(Welcome back once again to my next installment. Things really took a turn since my last update, but now the boys are ready to put an end to Konoha's biggest thorns.)

Naruto and Sasuke stood their ground, as Danzo approached them, "You're lucky I showed up here when I did. Kuvira is a very strong opponent with her mastery over Metalbending and hand to hand combat skills."

"We had things under control!" Naruto argued.

"For now." Danzo replied.

Sasuke frowned, and asked, "What are you doing here?"

"As I said, we have matters to discuss." the old man answered.

"Then spill." Naruto said impatiently, knowing Kuvira would be back once she landed and reformed.

"I heard you returned from your training in the Land of Lightning. Finally got all the tailed beast chakra down?" Danzo inquired.

"What's it to you?" Naruto asked suspiciously.

"Just curious after all. As a representative of Konoha, I take an interest in our village's highly renowned shinobi."

"I'll bet." Naruto grumbled.

Danzo turned to Sasuke, "And you, Sasuke. I heard you had finally defeated your brother Itachi and gained the Mangekyo Sharingan, am I right?"

"So what?" the Uchiha asked while baring a scowl.

"I'm just saying you must be proud to have finally avenged the deal of your clan." Danzo said.

"No," Sasuke answered, taking Danzo by surprise, "I haven't avenged them yet. Rather I've only tarnished them even more."

"How can you say that?" the old man asked in fake surprise.

"Because I found out recently, Itachi didn't kill our family because he was mad with power. He did it because the Uchiha were mad!" Sasuke shouted, "The Uchiha were suppressed because as history stated they always had superiority issues. It was so bad they were threatening to take over the village. But Itachi... You and the council ordered him to massacre them all to prevent a catastrophe!" Danzo squinted his visible eye, "I understand it. My brother did the noble thing by baring the charge of murderer and traitor to protect the village. But still... It's people like you that added fuel to the fire that burned the Uchiha's hatred!"

Danzo spoke firmly, "So Itachi told you the truth?"

Sasuke answered, not wanting it to be the Third Hokage who told them, "He did."

Danzo frowned, "He promised he wouldn't tell a single soul about the events that happened that night to protect the village. But the fact he told you the truth means Itachi did betray the village after all," Sasuke growled, as he gripped his swords and ran at Danzo trying to strike him down. But the old man used his cane to block every one of Sasuke's strikes. Danzo jumped back to gain some distance, and spoke with a smug tone, "I've still got it."

Naruto approached, "Actually, Danzo. You obviously never had it."

"What?"

"Don't think I don't know all the risky and dirty stuff you did behind the village's back just to satisfy your own power-hungry ego!" Naruto called him out.

"Watch your tone with me, boy." Danzo warned him.

"No! You watch it!" Naruto replied, "I know it was you who outvoted the council telling them never to tell me the truth about my past. About how my father was the Fourth Hokage, or the fact my mother was an Earthbender! You wanted me to be raised as a living weapon to the village like a caged animal like I had no feelings!"

"I only wanted what was best for the village by having our own special weapon to call upon should we ever be faced with an enemy mere jutsu cannot defeat."

"All at the expense of my childhood?" Naruto asked.

"Sacrifices must be made. But when Hiruzen overruled it I still sought to bring you under my tutelage. But then you up and vanished from the village. When I discovered it was because you were training to be the Avatar I knew there was more to you than we thought."

"And yet you still weren't allowed to meddle with me." Naruto smirked.

"Hiruzen was a fool to have let you roam so freely with so much power at your disposal." Danzo frowned.

"Sounds to me like you think so little of me and have no faith at all!" Naruto once again called him out.

"In this world, faith is but an illusion," Danzo began, "There are only so few people in this world you can trust, but in the end they always betray or let you down."

"Sounds like desperate words from an old man who never believed in anything but how to make himself look good." Sasuke accused.

"You're so just like your brother," Danzo frowned at Sasuke, "Always pointing out flaws to his superiors."

"You probably relished in watching my brother kill our family and leave the village," Sasuke accused, "Him sacrificing his own name just to cover your own orders!"

"Don't be so naïve, child," Danzo spoke up, "Sacrifice is part of the shinobi life. Itachi wasn't the first to do it, and he won't be the last!"

"You're wrong!" Naruto shouted, "Because when I become Hokage I'm gonna make sure we never have to sacrifice one of our own!"

"That's where you're mistaken, boy," Danzo said, taking Naruto by surprise, "You won't be becoming Hokage. That is a title reserved for me." he said grimly.

Naruto's eyes burned with anger, and shouted, "Over my dead body!" he ran to attack Danzo only for the old man to pull out a bandaged up right arm and perform hand signs. He released a powerful wind jutsu pushing Naruto and Sasuke back.

The two shinobi landed on their feet, and stared Danzo down, "It doesn't have to be this way, you two," Danzo explained, "Join me, and together we will lead the ninja world into a new age."

"And age you have plans for the ninja world are probably going to be all the same." Naruto answered.

"Sacrifice. Lies. Betrayal. This age you speak of is nothing but madness!" Sasuke shouted.

"If you do not stand with me, then you two are against me... And the village." Danzo declared.

Naruto and Sasuke frowned, as they powered up both tailed beast chakra mode and Mangekyo Sharingan, "Don't you dare talk about the village like that in front of us!" Naruto screamed, as he and Sasuke engaged the old man.

Meanwhile Kuvira was running through a forest while thinking, 'I don't know who that old man was, but Orochimaru's suddenly given me this new order to destroy him as well.'

At Orochimaru's lair, Orochimaru was growling, "Danzo! That old man will not get in the way of my plans!"

"Seems like he's out for Naruto just as much as you are." Kabuto said.

"No matter. I will not let that old codger take Naruto before I do. Kuvira, seek him out and destroy him!" Kuvira hearing the orders pressed on.

Back at the fight, Danzo and the boys continued to engage in combat. Naruto threw a Rasenshuriken at Danzo, but upon seeing it connect with the old man, he vanished into thin air, "What?!" he cried in shock.

"You are slow, Naruto." Came Danzo's voice, as the boys looked back seeing Danzo standing unharmed.

"No way, my jutsu hit him," Naruto gasped, "Sasuke, is that some kind of illusion?"

"No. It's not some ordinary genjutsu." Sasuke answered.

"Correct," Danzo replied, "It's the most powerful Genjutsu in the Uchiha clan. The Izanagi."

"Izanagi?" Naruto asked.

"Yes. A genjutsu that warps the reality around the user. Meaning any lethal attack aimed at me can be made useless." Danzo explained.

"Wait a minute. You said it was a Genjutsu of the Uchiha clan," Sasuke recalled, "If it's a jutsu known to my clan, how come you can use it?"

"I can through these." Danzo unwrapped his arm of his bandages to reveal he had multiple Sharingan eyes embedded in it.

"No." Sasuke gasped.

"Ok, that's just gross." Naruto said in repulse.

"You shame my family by stealing their eyes!" Sasuke shouted, as a purple aura appeared around him.

Danzo and Naruto watched as as a skeletal form started appearing around Sasuke, making the two gasped, "Sasuke!" Naruto called.

"I feel it!" Sasuke gasped, as he looked at what was protecting him.

"The Susanoo," Danzo gasped, "Or part of it."

Sasuke turned to Danzo and controlled his skeletal Susanoo to make him attack the old man. Danzo kept jumping around and using wind jutsu to blow Susanoo back, only for Naruto to counter with his Airbending powered by his tailed beast chakra. Danzo crashed into a tree, before being grabbed by Sasuke's Susanoo arm.

"You will die like the rat you are!" he crushed Danzo in his Susanoo's skeletal hand.

"That got him now," Naruto said, only for them to see Danzo appear before them unharmed, "Oh come on!"

"I had him!" Sasuke called.

"Sorry, but with Izanagi, I am untouchable." Danzo mocked.

Naruto frowned, until he looked closely at Danzo's arm and gasped, "Sasuke, look at his arm."

Sasuke looked and saw one of the eyes in Danzo's prosthetic arm closed, "An eye closed."

"And look," Naruto motioned to another closed eye, "Betcha that one closed when he avoided my attack."

Sasuke nodded, and called out to Danzo, "Seems the Izanagi isn't without drawbacks, is it?"

Danzo couldn't believe they caught onto it, and answered reluctantly, "Unfortunately, yes. The Izanagi can only be used once. After that the eye used is left permanently blinded. Which is why it was made forbidden."

"So having all those eyes in that arm is just to help you use it more than once?" Naruto questioned.

"Precisely. And though it drains me of my chakra it's not such a big problem. Because this arm of mine isn't just embedded with Sharingan eyes, but cells of the First Hokage to increase my chakra and stamina giving me more energy leftover from using the Izanagi. With these two bloodlines at my disposal I am untouchable."

"Then I guess we're just gonna have to do something about that!" came a voice, as Kuvira jumped in and Metalbended a boomerang blade at the old man.

She came in so fast and so unexpected, Danzo didn't have time to activate Izanagi and got his Sharingan arm sliced off, "No!" he shouted as his Sharingan arm fell to the ground. He tried to grab it in hopes of reattaching it, only for Sasuke to unleash a bit of Amaterasu flames on the arm burning it to dust.

Naruto looked to the undead bender, "Thanks for the save, Kuvira."

"Well, don't thank me yet. Orochimaru's programmed this new order into me to destroy him before I resume fighting you two." Kuvira warned them.

"Well, thanks anyway." Sasuke replied, as the three stood ready.

Danzo looked over and frowned at Kuvira, "You have made a serious mistake, child."

Kuvira returned the frown and answered, "I know. Mistakes are all I've made when I was alive. I thought I could unite all of the lands into one, but all I did was come off as a dictator only caring about my selfish goals. But at least destroying you means I'm doing something right for the world!" she engaged Danzo with Naruto and Sasuke.

Without Izanagi Danzo was forced to rely on dodging most attacks, but with half his chakra depleted and old age catching up to him, he was reaching his limits. To make things worse for him, Kakashi, Sakura, and the bending girls arrived.

"We got here as fast as we could." Sakura said.

"Girls, look!" Ming called, as they saw Kuvira.

"That's Kuvira." Mitsuki gasped.

"Who's the old geezer?" Naomi noticed Danzo.

"Danzo Shimura of the Konoha council," Kakashi answered, before turning to Naruto and Sasuke, "What's been going on, you two?"

"Danzo here's trying to destroy us." Naruto answered.

"Says, we're a threat to his plans of being Hokage and because we don't want to follow his plan of becoming village weapons who serve him." Sasuke explained.

"What?!" Yami and Yuzuru gasped.

"Well, that's not surprising." Kakashi sighed.

Danzo frowned at the boys and Kuvira, before using his only arm to tear open his robe to reveal four seals on his torso, "If I can't have you boys then you will go with me! Reverse Tetragram Sealing Jutsu!" he declared as the seals formed a giant sphere around Naruto, Kuvira, and Sasuke trapping them with him.

"What do we do now?" Kuvira asked.

"We're out of here!" Naruto called, as he brought Sasuke and Kuvira at his side. He used Earthbending to burrow into the ground and outside the sphere.

They watched as the sphere vanished taking any tree or section of the ground into Danzo's deceased corpse, "What was that?" Sakura asked.

"A sealing jutsu set to activate upon the caster's death. It swallows up anything close to the caster sealing them within." Kakashi explained.

Kuvira turned to Naruto, "You saved me?" she asked in confusion.

"Of course." Naruto replied.

"But I just tried to destroy you and your friend. And all the stuff I did back then..." Kuvira reminded him of her past.

"All in the past, Kuvira," Naruto reminded her back, "The person you were back then is just a memory. It no longer defines you now. Since your defeat at the hands of Korra you did your time and paid your debts. Maybe some didn't forgive you, but there were plenty who did. And right now you're just a victim of Orochimaru's jutsu called back to do his bidding. And that doesn't mean you deserve to be sealed away like that. You changed Kuvira for the better, and we know it." Naruto said, as he and his friends stood together smiling at her.

Kuvira gasped, as she could see Korra in place of Naruto smiling at her. Kuvira couldn't help but smile and shed a tear, "Korra, you guided this kid well. He truly is worthy to the title you carried." suddenly Kuvira's body started glowing much to everyone's shock.

"What's happening to her?" Ming asked.

Kuvira looked up at them, "My soul's finally free from this reanimated corpse. You reminded me that I'm not the person I used to be, but changed after Korra defeated and helped me. Now I can return to the afterlife in peace and be with my family. Thank you for everything, Naruto Uzumaki." Kuvira said, before her reanimated body crumbled to dust, as her spirit ascended.

Naruto smiled, and spoke "Go at peace, Kuvira."

Yuzuru turned to Danzo's body, "What do we do about him?"

"We'll bring him back to Tsunade-sama," Kakashi began, and spoke to the boys"She's gonna wanna hear all that's happened with you boys." Naruto and Sasuke chuckled sheepishly, as they powered down.

Meanwhile in Orochimaru's lair, the rogue Sannin was once again throwing a tantrum, "NO! First Amon! Now Kuvira?!" he turned a table over.

"And now we only have three more reserved undead benders in your arsenal." Kabuto added.

"I know. Damn that Danzo. If it weren't for him Naruto and Sasuke would be all mine! Still at least he got what was coming to him. But I will not tolerate failure. Next time I strike, those boys will be mine. Even if it takes a hundred years!"

(And there you have it. Naruto and Sasuke with the help of the undead Kuvira defeated Danzo, and Kuvira was able to find peace allowing her to pass on again. Don't miss next time everyone.)
