Claire

He came towards her with a ball of fire in his hand the blood he already had from his wounds sufficient enough to cause it. Claire aimed firing the AK-12. Ten rounds hit him in the face right off the bat. She then retreated allowing the BOW to come after her. She fired more at him but it was still walking towards her. She knew he would follow her and that was the plan. As long as she was able to lead him away from Chris and the others, was what mattered.

She ran down the street and he flung blood at her but luckily she was running fast enough and far enough that it didn't get her. A row of flames followed and barely missed her. She ran spotting a deceased US soldier. She had an idea. The man had been killed with a single gunshot wound to the throat. The man was African American, about five foot six. His other team mates were dead too but he was the only one who had her size. Alfred was searching for her, his seemingly blind eyes using sound. She disrobed the deceased soldier taking his body armor off. She put it on herself as best as she could.

Finally, she came out. She let off a barrage of rounds unloading the magazine into the viral infected remnant of what had once been Alfred. She ran to cover to try and reload and he threw another trail of blood atr her and fire soon went up her back. She cried out but luckily, the body armor did protect against the flames. She rolled around on the ground to put it out. She saw he was getting closer and she retrieved the two Sig's she'd been given and began firing both of them. Some of her hair was singed and she hdid have a burn on her left arm but she was able to keep going. She let off nine rounds from each gun and Alfred was going to try and burn her again but two rounds hit his hand that was about to throw it at her. More rounds hit him in the abdomen and the man engulfed himself in his own flames.

She was surprised by this that he was burning because it had seemed to not matter with Alexia. It hadn't hurt them before and yet now it was. She wondered if it was because he had lost so much of his layers of skin because of the injury he had sustained in the last fight with being crushed by a vehicle. Just then, Alfred began to mutate. He started to resemble Alexia in her second to form back in Antartica. She panicked her blue eyes widening as she saw this. She fired her Handguns until she had to reload both. Still he began to turn into the bloated beast. It had several appendages. "REDFIELD!" He screamed in a voice that sounded like it not only wasn't human but never had been.

He screamed with rage and green tentacles started to emerge from the ground. "How...?" She cried out.
He roared, "MY ANCESTOR IS WITH ME. VERONICA WILL HAVE HER REVENGE!" She reloaded her Rifle firing at him. She retreated but one of the green tentacles came from the ground knocking her over. She cried out and another wrapped around her slamming her into the ground.

Steve came running out carrying a sword from the carriers. He swung it into the tentacle slicing it. The thing bled a greenish bile as it let her go and she collapsed trying to catch her breath but another lashed out at Steve in a stabbing like motion. Just like before. "NO!" Claire cried as she weakly got to her feet. Steve bled but he was not dying like before. He sliced at that tentacle as well. He then snatched up an M4 from a deceased soldier and began firing at Alfred's bloated body unloading every round. It hurled projectiles at him and green acid hit his arm burning through it and part of his face. Claire got back to her feet reloading her Rifle and she fired on the thing.

Steve cursed, "Damn it! We don't have the linear launcher from before!" Claire shouted back, "We'll just have to make due!" She fired a storm of rounds and this time around, Alfred began to mutate into a male version of what had been Alexia's final form. "So much for originality!" Yelled whacked Claire with its bottom sending her back. Claire noticed an IMI Shipon B-300 Anti Tank missile launcher. She went to fire it but saw that it was out of ammo. She searched among the corpses of Indian soldiers. It looked like an entire platoon had been wiped out.

She found a missile and began to load it up while Steve engaged Alfred with two Sigs similiar to the ones she was given by him. He fired but Alfred drove into him sending him back. He let out the same kind of laugh as Alexia had, as he had when pretending to be Alexia. "I liked you before when you two were dead!" Steve yelled.

Steve grabbed him trying to pin the thing down. "Claire, you have to shoot him now!" She told him, "I can't! You'll get hit too!" He yelled, "Claire you have no choice! We can't both die and this is the only shot we have! I couldn';t beat him with strength alone! Just trust me!" Alfred roared like a demon. Claire hesistated, "Steve..."

"It'll be okay..." He promised her. She fired and it came towards them. The blast was deafening and sent the auborn haired woman flying as it leveled the area. She stood up to see Alfred had been hit by the blast and Steve had too. "Steve!" She ran up to him seeing the right side of his face burned and a huge chunk of his body had taken burn damage and shrapnel from the blast. "Please don't leave me...Robert needs you...I need you...please ..." Tears ran down her cheek as she approached his fallen body, the fumes of smoke and the stench of burning flesh choking her lungs and nostrils causing even more tears. She held his body in her arms. He stirred looking up at her. "Claire..."

"Steve!" She kissed him and he looked at her saying, "I'm...still here...but you...have to make sure...he's dead..."

She checked and saw that all though Alfred was badly wounded and his wings and stinger was destroyed he wasn't. She went to look for another rocket. Steve started to get up, crawlimng towards the thing. It shot projectiles at him still and acid burned his already existing wiounds. Steve screamed in pain but he tackled the thing and began to punch him with his good arm. He grabbed one of the tentacles that had been cut in half. Alfred's busted wings seemed to be working still after all as it was able to lift off a bit but the wings had been burned. Seemingly, the mutant was harmless but she didn't want to take that chance. Steve grabbed the tentacle and grabbed Alfred and wrapped him up in it just as Claire found a second missile. "Now, Claire! I got him gift wrapped!"

Alfred opened his bloodied mouth in agony. "ARGHHHHH!" Steve snarled, "You want to be with Veronica, you got it!" She told him, "Steve! Get out of the way!" He smiled at her and said, "Just shoot! I'll move!" She could feel her heart racing and she fired. The blast destroyed Alfred this time but she didn't see Steve move. She tried to see through the flames. Steve's body lay there, mangled. "Steve..."

She collapsed to her knees, tears wetting her cheeks dripping to the ground and she sobbed. Just then, Chris appeared. He picked Steve's body up. "It's okay, Claire. We're going to get him help."

"How...?" She sniffed. He told her, " I don't know but he's strong. He still has a littlre bit of the virus in him. He saved my life three years ago. It's my turn to save his. That virus is the only chance we have. Ada's working on Leon. I'm going to do what I can for Steve."

She was still crying. "But...how do I know..you'll be able to save him? He's not just a boy on an island anymore. He's the father of our children. Your nephew."

Chris gave her a reassuring smile, one she never thought she would see again, either because o being dead which she thought he was back in Albany, being in a coma, as he had these last three years, or because of his memory loss. "I'm going to tell you what you've told me all these years. Have faith."

Jill

She pulled the car was in New Dehli and she was driving around miles of chaos and carnage. It seemed like everywhere there was military barricades and countless bodies. All though she was in no desire to see any zombies, at least they were easier to drive through and kept going. Sarah asked her, "Mom...where are we going?"

"We're going home. Or at least what will be."

"But my home was back in America...why did dad take me out here?"

Jill sighed. "Listen, do you trust me?"

The little girl nodded. All though she was shocked at her reaction as they had only just met and she had not known about her until recently, she knew that children tended to be more honest than adults. "Home...isn't necessarily just a place. It's where your heart is. It's what feels like home. I know you might miss America but right now we can't go back there. Not now. And...family also isn't necessarily always who's related by blood but loyalty."

"Are you saying you don't love me?" Asked Sarah. Jill's expression softened. "Not at all, sweetie. I'm just saying there's some people that are family to me and I hope they will be to you too. I know I wasn't around at first but I promise I'm going to change that. And as for your father...you won't be able to understand everything right now but I promise I'll explain it to you when you're old enough. Deal?"

The little girl held out a pinky as in a pinky swear. Jill smiled and they locked pinkies. "Mom...when I was back there...Excella called me a mistake...between you an dad. Is that true?"

Jill assured her. "No. You weren't a mistake. You were a surprise."

They pulled up seeing several zombies coming. She pulled away. The vehicle, however, started to die. She cursed under her breath pulling up. "Come on, we have to find some gas. Stay behind me at all times, like we talked about okay?"

She needed more money from Assault Rifle but she had at least twenty-four rounds for the shotgun.

She went inside. She saw several areas where the hospital had been shelled by the military. Which one, she couldn't say for sure but the streets were littered with dead bodies. She wanted to shield Sarah from this but she knew this was the way of the worl;d now and it would be impossible to do so. More than likely, she had seen plenty of death being Wesker's daughter.

She hoped to keep her safe still from being traumatized and she hoped that she would be able to keep the girl from thinking this was normal. They went in through one of the holes in the hospital. She wanted to try and help anybody that might have lived but it was unlikely she would be able to help anybody as she would be unable to do much but she knew it was important to try. Still, she needed to try and get her kid somewhere safe.

Just then, she spotted Claire who looked roughed she was okay. "Claire!" The two hugged. Claire looked at her back with confusion. "Who is that?" Claire asked. zjill was about to respond when she saw who was behind her. Her mouth dropped open. "Chris! You're okay!" They hugged as she went into tears seeing him alive and well. "I thought I'd lost you..." She said her head resting on his shoulder. "I know...I was almost gone for good but I'm here now an I don't plan on going anywhere for a long time."

She hugged Jill after this and asked, "Where's Sheva?"

"She's safe," Claire told him. "Same with Sherry. Robert too. They got the kids to safety."

Chris then looked at Sarah. "Who is that?"

Jill looked at Sarah then back at Chris and back to her again. She smiled.

2018

Jake

He'd healed considerably. He'd been unable to find the other two on his list and father had been angry about losing Sarah but they would soon remedy that. They were finally at the mother base and he'd gotten word that Jill and the others had left India and had been hiding out somewhere in Nepal. The war had taken a turn for the worse but India had switched sides two years ago as the United States threatened to use nuchlear warheads on India if they did not help them against the Russians and the Chinese. A million American soldiers had perished in the war and at least five times as many had died so far due to the viral outbreaks back in the states. But that was no longer his concern. His battle was here.

At the base which was in North Eastern India and bordered both China and Nepal. The Redfields and their spawns had been hiding somewhere in the Himilayas but rumnor had it they were coming for thids base. Albert, as the leader of the Family, had brought a lot of US and Indian troops to guard this Family base that had once been an Umbrella base. But of course, long before it had been an Umbrella base it had been a Family base first and they had merely been generous enough to let Umbrella brand their name to it and use it. At the Family's discretion of course.

What many didn't realize was that all though this was a former Umbrella and current Family facility,it was also connected to a nuclear power facility in Tibet. A facility most had no idea existed. In Mount Kailash. The peak of the mountain was inaccesible to the public and many suspected it was due to high radiation others believed teh god of destruction, Shibva, lived there.

Jake now knew the truth. What was really there. Ordinarily getting across an international border was not easy and certainly the notion of a nuchlear power plant in China powering a facility bordering India China and Nepal was unheard of but Jake knew that there was a secreet undewrground passage that went through. Some had said that it dated back to before the common era and that early Hindus and Buiddhists had gone through. Others had said the Family had built this passage as well as the nuchlear facility in the 1960's. Whatever the truth was, Jake knew what was there waiting for them at the Mount Kailash facility. Albert was bringing nuchlear weapons from the Tibetan side over to the Nepal faciliy and he was transporting viral weapons to the other side. He didn't know ewxactly what dad was up to but he had assured him he would know in time and this would bring the war to an end and bring about the new world.

Now, however, he had his mind on the mission he had still been waiting to carry out. He just had two more people he had to zoomed in on the battle going on as the Chinese and Russians were trying to get to this facility. Albert had told him that all though they did not normally care for human affairs, it would not be good for China and Russia to capture this base from the Family as he already had control over the base on the other side all though the officials over there had been kept in the dark as to how far this passage went. Not even Chinese soldiers were privy to this information. Nor were Indian soldiers or even American ones. But now because China and Russia had in America and therefore the Family, a common enemy, this left the possibility that Jill might ally with them.

Jake had kept the knowledge of Chris's being alive a secret. After all, it wasn't confirmed. What was the point in revealing what wasn't a sure thing?

He watched from a safe distance as the Americans and Indians fought the Russian and Chinese. The Russians were taking a heavy beating but the Chinese were hiolding strog. India was taking heavy casualties. The US was going strong as China but losing men as well. He did bntot have his eyes on them however. A Family sattelite had spoted a couple of "Guests" who were on their way there via helicopter. Jake looked through with buinnochulars. He spotted a Chinese helicopter dropping two people off who rappelled down and soon after, as the chopper started to fly away, an American soldier shot it down with a missile launcher. As the chopper went crashing down the side of the mountain, he looked at the two who had arrived. He saw the distraught faces of Jessica Sharawat and Parker Luciani.

You think you're having a bad day now? Wait until I get a hold of you. He thought darkly as he made his way towards them ignoring the carnage below.

That's it for this chapter it was very brief but we are almost done. So kind of a twist that I'm having in this is that location where this base is on the India-China border, the words for the city means Elephant Mountain but I just got it in my head to make this Family base they are going for be Mount Kailash after watching an episode of Ancient Aliens and learning about how it is important to four religions in India I figured it should be in this and besides the Himilayas goes into China, India and Nepal so I think I could definitley justify it. I was thinking of having the passage go the 432 miles from Nepal to Tibet but then since the mountains stretches so far I could just have that be the general setting where this facility is anyway. It doen't have to be so narrow and specific and besides since a lot of people in India believe that an ancient nuchlear explosion happened and some have tried to draw a parralel between Shiva and nuchlear warheads since Shiva is said to represent enertgy itself and energy doesn't die or get born, I thought this shit writes itself.

Anywway the last few chapters are about to be wrapped up. So Alfred is dead too. Do you think Steve survived? Was Chris able to save him?

And as far as Chris meeting Sarah he is going to raise her as his own. And actually, all though this has skipped to 2018 (Twenty years after Raccoon I'm a sucker for symbolim and anniversary.) I am gonna show a moment between Chris and Jill and Sheva too. But anyway, Chris got to know Sarah as did Jill these last couple years and Chris and co. have been hiding out in the mountains until they can find a way to invade this base especially since Wesker has the army plus Family agents at his disposal at the facility. And while I didn't show Leon's status, Ada was able to fix his lung. I just don't know about how that works so I decided to skip that detail and say yeah it's done lol.

Plus next chapter with Billy and Rebecca still on the run but also closing in on the facility soon too, you'll see what they are up to.

This base will be the final battle ground.
