I wish they would go back together.

When I open my eyes, I see the ceiling way up above. My head hurt. I see books around me. I am still in the library. And it doesn't make me happy. I remember the books fell on me. I thought I was going to die.
When I stand up to continue my work, I realize I'm not alone. And he had started and already finished quarter of it. I could feel my jaw drops when I see books on a few shelves. It makes me realized it almost the end of the day.
He jumps down the ladder when he sees me down on the floor.
"How are you feeling?" he asks.
"Who are you?"
That is the only thing that I could think at the moment. I saw him twice – including this meeting – but I think there was more. He looks very familiar. Very.
He doesn't answer me. He just stands up and walks to the door. He is leaving.
"Wait, you're going to leave me alone? With these books?"
I become panic when he was leaving.
"It's your job, not mine. I just came here to return a book."
He got a point.
"You work fast. I don't think I can stay longer. These books drive me crazy!"
"You better start now then."
"Can you help me? Two is better than one."
I hope he would say 'yes', but…
"It's your job. Not mine," he repeats.
"50 – 50."
I offer him half of my reward. Please, say yes!
Still, he ignores me and walks to the door. I quickly block his way out.
"You can have all of it. I will not take any. Just help me finish it."
For the first time I see him smile. Technically, it is a smirk. Its okay, he agrees to help me.

She doesn't change. Even though she doesn't remember me, she didn't change. She still talks a lot. Her happy tones never changed. I bet she knew I didn't hear her. I just 'hmm'ed when she repeated the question.
"Hey, what was your name again?"
That question does surprise me. I think told her once, and she still didn't remember.
"Why?"
Since we're not going to be friends again, why should I bother give her my name?
"Nothing."
Then she talks again. Something I don't quite understand. Seems she doesn't care if I ever listen.
It is dawn when we finished arranging the books on the shelves. I could see her grinning once she put the last book on the shelf. She looks very please and happy.
"Finally!" She screams out loud.
If she didn't even remember my name, I'm sure she didn't remember that I am a dragon slayer. Suddenly she grabs my arm. I try to act cool, but truthfully she makes me shivers.
"Thank you very much, for taking me out of this hellhole."
Her eyes grow bigger; and she smiles. She leans closer to me. Makes me almost lose my control. But then she sits on the floor. I finally breathe. Damn, if she gets even closer, I bet I kiss her.
Things get awkward when we have nothing to do. I sit next to her. And weirder, when she keeps staring at me. I can feel the back of my neck starts to sweat. And my face becomes warm. I pray it won't go red.
"Are you … Sabertooth's mage?"
At first thought, I think her memory returns. But that's not the case.
"I just wanted to confirm, 'cos I didn't really remember Sabertooth's mark. And that looks much like a sabertooth." She points at my guild mark on my shoulder.
"Why? Sabertooth is a powerful and famous guild. It's impossible to not recognize Sabertooth's mark."
Actually, I ask the wrong question. Because she will answer it sincerely.
"I was trapped in Tenrou Island for seven years. And even if Sabertooth existed before that, it was not long before I returned from Edolas. And gone for two years. That'd make me gone for…" she counts her fingers. "… nine years." She turns to me with confusing face. "A lot of things could happen in nine years ago. And nine years ago, you are about…" she touches my head. "… eight? Seven?"
"It was ten!" I bark.
But she giggles. I don't know what makes her so relax.
"I'm older that you. You should call me nee-san."
It's like a déjà vu. She told me once, but I ended up kissed her. I cannot stay with her longer. She makes me very comfortable.
"Got to go."
She stands up with me, with the surprised look on her face.
"Hey, I thought we're going to wait till morning and go get the reward."
She follows me, pulling my arms, stopping me from leaving.
"You can have it all. I'm tired and I need to sleep. You can wait here if you want." She keeps pulling my arms. "And, don't follow me." I warn her.
She is stubborn. She keeps annoys me; and while we climb the stairs, she suddenly trips and almost falling off of it. Luckily I manage to catch her. And she really gets on my nerves.
"Can't you walk properly? That's why you always sprain your ankle!"
She startles enough to speak. Maybe I went overboard. Because the next thing I knew, I kiss her. Told you! I cannot stay close with her! She makes me lose my control.
"You cannot kiss your sister."
"I heard it before."
I don't know what I'm doing and I don't even know what I'm saying. The next thing I knew, I already did it.
Suddenly she falls on the floor. She makes me worry all the time. For nothing.
"I'm starving. It makes me dizzy."
I take her onto my back and carry her out of the library. Then, we stop at a stall. She doesn't eat much. She doesn't even finish her small bowl of ramen. I wonder what's wrong.
Then, I take her to where I stay. She fasts asleep as I put her on the bed. I hope she'll be alright because she looks troubled.
(-")è
The moment I open my eyes, it's afternoon. I find myself on a bed. In a place I didn't know. Then, he appears. He gives me something to eat and he eats silently on a couch by the window.
I don't know his name. But my heart tells me that I knew him more than a stranger. And he said a lot of thing that a stranger would never know about me. My sprained ankle for example.
I don't know. After the incident with the animal-soul feeder, my memory messed up. Like holes in a torn cloth. There are things I didn't remember and there are unclear memories. I don't know what had happened. Even the mission with the animal-soul feeder, I can hardly recall. They said two Sabertooth mages joined the mission. But I didn't remember who they are.
They said, heart never lies. I don't know if it's true. Right now, with this man keeping me company, I feel very comfortable. Even the kiss in the library, I didn't even mad.

"Hi."
She joined him on the couch. He sharply glanced at her, made her smiled widely.
"Thank you for helping me yesterday. If you weren't there, I don't know what'll happen to me," she said. "So, you read?" she asked.
"If you hate books so much, why'd you take the job?" he asked back.
"I have to. If not, I'll end up at the guild my whole life."
She didn't seem to be happy. He heard her sigh.
"Isn't it a good thing? You weren't hurt by arranging some books," he said.
She bitterly chuckled.
"Isn't it shows that they didn't trust me?"
She slowly placed her head on his shoulder.
"They care. Fairy Tail takes care of each member, whether they are weak or strong. You said that," he said. "And, they don't want you to die once again."
She lifted her head, to find he was looking back at her.
"You are no stranger, weren't you?" she asked.
He didn't reply. He just stared into her blue eyes.
"They said, there were two Sabertooth mages added to our group during the mission with the animal-soul feeder. It was one of them that ran back to save me. It was you, right?" she asked.
"What makes you think so?" he replied with question.
"You're the first thing I see when I woke up from deathbed. You weren't a stranger. What are you?"
He turned away. He made her troubled.
"I'll tell you, with two conditions. I want to know about your 'death'." She surprised with the first condition, but then she nodded. "After I told you everything, we'll stop seeing each other."
She slowly nodded. Then she started her story of her 'death'.
"It was two years ago. I mean, nine." She placed her head back on his shoulder. She was comfortable with it. "I went on a mission with Mira-nee and Elf-niichan. We had to save a village from a monster. I managed to evacuate the villagers, but Elf-niichan went uncontrolled when he tried to take over the beast. Mira-nee was injured. I tried to help, but I was hit. I was dead on that day. My body was sucked up to other world, Edolas."
"Edolas?" he asked. She nodded.
"It is a place with no magic. It's like the counterpart of the Earthland. I met so many people that look a lot like the ones I knew in Earthland. I met Edolas' Fairy Tail."
"There's Fairy Tail?" She nodded. "Sabertooth?" She shook her head.
"I think Sabertooth haven't yet exists at that time." She heard him 'ooo'ed, made her smiled. He seemed interested into Edolas.
"I met Mira-nee, Elf-niichan, Gray, Lucy, Natsu…"
"Natsu's counterpart?" he quickly asked.
She lifted her head. And then, she nodded smilingly.
"But they were different from the Earthland's version. Like, our Natsu is a strong mage and weak with transport, but Edolas Natsu was a weak person and he always being bullied by Lucy. But, he is best with machines."
He looked amazed.
"So, he doesn't have motion sickness?" She saw his eyes shone. "Wait, he being bullied?"
She chuckled.
"I was surprised when I saw it the first time. But not only Natsu, everyone was different. Edolas Gray couldn't stand cold. He wore ve~ry thick clothes. Even Wendy was different too."
"Wendy? The sky dragon slayer?" She nodded.
"Edolas Wendy was a grown up girl. Her height was the same as me. And she was an uptight."
She saw him nodded.
"So, mine would be a weak one?" he asked.
She shook her head.
"I don't know. I didn't meet yours. Maybe you were a little boy nine years ago. Don't worry. You could be a strong one. Like Erza's counterpart was a strong soldier, just that she was bad."
"So, I could be a strong one but bad?" She chuckled over his disappointment. "How about yours?"
"She was dead. The day I transported to Edolas. So, because of that, everyone in Fairy Tail mistook me as their Lisanna."
"How'd you come back?"
"Edolas tried to steal magic from Earthland, and pulled Fairy Tail into Edolas. Mystogan reversed the machine that took magic from Earthland and sent all magical-based things back to Earthland. I was sent back too. Including Exceed."
"Exceed?" He looked confused. She chuckled.
"Lector is an Exceed. Happy, Carla, Pantherlily. They are all Exceed."
He nodded, but he didn't seem to understand.
"Who's Mystogan's Edolas counterpart? No one had ever seen his face."
"Actually Mystogan is the Edolas counterpart. His Earthland counterpart is … Jellal Fernandes."
His eyes widened.
"Jellal? Then during the Grand Magic Games ….?"
She quickly covered his mouth from finishing the question.
"I shouldn't tell you this. Then you cannot tell anyone about this."
She pushed him down. He shouted in inaudible language. He tried to push her hands off his mouth. Struggling for free, they suddenly fell off the couch. Lisanna fell giggling in his arms. Her giggle died out as she realized he was staring at her. She stared back at him. And his lips. She slowly leaned forward. And kissed him. He kissed her back. Hold her and pulled her closer to him.
Suddenly he pushed her. Then he stood up.
"It's my turn."
"Why don't we go out and have lunch? Let's go."
She pulled his hand, but he snatched it back.
"We ate. Now it's time for the story about … us."
He sat back on the couch and ready to start his story-telling.
"No." She gave her back to him. "I… I don't want to know." He raised his brows. "Once you told me, I cannot see you anymore." She spun around. "So, I don't want to know. At least I knew that you're not a stranger."
"Whatever. I'm going back now."
He pulled her out of the room.
"You should go back to Fairy Tail after you collect you reward."
"I have a better idea. Why don't we spend more time, knowing each other before we go back to our guild?"
She looked very happy and excited. She took his hand and they walked out of the inn. They walked toward the library to collect her reward.
"Did Fairy Tail know that we're seeing each other?" she asked.
"No. Maybe yes. I don't know. One thing I know, it was you that didn't want them to know." He gently hit her head with his. "What do you mean by 'seeing each other'?"
She stopped walking. Made him stopped too. She turned to him. Then she put one arm around him, pulled his face closer and kissed him.
"It meant like this," she said smilingly, after broke the kiss.
He couldn't say anything. Things escalated quickly. He just followed, being pulled by the merry white-haired girl.
They stopped at the library's owner's house. She appeared from inside the house with a scowl on her face. She was a woman with no smile. Her slanted glasses made her face looked furious. She handed them the reward while murmured almost unheard 'thank you'.
Lisanna grinned at the dragon slayer with the jewels in her hand.
"Let's get something good."
Sting sighed. He grabbed her hand and pulled her. The girl almost stumbled upon the floor as he pulled her to follow his fast steps.
"Hey, wait! Where are we going?"
He didn't answer. He just pulled her, until they reached a place. He let her hand go, and walked to the train counter. She watched him left and came back a little while later with a train ticket.
"Eh?" She looked at the train ticket and his face simultaneously.
Still, he didn't answer. He pulled her by her hand, and as they reached the train, he pushed her in.
"Wait?" she tried to ask.
"Go back to Fairy Tail. This is not how we supposed to be," he said.
"What…?"
The train started moving. He turned around and left. She watched their growing distance. When he started to disappear from her sight, she ran to the back of the train. She tried to find him between the crowds. She stopped looking after the train left the station.
"Then, how are we supposed to be?" she whispered.
