(Welcome to my next installment readers. Naruto shall return and learn the truth about the Uchiha from Sasuke, as well as his friends seeing the training he underwent with Killer Bee.)

Outside Konoha, Naruto and Captain Yamato were walking up to the entrance before passing through the gates. Naruto looked around the village and took a breath of fresh air, "Ah. No matter how long I stay away from this village be it years or weeks I still enjoy the feeling of returning."

"Yes, it does feel good to be home." Yamato admitted.

"Well, come on. We better go see baa-san." Naruto said, as he and Yamato made their way through the village.

As they walked, Naruto felt a presence behind him and spun around seeing Naomi, Ming, Yami, Yuzuru, and Mitsuki jump at him. Naruto had his arms opened wide enough to catch all of them, but ended up falling onto the ground. As he laid on the ground he looked up seeing the five bending girls on top like they were straddling him, "Girls, while I'm glad to see you, I don't think this is the appropriate place for this."

"Sorry, Naruto, but we're so glad you're home." Ming said with excitement.

The girls got off Naruto who got back on his feet, "So anything happen while I was away?" he wondered.

The girls looked a bit nervous, as Naomi spoke, "Naruto, have we got a story to tell you."

"But we'll tell it later. Right now you better check in with Tsunade-sama." Yami suggested.

"Right. I'll see you all later." Naruto and Yamato carried on their way to the administration building.

Soon enough the two were standing before Tsunade at her desk. The Hokage spoke to them, "So I assume the training went smoothly?"

"Well, it wasn't easy but I got it down." Naruto admitted.

"Your thoughts, Yamato?" Tsunade questioned the Wood Style user.

"He did very well once he started learning how to control the strength of his chakra." Yamato answered.

"And now with my new upgrade to my tailed beast chakra I've got another big heavy hitter to use against Orochimaru and the Akatsuki." Naruto smirked.

"Good. Because we're gonna need that power sooner than you think." Tsunade replied seriously.

"How so?" Naruto asked, as he and Yamato were curious.

"All will be explained soon. Right now let's go over to Sasuke's place. Everyone's waiting for you there."

"Why there?" Naruto wondered.

"Like I said, all will be explained." Tsunade motioned to Shizune who nodded and followed her master. Naruto and Yamato followed out of the office as well.

The four made their way to Sasuke's place in the abandoned Uchiha district and upon entering Sasuke's home, they saw the bending girls, Sakura, Ino, Hinata, Kakashi, Hiruzen, Soreth, Spitfire, their kids, and the original Team Avatar.

Soreth scampered over and nuzzled with Naruto's face, as the boy laughed, "All right, Soreth. Take it easy."

"Naruto, welcome back." Kakashi greeted him.

"We missed you." Hinata smiled.

"It's good to see all you." Naruto smiled back, before seeing no sign of Jiraiya, "Ero-sennin out on a mission?"

"Afraid so." Tsunade confirmed.

"You've got to tell us what happened during your training." Ino pleaded.

"Where do I begin?" Naruto asked, as he took a seat amongst them.

"Best to start at the beginning." Mako suggested.

Naruto nodded and spoke, "Well, after arriving in Kumo, Bee took me to this island that resides on the back of a giant turtle."

"An island on a giant turtle?" Hinata gasped.

"How would you compare the size of this turtle?" Rohan asked.

"I'd say bigger than even a tailed beast or a Lion Turtle." Naruto guessed.

"That's enormous." Bolin gasped.

"Yeah. The island on its shell was where Bee first trained when he was made a Jinchuriki. Now these days he's been using it as a place for R&R. I tell ya that island is almost as dangerous as the Forest of Death."

"How's that?" Sakura raised a brow.

"That island is home to a lot of giant animals, even ones that're much bigger than they should be. But luckily Bee tamed them and are all very docile."

"So how did you get started on training?" Mitsuki asked.

"Well, before we could begin. I had to cleanse myself of my inner darkness. To do that I was tasked with going to a place called The Waterfalls of Truth. By meditating before it I entered my mind and came face to face with my inner self that harbored all my anger and hate that stemmed from my original treatment by the villagers or anything I felt hatred for."

"But you're the Avatar. You shouldn't have darkness inside you." Naomi noted.

"Even in the brightest of light lie the tiniest bit of darkness, Naomi." Jinora stated.

Naruto nodded, "I thought I had to defeat him in order to move on. But because he was me he knew everything I could do and even before I could do it. I tried over a dozen times, but it always ended with me having to wake up and regroup."

"So how'd you overcome yourself?" Sasuke asked.

"I decided to take a different approach," Naruto replied, "I had to stop my dark half by not fighting him, but embracing the fact that he was just as much a part of me and that I shouldn't neglect him. I will always have anger focused on something be it an enemy or personal issues. But it's the drive that stemmed from him is what made me want to be stronger to protect everyone I cared for. My dark half stood down and thanked me before we became one."

"So you really didn't have to fight him at all?" Meelo asked.

"Well, he wanted to fight the most." Naruto replied.

"So then what?" Asami wondered.

"The falls opened up, as me and Bee went into the temple on the other side. Kumo built that temple to house tailed beasts that had been captured and for Jinchuriki to learn to control their chakra. In a special room I was tasked to finally mold my chakra with Kurama's and let's just say a miracle happened." everyone was confused, as Naruto flashed back to his training.

Naruto sat in a meditating position in a small room, where he once again found himself in his subconscious. He stood before Raava and Kurama, as the fox looked down at him, "So, Naruto. It is time we awakened the true power of my chakra."

"I've been waiting a long time for this moment, Kurama." Naruto smiled.

"As have I." Raava replied.

"Well, then. Shall we get started?" Naruto raised his fist up to his tailed beast partner.

"Let's." Kurama acknowledged, as he fist his own fist and lightly bumped it with Naruto's.

Upon fist contact the area started illuminating much to their surprise. When the light died down Naruto laid on the ground groaning, before getting up, "What was that about?" he asked his two partners.

"You've finally activated the seal to reveal me." came a new voice.

Naruto looked around looking scared, "Who's there?"

"Don't be afraid. I'm not here to hurt you." the voice continued, as Naruto looked over seeing a figure approach. It was a woman with long red scarlet hair and violet colored eyes.

Naruto upon seeing this woman gasped, as he recognized her from the various pictures of his family shown to him by Hiruzen and Jiraiya, "No way! Mom?"

"Hello, Naruto." Kushina Uzumaki greeted him.

"Mom!" Naruto shouted, as he ran to his mother and embraced her tightly.

"Ooh!" Kushina gasped, but smiled and returned the gesture, "I'm so proud of you, Naruto. You've come so far since your birth and now look at you a strong handsome young man looking to make the world a better place as not just a shinobi, but the Avatar as well."

"Mom. You know about me being the Avatar?" Naruto asked.

"Yes. When your father sealed Kurama inside you, he left a chakra imprint of myself behind and would activate at the time both your chakras would truly merge together."

"I had no idea." Naruto said in awe.

"I did." came another voice.

Naruto and Kushina looked and saw approaching was Korra, "Ever since the Avatar was reincarnated into you I've been secretly aware of your mother's chakra imprint."

Kushina looked at the Waterbender with a hand to her mouth, "Oh, my gosh! Avatar Korra!"

"Kushina Uzumaki, a pleasure to finally meet you." Korra greeted her.

"I have heard everything about you, and let me say you are a role model to women everywhere as both normal and as fighters!" Kushina pumped a fist up. Korra chuckled feeling a little embarrassed, "It was you that helped inspire me to be strong when I was facing tough times."

"Mom. There's so much I want to ask you about." Naruto said.

"Well, I have the time. Kurama, Raava, can you give us a moment?" Kushina asked them.

"Of course." Kurama answered.

"We'll be waiting." Raava replied, as she and Kurama waited patiently making sure not to interrupt her.

So Naruto, Kushina, and Korra took a seat on the floor, as Naruto spoke up, "First off, how did you and dad meet?"

Kushina upon hearing that started blushing and looked sheepish, "Uh, well, ya see..."

"Come on! This is something a boy should at least know about his parents." Naruto pleaded.

"I'm also curious." Korra agreed.

Kushina sighed, "Well, this was many years ago when I was just a kid. I had brought from Uzushio to Konoha. And upon being enrolled into the academy I wanted to make a good first impression so I told everyone I was going to be the first female Hokage."

"And how did they respond?" Naruto inquired.

"They laughed themselves silly." Kushina pouted.

"Jeez, that sounded cruel." Naruto crossed his arms.

"That was where I met your father who also declared he would be Hokage. Personally I didn't think much of him at the time, especially since I had other things to deal with." Kushina explained.

"Such as?" Naruto wondered.

"The other students particularly the boys started mocking me for my declaration, especially because I was a foreigner, or as they prefer 'outsider'. They ever started teasing me because of my hair color and round face calling me tomato."

Korra frowned, "Boys can be such jerks," she noticed Naruto give her a disapproving look. She smiled and ruffled his hair, "Not you of course, Naruto."

Naruto spoke up, "So let me guess, did dad jump in and teach them a lesson?"

"Oh, it was the opposite of that," she smirked, "I beat the living hell out of them, ya know!" she declared, as Naruto and Korra started feeling a little nervous at the aura she was emitting, "And since then people started referring to me as 'The Red-Hot Habanero'!"

Naruto thought nervously, 'Now I can see what Shikamaru means by moms being scary.'

"I spent a good amount of my academy years alone because nobody wanted to be next to an 'outsider'. I didn't think I'd need anybody until one day I was abducted by Kumo shinobi who were looking to use my special chakra for their own. As they led me out of the village, I had been secretly plucking bits of my red hair and drop them on the ground like a trail of bread crumbs. Just when I had almost given up hope your father arrived and saved me."

"Knew it." Naruto smirked.

"He told me caught onto my trail and came straight away. He also said he always admired me and knew I was strong and independent. He actually liked that side of me. Since that day I fell in love with Minato, my red hair which I used to hate so much ended up being the red string of fate which led me to my soul mate." Kushina blushed.

"Aw!" Korra said, "That's a beautiful story."

Naruto smiled, "Yeah. You two obviously were made for each other," he suddenly turned serious, "But now there's more I want to know. What happened that night when I became a Jinchuriki? Kurama said it was you he was previously sealed inside of, but how did it all go down?"

Kushina knowing this was inevitable spoke, "Yes it's true. I was previously vessel to Kurama, one of the many reasons I was relocated to Konoha after Uzushio fell to ruins. Many tailed beasts have been able to escape or take over their hosts when their seal weakens. Well the seal which kept Kurama inside me had weakened during childbirth."

"Seriously?" Naruto asked.

"Correct. When word of my pregnancy got out to Sandaime-sama, he made preparations so that I would have you outside the village where it would be safe if anything went wrong. While I was giving birth to you, Minato was tasked with trying to keep the seal strong so Kurama would not escape."

"Things didn't go according to plan, did it?" Naruto asked rhetorically.

Kushina shook her head, "After you were born this masked figure appeared and snatched me away. He took me somewhere where he unleashed Kurama making him run amok in Konoha. Minato came to my rescue and brought me back to you. But he knew the only chance of stopping Kurama was to seal him inside of you at the cost of his life. During the procedure Kurama was about to attack your father but I took the blow and combined my chakra with his own to complete the seal. So we both died that night leaving you with the same burden I carried." Kushina looked down sadly.

Naruto not liking to see his mother upset laid a hand on her shoulder prompting her to look at him, "The burden was worth it mom. I'm proud to have been born your son."

"You are?" Kushina gasped.

"Of course I am. My father was the Hokage, a hero who'd give his life for his home. And my mom was a kick ass kunoichi and Earthbender to boot who never took crap from anyone. The way I see it. I couldn't have asked to be the son of better people."

Kushina smiled with tears in her eyes, before embracing her son, "Thank you, Naruto. I'm so glad I got this chance to see you again. And I'm relieved you were able to make peace with your father too."

"If Jiji hadn't resurrected dad so I could get the rest of Kurama's chakra I wouldn't be talking to you right now." Naruto replied, "Mom. I want you to know wherever I go from here I'll continue to make you and dad proud."

Kushina nodded, "I know you will," Kushina turned to Korra, "You and the rest of your past lives will continue to guide him won't you?"

"You have my word, Kushina." Korra gave her a thumbs up.

"Thank you, Korra. Naruto, it's time for me to go. But know this, your father and I are always watching over you." Kushina said as she dissolved into chakra Naruto, Korra, Kurama, and Raava watched as the chakra dissolved knowing Kushina could finally rest in peace knowing her son loved her.

The flashback ended, as many of Naruto's friends, particularly the girls were in tears, "That's a beautiful story!" Ino whimpered.

"Your mother sounded like a wonderful woman." Hinata shed some tears.

"She was indeed, Hinata." Kakashi agreed.

"So after that what happened?" Ikki inquired.

"I woke up and told everything to Captain Yamato and Bee. Then I was able to activate my new chakra mode."

"Interesting. Can we see this chakra mode?" Tsunade inquired.

"All right. I'll show you." Naruto stood still and concentrated and his body was engulfed with what looked like flames.

Everyone was taken by surprise as they saw Naruto standing before them in a new form. Naruto's entire body looked like it was covered in yellow flames while the entire seal on his stomach was visible. On top of that he appeared to have been wearing a long fiery jacket with dark seal lines. The whisker marks on his face looked like solid dark bars.

"Naruto, you're on fire?" Sakura gasped.

"That's not fire, Sakura," Hinata replied, "That's chakra."

"That's chakra?" Mitsuki gasped.

"No way!" Sasuke gasped.

"Way." Naruto assured.

"So what exactly can you do in this mode?" Opal inquired.

"Just about the same, only much like Sage Mode and Avatar state my jutsu and bending skills are twice as powerful. And I'm finally able to use my Rasengan more times without needing to make clones to make individual ones." Naruto explained.

"What do you mean?" Meelo asked.

Naruto stood still as the chakra surrounding him manifested into two big chakra arms that stretched over to his friends making them back up in shock, "I can use my chakra to create multiple arms that can mold my regular chakra into Rasengans. And I don't even have to use my real arms. And if I combine this mode with Sage mode or the Avatar state... Not even the Akatsuki will wanna mess with me."

"Amazing." Naomi gasped.

"But enough about me. What's been happening while I was away?" Naruto inquired.

Everyone looked to each other, before Sasuke answered, "Naruto, there's something you need to know concerning my brother."

"Itachi?"

"We ran into him a few days ago." Kakashi explained.

"Him and Kisame." Sakura added.

"You what?" Naruto asked in shock, "What happened?"

"A lot, Naruto. It's like this." Sasuke began telling Naruto about went on during his fight with Itachi, while the others were left to deal with Kisame. He made sure to keep the subject about Amon separately. When Sasuke finally got to the truth about the Uchiha, Naruto was left in surprise, "And that's everything."

"Itachi was really one of us?" Naruto asked in disbelief.

"That's correct," Hiruzen confirmed, "I had Itachi commit the ultimate act of sacrifice for the greater good of the village."

"How're you holding up, Sasuke?" Naruto inquired.

"To be honest I'm still so confused. I mean I thought I knew everything about my family. But I didn't." Sasuke sighed, "Still, I'm not giving up on it. I still intend to restore order to the Uchiha. And rid it of this curse of hatred. And with my Mangekyo eyes I'll be able to lead the way to a new future." Sasuke declared.

"Nicely put." Naruto smirked.

Sakura spoke up, "Well, Naruto. There's something else you should know about what happened when we confronted Kisame and Itachi."

"What do you mean?" Naruto asked, as Sakura was about to tell him.

From an eagle's eye view of the village, Naruto's voice could be heard, "WHAT?!" the scene cut back to Sasuke's place, as Naruto spoke in shock, "Orochimaru brought back Amon from the dead?!"

"More or less." Kakashi answered, feeling freaked out by Naruto's outburst.

"How did you manage?" Naruto asked in concern.

"It wasn't easy," Naomi replied, "I mean with his Bloodbending he was able to bend any of us."

"Luckily Kisame put aside his mission and decided to help us," Sakura explained, "Of course it didn't make too big a difference. We only got through it when Itachi and Sasuke showed up. Itachi used what strength he had using the Susanoo to seal Amon away. After that we escaped Kisame thanks to Itachi provided us with cover."

Naruto was still in shock to have heard who they fought, "I can't believe Orochimaru actually brought back Amon."

"Well, he did. And if he could bring someone like him back..." Sasuke began, as Naruto finished.

"There's no telling who else he could be capable of bringing back."

"That's why it's imperative now more than ever to to defeat Orochimaru." Tsunade said.

"But with both you and Sasuke having these new upgrades we have a better shot this time." Sakura added.

Naruto looked at Sasuke, as the two nodded, "Right," Naruto said, as Squad Seven stood together, "We'll defeat Orochimaru and the remaining Akatsuki no matter what."

"Yeah." Sasuke agreed.

"And we'll help out in any way too." Yuzuru said on behalf of herself and the girls, while the older Benders nodded in agreement.

"Well, guys. We got work to do." Sakura said, as Squad Seven put their hands in.

(And there you have it. I went back and recalled I mentioned that someone abducted Kushina and released Kurama. But in my version it's not Obito. Enjoy and I'll see you next time.)
