(Welcome back everyone. Hope you're enjoying the holidays and not worrying too much about snow, shopping rush, and all that. But here I am back with another chapter for you. Enjoy.)

It was one night out in the training field, Sasuke stood before a clearing with his eyes closed. When he opened them he revealed his Mangekyo Sharingan eyes which now looked like a combination of his own Mangekyo and Itachi's giving him the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan. He concentrated as a chakra aura surrounded him taking on the form a purple armored Susanoo much like Itachi's.

Off to the side was Naruto and Sakura who were amazed by it, "Wow, that's just plain awesome." the Avatar said in awe.

"Yeah. Now that Sasuke had Lady Tsunade implant Itachi's eyes into his own weeks ago, he's finally getting control of his new power." Saskura agreed.

"And we'll need them," Naruto replied, "After the fight with the Red Lotus, Orochimaru's no doubt gonna continue to up his game."

"Even so with all of us fighting together, it doesn't matter who Orochimaru sends to attack us." Sakura said.

"All true. As long as we stick together and watch each others backs there's nothing we can't handle." Naruto confirmed, as they sat close to each other while Sasuke powers down his Susanoo.

The very next day Squad Seven was before Tsunade, who had just given them a new mission, "You're sending us to the Land of Snow?" Sakura inquired.

"Yes. You were personally invited by Princess Koyuki Kozahana, but I'm sure you probably know her as Yukie Fujikaze." Shizune explained.

Sakura gasped, "Yukie Fujikaze, the famous actress? She's a real Princess?"

"That's right." Naruto confirmed.

"Wait, you know about her, Naruto?" Sasuke asked.

"Yeah. Years ago while Ero-sennin and I were out traveling, we happened upon her and the film crew shooting scenes for her one movie. And she and several others were attacked by assassins until we stopped them. The director hired us as bodyguards when they were set to go to the Land of Snow, and Ero-sennin had no complaints."

"Obviously." Tsunade agreed.

"So you must've gotten to know the actress personally." Kakashi said.

"Yeah, but she was nothing like the character she played. And I really mean nothing like her."

"How so?" Sakura inquired.

"Everything her Princess character stood for, she acted like she didn't care at all about it. A heart of ice you might say." he joked and laughed.

"Naruto, I hope you never decide to become a full on comedian." Sasuke groaned.

"Anyway on our way there we were faced with more assassins who were hired by her corrupt uncle who usurped the throne when Koyuki's father died and she fled for safety. No matter how many times she would look down upon me because of my hope and belief, I remained true to my teachings and promised her I'd protect her, and we actually managed to give the land a taste of Spring thanks to a heat generator. She resumed the throne while still keeping up with her career as an actress."

"So why personally invite us?" Sakura asked.

Tsunade answered, "Her latest movie is set to be aired in the Land of Snow before it is sent nationwide. And she wants her former bodyguard as well as squad seven he's told her so much about to attend."

"Seems once again your status has made us all lucky, Naruto." Kakashi said.

"Yeah, but this time it's as a ninja hero and not the Avatar." Naruto corrected.

"We actually get to see the newest movie before anyone else!" Sakura cheered, "This is so great."

"And we could use a break." Sasuke admitted.

"Then I suggest you all get packed, and dress warm," Tsunade began, "It's called the Land of Snow for a reason."

"Hai!" they agreed, before leaving to get ready.

Soon enough they were on board a boat bound for the Snow Kingdom. Squad seven looked out into the distance of the sea, as Naruto spoke, "Keep an eye out for glaciers. Once we see them we'll know we're getting close."

"That and when the weather starts getting colder." Kakashi noted.

"Ok, that too." Naruto admitted sheepishly.

When the water started getting choppy, Kakashi went to talk to the captain and came back to speak with his squad, "The captain said the waters gonna be looking rough up ahead so we're going to have to take it slowly."

"Which means we probably won't arrive until tomorrow." Sasuke deduced.

"Exactly." Kakashi eye smiled sheepishly.

"Oh, well, what can ya do?" Naruto asked rhetorically as he just kicked back and relax. Sasuke and Sakura shrugged at each other and decided to kick back with him.

When nighttime arrived, Orochimaru and Kabuto were in their lair, until Zetsu appeared, "I bring news, Orochimaru."

"Speak, Zetsu."

"Squad Seven is currently on their way to the Land of Snow."

Orochimaru suddenly became interested, "The Land of Snow, you say?"

"Yes, by a personal invite by the princess herself."

"How intriguing," Orochimaru snickered, "Conquering that kingdom and land would be a bonus aside from destroying the Avatar."

"But that will require huge numbers, Lord Orochimaru." Kabuto reminded him.

"Not with who I plan on bringing, Kabuto." Orochimaru smirked, and performed the reanimation jutsu. The coffin rose up and the lid fell down. Stepping out from it was Unalaq himself.

Unalaq looked at Orochimaru with cold eyes, and spoke, "I'm assuming you have summoned me because you have plans?"

"Indeed I do, Unalaq. Though you perished one thing remains is you and Vaatu are still bonded," Orochimaru explained, "Your bond may be just what we need to destroy Naruto and his friends."

"I may have lost to Korra, but I will not lose again." Unalaq answered.

"I should hope so. Because Kabuto and I are accompanying you to the Land of Snow."

"We're going as well, my lord?" Kabuto inquired.

"Yes. While Unalaq can handle Naruto, we shall see to it the others are dealt with. After all I have not given up on Sasuke." he licked his lips.

"Then we best leave at once." Kabuto suggested.

"Agreed. I can't wait to see the true battle between the Avatar and the Dark Avatar." Orochimaru snickered, as Unalaq's eyes flicked with the darkness that was Vaatu.

Meanwhile back on the boat bound for the Land of Snow, Naruto was sleeping peacefully, until he started tossing and turning while seeing flashes of of Korra's fight with Unalaq in Republic city. Suddenly he woke up in his mind and saw Kurama and Raava.

"Kurama? Raava? What's going on?" he asked.

Kurama answered, "Don't tell me you didn't feel it, Naruto."

"I felt something, but what is it?"

"A great and powerful evil has descended onto the world." Raava answered.

"It must be really bad if it's got me all shaky," Naruto admitted, as he trembled a bit, "But who is it?"

"There's only one being I know with this amount of evil and power."

"Who is it?" Naruto inquired.

"Vaatu." Raava answered.

At the sound of that name, Naruto stood in shock, before speaking, "Oh, no."

(And so Squad seven is on their way to the Land of Snow. Bad news is Orochimaru is headed there as well with Unalaq and the power of Vaatu at his disposal. Can Naruto overcome the power of the Dark Avatar as Korra did, or does the new Avatar have some plan up his sleeves? See you then.)
