my aunt to come over to his table. I would have slapped the hell out of him, but she stayed mum. At the table, he introduced her to his girlfriend who's going to be his wife once the divorce is final."

"What a jerk! Your aunt is much better off without him.", I say. I've never met Olivia's aunt, but she didn't deserve to have her soon to be ex flash his new lover in front of her.

"I couldn't agree more. My aunt put on her poker face and left with her head held high. When she got home, she grabbed the prized baseball collection he had left behind. Thanks to some lighter fluid and matches, she ended up feeling a little better."

"That'll teach him."

"I don't see a friendship happening with them.", she laughs as she stands. "I've got to get back upstairs. If you need anything, remember..."

"You're just a phone call and elevator ride away.", I nod. "Thanks Olivia."

"Now that you've got the kitchen plan set, you're going to need some accessories.", Mia says as she and I enter Bed Bath and Beyond. "You're in luck because I happen to be an expert in choosing spoons and plates."

"Mia, when you suggested we come here, I thought you were wanting to buy for you. Christian and I already have dinnerware and everything else we need for the kitchen."

"No. I had you in mind when I asked. Although I've bought many pieces of dinnerware for engaged friends, I don't need any for myself at this moment. I might be needing some in the future though." She grabs a shopping cart and starts leading us through the store until we come to the coffee makers. "I need a new coffee maker."

"Don't Carrick and Grace already have one?", I ask.

"Yes, but Dad's switched to this new coffee that's not good at all. I figure if we have two coffee makers, I can make my favorite coffee in one while he makes his in the other."

"Does Nicholas drink coffee?", I smirk. Mia stops browsing and gets red in the face.

"He does.", she answers. "What did Christian say about Nicholas?"

"Only that he seems like an ok guy. He did say that he's holding off on giving his full aprroval."

"I undertand. Christian is only looking out for me. I pretty much got the same answer from Elliot when I talked to him earlier today. I called to see how the new living arrangement is going, and he said better than he could've hoped for. I, myself, am a far way from living with anyone else, but I've been kind of considering moving out on my own."

"Ah, so now we get the real reason why we're shopping for kitchen items.", I sigh. Mia decides on a simple coffee maker and places it in the cart. "I think it's great."

"Really?", she asks in almost shock.

"Mia, you know I support you in whatever. If it's something you really want to do, go for it. Have you told your parents?"

"I told them that I'm thinking about it, but I haven't made my mind up yet. I just feel it's time for me to get out and support myself. I see Christian and Elliot flourishing in their lives, and I want that as well. Dad even said he'd help me find a place if and when I decided. He wants to make sure I don't move into a dump. I take my time when buying just shoes so I'm not going to leap into anything without inspecting and making sure it's up to par."

"Which is a good thing. The last thing you need is to sign a lease on a run down place."

"Mom for her part has offered to help me decorate. I am indeed looking at things today for my possible move, but like I said, nothing is definite. The coffee maker is truly for the reason I said."

We move to a display of coffee cups with different phrases. I browse through them until I find the perfect one for Christian. One side of the cup has the words, "New Dad" while the other side has, "I'm Not Sleeping. I'm Just Resting My Eyes."

"That is definitely a Christian Grey coffee cup.", Mia laughs. "You and I both know my stubborn brother won't admit to being tired the least bit tired once Oliver arrives. He'll be fighting sleep."

"Are you nervous about labor?", Mia asks. "I've heard of women practically ripping their husbands' arms off during the pain."

"It might be odd, but I'm not worried about the pain. I've already made it known that I want a completely natural birth. I don't want anything whatsoever for the pain."

"How did shopping go with Mia?", Christian asks. He places a straw in the chocolate milkshake he's just finished making in the blender. With pride in his eyes, he walks over to the table and hands me the glass.

"Thank you. Shopping went well. Mia's thinking about moving out on her own." Christian grabs his shake from the counter and sits down across from me.

"Could the timing be connected to Nicholas?"

"I don't think that's why she wants to do it. She just wants to be more independent. Your parents are in full support of her."

"I suppose her getting out on her own isn't a bad thing.", he sighs while noticing the bag in the chair next to the doorway. "I saw you holding on to that bag earlier as if it's important. May I ask what's in it?" I happily nod and get up to get the bag.

"It's for you. I was going to give it to you earlier but saw you staring at it so I thought I'd make you wait. Here you go."

"Ana, Ana, Ana, what am I going to do with you.", he smirks, taking the bag from my hands. He opens the bag and pulls out the wrapped box that's inside it. "You're not making this easy, are you?" After carefully tearing away the paper and opening the box, he smiles and pulls out the coffee cup. "This is great."

"Do you like it?"

"Baby, I love it. Thank you."

"Both Mia and I felt it was perfect for you.", I shrug.

"I can't wait to have sleepless night.", he winks.

"Mr. Grey, you're in for many, many sleepless nights."
