A/N: Hi everyone! I'm sorry this update didn't come sooner, but I've been working on other stories as well as been busy in real life. I'm a happily ever after girl who likes to toss in some drama here and there. I feel Ana and Christian are close to their HEA in this story which is why I've decided to end it after the next chapter, the epilogue. It's a decision I've wrangled over. My stories are pieces of me, and posting the last chapter feels like saying goodbye to a friend. It's bittersweet, but I feel the time is right. I want to thank everyone for their support. Many of you have been with me not only from the start of this story but from the beginning of my fan fiction writing. Your support means the world to me. Here's the last regular chapter.

"I could've sworn I saw the birthday boy make his way in here." Christian scopes out the living room before finally locating Oliver who's sitting next to me on the sofa. "There's the birthday boy."

"He wanted to spend some time with Mommy.", I giggle. The past few weeks around our house have been filled with nothing but happiness and memories. It was following dinner two weeks ago that Oliver took his first steps. He had been standing and acting like he wanted to walk but kept falling. Christian and I were watching him play when the big moment took place. My already out of control emotions went downhill at the sight of our baby boy walking. Christian didn't even try to hide his tears. He wept openly for the longest. Today another milestone is taking place, Oliver's first birthday. Our family and friends are coming over later to celebrate with a Mickey Mouse party.

"How about some time with Daddy too?", Christian asks with a fake pout. He settles on the other side of OIiver and kisses the top of his head. "This time a year ago we were getting ready to welcome you into the world." Christian's eyes go from Oliver and on to me. "I remember looking at that sweet face for the first time. I told myself I was going to protect and nurture him with every fiber in my body."

"And you've done that. You're the most amazing dad to Oliver and will be to our little princess." I rub my stomach and sniffle as my phone rings from the table next to the sofa. "It's my dad.", I say. "Hey Dad."

"Hi. Your mom and I are going to grab some lunch, and we'll at your house afterwards."

"Ok, but I don't want you guys to rush with your lunch. Take your time and enjoy yourselves."

"We will.", my mom says, joining the conversation. "What's the birthday boy doing now?"

"He's resting up for his party. I'm going wait as long as possible to put his party outfit on." Oliver's going to be wearing a white bodysuit that has printed on suspenders along with a tie that has a one and the Mickey Mouse symbol. The rest of the outfit is a pair of red shorts that also have a one and the Mickey Mouse symbol. "He has a tendency to get things on his clothes.", I laugh. Oliver peers around Christian and grins at me. "And now he knows I'm talking about him."

"Give him kisses and hugs and tell him we'll see him at the party.", my dad tells me.

"I will."

"My, my, my, Mrs. Grey, you're looking stunning.", Christian smirks. He's leaning against the wall of the bedroom while I get ready for the party. He pushes himself off and stalks towards me. I'm wearing a red tee shirt that has a picture of Mickey Mouse on the front. Not one to be left out, Christian's wearing a black tee shirt which has Mickey Mouse on the front.

"Thank you. I must say you look pretty handsome in that shirt."

"There was once a time I wouldn't even consider wearing a shirt like that, but marriage and fatherhood has changed me. I might even wear this shirt to work one day." I close the gap between us and wrap my arms around his neck. "How are my girls feeling?"

"We're feeling great and ready to party. I hope Oliver's going to be rested enough from his nap."

"I'm sure he is. He's probably going to be wired especially after getting hold of his cake. Even though he cake looks wonderful, I can't wait to see him smash his little hands into it." Christian's full of giddiness.

"Maybe I should get you a smash cake for your birthday."

"That would be awesome.", he laughs. "I've got all the decorations up, and Mia and Nicholas are on their way with the food." Despite us telling Mia we could do the food, she insisted on bringing finger sandwiches, dip, and a fruit platter. "The rest of the guests won't be here for a while if you want to rest a while."

"I'm too excited to rest.", I reply, hearing the door bell. "Go get the door, and I'll get Oliver up and dressed."

"Ana, thank you for inviting us.", Olivia says. She and I are standing in the living room while watching Sawyer who's holding baby Joshua close to his chest.

"We wouldn't dream of not inviting you guys. How are things going with the new arrival?"

"Perfect. Joshua only really fusses when he's hungry, sleepy, or in need of a new diaper."

"Or when he wants his mommy and daddy to hold him.", Sawyer grins. The baby's pinky finger is latched on to Sawyer's index finger. "Do you see that?"

"I do.", I answer. "You're both wonderful parents."

"We were both fortunate to have amazing parents who showed us how to be awesome parents.", Olivia says. "We've also been lucky to have friends who have taught us a thing or two." She raises her brow at me and takes a drink of her punch. "So...when are we going to find out whether the new baby is a boy or a girl?" I look past her and at Christian who seems to be getting asked the same question because he shakes his head and mouths "Be strong" to me. There have been moments where I've been tempted to reveal the gender, but I've shook it off and remained strong.

"You'll find out when the baby comes just like everyone else, myself and Christian included."

"Ana, you've been telling everyone that you and Christian don't know the baby's gender, but I don't believe you.", Audrey sighs as she and Daniel join us.

"I'm with Audrey. You and Christian already know but aren't telling, and that's cool.", Daniel shrugs. Audrey softly elbows him. "Babe, we're all close, but that doesn't mean we have to share every single detail with one another. Sometimes it's nice to have secrets between just two people."

"I suppose you've got a point." Christian picks up Oliver and pads over to us.

"I'm sorry for interrupting the interrogation, but Ana, it's time for the cake.", Christian says. I take his free hand and walk with him to the front of the living room. "Your attention please. Ana and I along with Oliver would once again like to thank all of you for being here today. Each of you are an integral part of Oliver's life, and seeing your faces makes today all the more special. Please follow us to the dining room where we'll get started with the cake." Christian and I lead the way for our guests. Christian places Oliver in his high chair while Gail brings the smash cake into the room. She sets it down in front of Oliver who immediately shoves his hands into it.

"Little dude, we didn't get a chance to sing happy birthday to you.", Elliot laughs.

"I think he knows how you sing, and that's why he went ahead.", Mia teases. "Ana, Christian, stand next to Oliver so I can get a picture." Christian moves to Oliver's left while I get on his right. "Smile." On cue, the three of us give our biggest smiles at the camera. From where I stand, I have a view of all of our loved ones. Thankfully my tears start falling after the photo is taken. Our parents hurry over and start bombading us with hugs.

"It's been a wonderful party.", Carrick says.

"It sure has.", my dad adds. He folds his arms and stares at Christian's shirt. "I might have to get one of those shirts."

"You'd be very handsome in it.", my mom tells him. "How about I serve some cake?"

"Mom, you don't have to do that.", I reply while sitting down at the table.

"I'm aware I don't have to, but I want to." She grabs a plate and picks up the knife. "How big of a piece would you like?"

"Just a small one." She's about to start cutting until I stop her. "Hold on. Maybe a wee bit larger piece." She nods and cuts a fairly large piece of cake. "Thank you."

"Oliver, I bet your brother or sister is loving that cake.", Grace giggles.

"I need to get the streamers down.", Christian murmurs. The party ended about an hour ago, and we're resting on the sofa while Oliver plays in the floor with a balloon.

"Just leave them up until tomorrow. You've been going all day and need to relax."

"Yes, but I'm not the one who's pregnant. Oliver, did you have fun at your party?" Oliver answers by tossing the balloon at Christian and then laughing. "I'll take that as a yes."

"Today was a great day.", I sigh.

"Another great day in our amazing lives."
