Lucy sat next to Natsu who was having his lunch, ignoring the chaos at the guild. She glanced to him. He must be very hungry. He didn't even lift his head. At the same time, a white-haired girl stopped in front of them.

"Natsu, need anything more?" the girl asked. She smiled to Lucy.

Natsu gave her his glass. Lisanna took it and returned to the counter. Lucy eyed her. Then she saw Levy. She was reading a book like usual. But this time her book was thinner.

"Levy-chan, what are you reading?" Lucy sat on a stool next to the bluenette.

Levy put the book down and turned to Lucy. She stared to the blonde for a few seconds.

"Levy-chan?"

Levy smiled. She slid the book over to Lucy.

"Emm…"

Lucy hadn't finish read the title of the book, Cana banged the counter with her head, almost made the two girls jumped of their stools. They couldn't mad to the drunken girl. They just continued their conversation.

"Lucy, what happened to Natsu?" Lisanna appeared in front of them. Her eyes were watching the fire dragon slayer.

At the same time, Levy quickly pulled her book and hid it. Lucy confused why the bluenette suddenly hid the book.

"He is quiet today," Lisanna said.

Lucy quickly turned back to the white-haired girl.

"Er, what did you say just now, Lisanna?" Lucy asked.

Lisanna exhaled. She wiped the counter with a cloth.

"Nothing. Natsu just looks a little weird today. Did something happen during the mission?" said Lisanna.

The three of them turned to the fire dragon slayer.

"Yeah, he's quiet," said Levy, earned a nod from the white-haired girl.

Lucy chuckled, made the other two girls confused.

"Yeah. During the mission, we encountered a beast. It looked like a slug. A giant slug. Natsu was swallowed by it."

"Ew!" Lisanna and Levy shrieked.

"I don't know what he found in the beast's stomach," Lucy said.

They couldn't stop laughing; wondering what had made the dragon slayer very quiet.

"Lisanna, Laxus' upstairs." Mirajane came with a tray of empty glasses.

Lisanna nodded and disappeared into the back of the kitchen. Lucy and Levy glanced to each other.

"Levy-chan, what'd you read just now?" Lucy asked again.

Levy moved her hand up and down, gestured Lucy to low her voice. The bluenette showed her the book again from under the counter.

"Stages of broken heart," Levy said, half-whispered.

"Stages of broken heart?" Lucy asked, raised her brows in question.

Levy nodded.

"I found this when I was tidying up my room yesterday."

"You tidied your room? I don't know how tidy it will be," Lucy said.

"Lu-chan!" Levy pushed her shoulder lightly, and then they giggled.

"So, what's this about? Stages of broken heart."

"I read this since last night." She gave the book to Lucy to look at. "There are five stages for a broken heart to heal. Denial…" Levy took out her finger for every stage. "…depression, bargaining, anger and finally acceptance."

"Okay…" Lucy seemed to not understand why the book so interesting.

"Look at Lisanna."

Both of them turned to Lisanna. The said girl had just came out of the kitchen and headed to the second floor.

"So, you're comparing these stages to Lisanna?" Lucy asked.

Levy nodded.

"Seemingly she skipped a few stages." Lucy turned the pages while once in a while glanced to Levy. "Have you noticed that, after her mission with Laxus a week ago, she was very quiet?"

Lucy seemed to think about it. And then she nodded.

"So?" she asked.

"I don't know what happened exactly, but I believe that she was in the stage of denial," said Levy.

"Denial stage? How do you know?" Lucy asked for explanation.

"During denial stage, you will never accept any comment that put you at disadvantage. As for Lisanna, she chose to keep quiet. She avoided from answering questions regarding her relationship with Sting."

"Alright, I got that. How about depression stage?"

"I have no evidence on that. But she might hide it from us. Who knows?" Levy replied.

"Do you think that she might skip that stage?" Lucy asked.

"No, I don't think so. It's very hard to skip depression stage. Even if you have a very good mental state. Some people hide their depression state through work or make themselves busy."

Lucy nodded.

"Bargaining stage?"

Levy inhaled deeply.

"This is what I'm talking about. She skipped two stages. Now she is in the stage of acceptance," said Levy.

"Stage of acceptance. So, you mean that she skipped anger and bargaining stages? Bargaining and anger stages?"

The bluenette took a little time to nod.

"Well, during bargaining and anger stages, usually you'll try to reconcile, or beg to get back together. And if it not works, then came anger."

Lucy's brows fused.

"How you can be so sure? Maybe she just mad at us, thus she didn't want to talk about it."

Levy shook her head.

"Yesterday, I asked her about her relationship. She said there is no more."

The blonde's eyes widened in disbelief.

"Really?" Levy nodded.

"She also said she's fine and over it."

She put her elbow on the counter and rested her chin on her palm.

"Maybe she had gone through bargaining and anger stages. It's just us didn't know it," Lucy gave an idea.

Levy shook her head again.

"I didn't think so. As far as I can remember she has been in the guild all the time."

Lucy nodded. She bit her lower lip.

"Is she really okay?"

Levy shrugged.

"I don't know. So far she looks okay." But Levy's face showed that she didn't sure if the girl was fine.
