Sorry for the wait! Thanks to CressidaRene for the idea of this chapter! I've already starting writing he next one so it should get posted a lot faster! I don't own Fma.
Enjoy!
Two young brothers were kneeled on the ground. The younger of the two screamed and disappeared into a large black gate. Blood covered the stone floor in scarlet puddles. The blue lights of alchemy flickered around the surviving child. His golden eye filled with pain as he dipped his fingertips into the scarlet pool, drawing on the inside of the armor.
"Give him back!" The young alchemist yelled slamming his palms down on a suit of armor.
Another bright flash illuminated his world and then everything went black.
Ed started away, his eyes brimming with fear and panic. His fur was puffed up and his muscles stiff.
"You ok?"
Ed looked up and finally realized what was actually happening. He was sitting on a bench beside Mustang, the rolling hills that had surrounded then before where blocked out by the houses of the small town they must have stopped in. The scent of food washed over his senses and his stomach growled with longing. Ed looked up at Mustang questioningly.
"Here," Mustang held out a cooked fish "I knew you'd be hungry."
"Thanks..." The colonel was being strangely considerate, Ed thought as he took the fish, finishing the meal in a few famished bites.
"Looks like you're getting the hang of eating like a cat." Mustang mused, looking down at Ed "At least you won't be hungry."
Ed looked down at his paws and sat in silence. He looked up at Mustang and froze, on his face was the most evil and scheming look he'd ever seen. The bastard was looking Ed up and down as if sizing up how much of a fight Ed would put up.
"So... Fullmetal, about your wounds,"
Ed lunged forward before he could finish, he already knew what was coming and he didn't like it.
Roy grabbed the flying cat before he could land and flee, he obviously, was already expecting this from the young alchemist.
"Now, now" he chuckled "We don't want you making those wounds worse now do we?"
"No!" Ed yowled, paws flailing for a paw hold "I'll never go!"
All of this was in vain, the darkness of Roy's evil aura surrounded Ed as he was drug away from the bench.
"Edward!" A tall lady walked up to Roy and Edward, her hair was up in a tight bun and a white coat was draped on her shoulders "Come with me."
Roy stood up and picked up the crate beside his feet. Inside was a spitting and very very irritated cat. It had been hard enough getting the feisty young alchemist in the crate after Roy had said where they were going.
"Let me out of here!" He snapped "I'll claw off you face!" The crate shuttered in his grasp as Ed threw himself against the side.
"Edward!" Roy hissed "I don't care about your phobia, this technically isn't the doctors."
"A vet a doctor, same thing!"
"Your injury will just get worse." Roy reasoned "It's best to get it taken care of now."
Ed huffed and quieted down.
They entered a small room with a few seats and a long table. On the counters sat many medical toys and a small sink was in the corner at the foot of the table. The scent of cleaning supplies filled the air as soon as they entered, in the crate Roy could feel Ed moving around, desperately clawing at the walls. He wouldn't admit it but Roy knew that he was nervous. Roy sat down on one of the chairs, despite how they looked he still had to shift around until he was comfortable.
"Can I see the cat?" the vet asked, her cold gaze rested on the crate "We will now start." She looked at Roy and scowled "Thanks you for bringing him in," she started "I believe having their owners in the same room makes the animals tense so could you please wait in the lounge."
Roy raised an eyebrow skeptically. Honestly, the sounded like a load of crap. Another look at the vet gave him his answer, he HAD to leave.
"alright." He said, a scowl crossing his face, he quickly covered it with a smile "See you later Ed." He gave the now very panicked cat a small wave.
What happened next, the vet was not expecting. As soon as Roy had seated himself in one of the uncomfortable lounge chairs a loud crash sounded from the room he had left just moments before.
Glancing down the hall he saw a few more working streaming into the room.
"I hope nothing happens..." Roy muttered, leaning back against the seat hands behind his head "I don't want the vet to be hurt too badly."
After thirty minutes of absolute chaos Ed was brought out of the room. He was limply hanging from the vets arms.
She looked tired, her hair was no longer in the neat and tidy bun and there were plenty of scratched across her face and arms "We had to sedate your demon, I mean cute, cat." She shoved the sleeping cat into Roy's arms "Please leave." She snipped, turning to leave, swiftly making her way away. It was like she was afraid Ed would suddenly wake up and continue his rampage.
Sorry for short chapter! I wanted to get it on as soon as possible, so there are probably quite a few errors. Anyways, please review! Reviews are one of the best things to can give a writer.
