In an instant, Naya was at least 20 feet away, looking at me with the most troubling facial expression; betrayal. She stared at me as if I had done the unthinkable, which I probably had done if I think about it.
"W-what?" I watched as her eyes became teary.
I stood up as fast as I could and made my way to my beautiful girl, my hands wrapping themselves around her rosy cheeks. I laughed lightly.
"I'm so surprised...I'm sorry at my reaction sweetie, I truly just spit out a no because of my disbelief. I would love nothing more but to be your girlfriend Naya, did you really think that no would actually be a possibility?" I shook my head in embarrassment.
In a span of seconds, I watched her sad face morph into the cutest beauty I had ever seen. This smile, this face was my biggest reason to live, my biggest high and I knew that this woman, without a doubt, would make me the happiest for the rest of my life.
"Are you serious? Is this reality?"
I nodded with a giddy smile before being thrown onto the bed with my girlfriend holding me tightly with her face hidden in my neck, her breath causing goosebumps to erupt all over my skin. It was possibly one of the best feelings a human being can feel, being held in a lovely embrace by someone who means the world to them. My badass Naya was such a sap and it made me feel ridiculously happy that she trusted me enough to show me this side of her, a side I'm sure not many people got to see. Obviously, she had a reputation to uphold.
I felt so safe and loved in that embrace, in an embrace I remember dreaming about for so long yet never thinking it could ever become reality.
She let go of me before placing her each forearm near my face and hovering over me with a goofy smile on her face, her eyes looking glossy and full of emotion. The view was absolutely breathtaking. She smiled again before snuggling into my neck once more, whispering how happy she is right now. That made my heart swell at the confession. I slowly tangled my fingers in her soft hair and massaged her scalp, feeling her sigh in content against me.
"I wish we could stay like this forever babe," she told me.
"Mmm, that would sound dreamy," I whispered in her ears.
"I honestly am having trouble believing this is really happening, that you're actually my girlfriend. How did I get so lucky?" she voiced.
"I could ask myself the same love, I never in a million years would've thought this could be a reality I can experience. I watched you from afar for so long, that now that you're in my arms, it feels unreal."
"Mmmm, this is so much better than dreams babe, and it's only the beginning," she told me before planting a quick peck on my neck and sitting up.
"Come on, there's dessert and I want to watch a movie and cuddle with my girlfriend," she told me with a wide grin.
She didn't have to tell me twice.
A few minutes later, we were snuggled on the bed with Castle playing on the screen, sharing a bunch of mini-Kit-kats, m&ms and kisses. And actual kisses too, here and there before we both couldn't get enough of each other.
A few hours later, I woke up suffocating as I found myself completely tangled under Naya, more than half her body was on top of mine, her head was in the crook of my neck and she was holding me with both arms. Sure, I was super warm, but my heart swelled at the sight of my beauty sleeping so deeply. That woman was so ridiculously adorable, although she would never admit it. Aww, my little badass. I cuddled back into her and went to sleep, seeing as it was only 4am.
A couple of hours later, I woke up to an empty bed and instantly felt cold. As I tossed and turned to make myself comfortable again, I smelled coffee and pancakes, so let's just say that was enough to make me get up. I was a hungry morning monster right now and I knew where to find my little cuddle bear.
I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth before going to look for Naya, obviously finding her in the kitchen. She was wearing booty shorts, a pink tank top, her hair was in a messy un at the top of her head and she was barefoot. And this was my favorite view of all. She looked incredible.
I snuck my way inside the kitchen and wrapped my arms around her waist, savouring the feel of having her flush against me in the purest way. She smelled like a baby and her skin was so warm. I couldn't understand how she was human. She hummed before pressing herself back on me and continued working on the pancakes that smelled amazing.
"Morning babe," she told me before turning quickly to kiss me on the cheek.
"Mmm hi cutie, how did you sleep?" I asked.
"Ugh, perfect sleep. I don't think I'll be able to sleep alone anymore," she joked.
"Hahah that makes two of us, you're the best cuddle-buddy ever," I told her before hugging her tighter.
"You're so cute Cass, now come on, get your cute little ass on that stool, food's ready," she joked.
"Aye Aye Capt'ain."
We ate in silence, although I kinda kept moaning at the deliciousness of the food. Turns out Naya was an excellent cook and that was just one more surprising thing about her. After eating, we cleaned up around us before making our way to the roof.
"Naya?" I whispered.
"Mm, yes love?" she answered.
"Why do you like me?" I asked in a vulnerable tone, a tone I hated.
Naya looked at me with a loving glance before concentrating on the view in front of us.
"There are so many reasons why I like you Cass, like how you're so kind and caring, despite the fact that someone might not necessarily be kind and caring towards you, you are dedicated and hardworking, you don't give up, you have the cutest face and a golden heart and honestly, I don't think somebody being this kind and amazing even existed. You're so strong and just, I really like you for so many reasons Cass, you shouldn't doubt how incredible you are," she poured out before turning her face and softly kissing me with all her might.
I truly couldn't wait to see what our future held, but what I did know, was that I was completely head over heels for that woman and we had only begun dating.
