I was warned for being late in updating stories. I'm very sorry. My works loaded lately and I couldn't even have time for myself. I just write a little before I go to sleep, almost every night. hehe.

After writing this, I realized that this still has long way to go. I hope you'll be patience till the ending. Also please be patience waiting for the updates.

After the warn the other day, I tried to update at least one short chapter.

Thank you for your support. I mean it.

p/s: I didn't own Fairy Tail.

I guessed what happened with the animal-soul feeder – even though I didn't exactly remember what happened – had made Mira-nee no longer forces me to join any team during missions. I am fully allowed to go on missions alone. It is a success for me, I guess. On the good side, I don't have to watch Natsu being so close, so care about Lucy. I realized it's a one-sided love. So currently I'm doing great alone. Some people realized that I – at most times – avoiding Natsu. I couldn't deny it. It is really hurt when you love your best friend, but he doesn't feel the same.

"Oi, Lisanna!" I quickly turn around.

I see Laxus-san with his growling face. I love him, as a brother. A second brother. We knew each other for so long – like we're growing up together. Although he didn't spend most of his time at the guild.

I almost forgot that I was asked to bring him his lunch. I just feel a little lonely, that even when I look over the guild, I still couldn't find what make me feel that way.

I sit next to him as he started eating. I stare at him.

"You lost something here, girl?"

I smile. I lean against the sofa. Sofa is only available at the second floor. And that's where Laxus always been. And that's also why everyone rarely going up to second floor. Except to meet Master, or to check on S-class mission.

"I think I stay here for a while. Mira-nee won't find me here," I answer his question.

"I heard what happened with your last mission," he says.

"What do you think about it?" I ask him back, adjust my body facing him.

"You weak." He doesn't even glance at me.

I can only smile. I can't deny, and I couldn't agree more. He is completely right.

"They weak too," he adds. "They hardly realized that they left someone behind."

I nervously grin. I heard it from Lucy and Erza. They apologized for their carelessness.

Suddenly Laxus turns his body to me and stares into my eyes. He makes me nervous. His brows rose slowly.

"I also heard that a stranger was the one ran back to save you."

He leans closer.

"Oh, really?" I can only chuckle, to hide my nervousness. "I heard nothing of it."

"And that stranger was Sabertooth mage," he adds.

"And~?" I can't read what actually going on his mind.

"Why exactly he ran back to save you, rather than telling anyone about it?"

I heard that version of story from Erza, but I don't know the real truth.

"Well, I don't know. I was the victim, remember? And I hardly recalled what happened during the mission."

Laxus-san returns to his plate. I hope he's not going to ask any more question.

"Laxus-san~ can I follow you on mission. Just once," I plead.

"No. I don't bring weakling with me. You'll be a nuisance."I snort to his answer. I stand up and leave.

Even though Mira-nee will never stop me from going on missions alone, but I think I'll be lonely. After lost in Edolas for two years and came back, everything is different. Maybe I'm trying to make up all the time I've lost. Just that I'll never have Natsu again.

I've rested for about two weeks, now I'm ready for action! Just that Mira-nee and Elf-niichan will check which kind of mission I'll take. They have to make sure that the mission I take will never bring me harm and no fights required.

However, after all my suggestions rejected, I let them choose.

"Here." Elf-niichan shows me a request paper. Mira-nee stood next to him smilingly agrees. I take a little time to read.

"Rearrange a library?! That's Levy-chan's job!" I shout, earn the guild's attention.

"This is the safest job. You won't get hurt by just arranging some books."

"Can you imagine a library? There are a lot of books! And I hate books!" I try to convince them for another mission.

"No, this is the best for you." Mira-nee has made her decision.

"Mira-nee, what if the books fall on me? What if the shelves – the tall bookshelves full of books – suddenly fall on me?"

Mira-nee seemingly to eat my bait. She was walking back into the kitchen, but then she turns around. She's thinking.

"You could be hurt from paper cuts!" She generates another idea. "Oh my god…"

Oh. My. God.

"I take this mission!"

I quickly run out of the guild. If I wait longer, I'll end at the guild for all my life.

AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!

I could not stand this anymore! Books, books, all are books! I see nothing but books! This owner is crazier than Levy-chan.

I regretted my decision for taking this job. My client, the owner of this library, told me that she has a small library. I just need to arrange the books onto the shelves. I'll be finish before night fall. She said it. But she lied!

This is not SMALL library. This is huge! And the books…I don't think this library can hold all the books.

I want to go home. I'd rather stay at the guild all my life, than living in this hell of books. Just looking at those alphabets making me dizzy!Still, I have to finish this job. Or this hell will never end. Go, Lisanna!

She started splitting the books into genres. Fictions, non-fictions, and more. There were more than ten genres. Then she split each genre in alphabetical order. It took her whole day to just finish the two tasks.

Lisanna fell spread on the floor. She sighed for the thousandth time on that day.

"Hello?"

A voice disturbed her from her job. She shot up, searching for the voice's owner. Then she saw a young man with short blonde hair from behind the piling of books.

"You?" She knew the young man, who was suddenly appeared in her room. "What are you doing here?" she asked. "Are you following me?"

The man snorted. He showed her a book in his hand.

"I came to return this. But I didn't see the library's owner. Where is she?" he asked.

Lisanna shrugged. She returned to her book-arranging job.

"What are you doing here?" he asked again. He sat on the stairs that led down to where she was working.

"As you can see, I'm arranging books," she answered.

"That will take forever," he said. She unconsciously nodded. "Need some help?"

She instantly turned to him. Accidentally, she hit one of the piling-high-books. But she managed to escape before the books fall on her.

"Watch out!"

Unfortunately, she hit another piles, made all the books fell onto the floor. It happened too fast that the dragon slayer was unable to do anything.

"Lisanna!" he screamed.

He didn't see her anywhere. He tried to dig the books that fell on top of each other. Luckily, the shelves didn't fall. Sudden movement of some books made him quickly dig the spot.

"You alright?" he asked, as pulled her out of the books.

She nodded weakly.

"Yes, I think so." She clung to his body, rested her head on his shoulder. "I really hate books."

"Are you sure you're alright?" he asked again.

No reply from the girl. She didn't move either.

"Shit."

He carefully lifted her body and walked down the books' mountain. Then he slowly put her on the floor. He placed a few books beneath her head.
