Lisanna sat quietly on a sofa. She had been staring at the two dragon slayers who had been staring at each other ever since they arrived at their hotel. Happy sat next to her, doing the same thing. Luckily, Lector wasn't there, she thought. If not, the cats would be having the staring contest as well.

"Er, Natsu." She tried to break the silence. "Are you having mission in this town?" she asked.

The dragon slayers kept staring at each other. "Sort of," Natsu replied shortly after.

"Hmm, where's Lucy? Did you leave her somewhere?" she asked more.

"Yeah. I left her at the guild," he answered.

Lisanna nodded quietly. She didn't know what else to say to break the silence. The staring contest made the ambience tensed. However, Sting suddenly stood up.

"You haven't eaten anything, don't you?" the white dragon slayer asked Natsu. "Let me show you some cool places around," he added.

Natsu stood up too. And Happy and Lisanna followed.

"I don't need your help," said the fire dragon slayer.

Sting shrugged. He stretched his hand out for Lisanna. "Suit yourself." The moment when she put her hand in his, Natsu grabbed Sting's arm. Stopped the couple.

"You have no right to take her anywhere," he said, glaring into the blonde's eyes.

Sting 'tsk'ed.

"And what kind of right do you have to stop her anyway?" Sting asked. He adjusted his body facing Natsu.

"Guys…er…maybe…"

Sting's hand still holding Lisanna's hand, while Natsu still had his hand on Sting's arm. His arm turned red at where Natsu was holding even though the grab wasn't that hard. The white-haired's eyes had been switching between the two dragon slayers.

BAMM!

The rented place's door suddenly fell onto the floor. The four's pairs of eyes turned to it.

"I didn't tell you to break the door down!" A familiar voice heard from behind the broken door.

Sting quickly pushed Lisanna behind him. Natsu glanced at his action before turned back to the door.

"Sorry. We didn't mean to break the door." The voice's figure appeared with some friends. "Gajeel is impatient, as always," said Levy while caressing dust off her own hair.

"Levy-chan?" Lisanna peeked from behind the white dragon slayer. "Eh, Lucy?"

"Hi…" Lucy greeted nervously. Especially when Natsu glared at her.

Levy pushed her forward and said something inaudibly. Lucy mouthed an 'okay'. The blonde girl paced stutteringly toward the Sabertooth mage. She almost stopped when Natsu suddenly voiced, "What are you doing here?"

But then she ignored the fire dragon slayer and shook Sting's hand. The dragon slayer and the take-over mage stared at her curiously.

"Hi, I'm Lucy Heartfilia. We've met before," she introduced herself, grinningly.

"I know who you are," Sting said. Lucy chuckled nervously.

"And, those are Levy, Gajeel and Pantherlily," she introduced her friends.

"I know them too," he said.

Lucy chuckled more to hide her nervousness. "Hi, Lisanna-chan!" she greeted the white-haired girl before glanced at Levy. Lisanna just raised her hand confusingly.

Lucy gulped. If Gajeel hadn't hit the door down, they would've still been outside, peeping on the intense conversation between the two dragon slayers.

"I heard that you haven't eaten anything," she said to Natsu. "Since there are many people around, why don't we have barbeque? The more the merrier," she suggested. "Ne, Levy-chan?" She glanced sharply at Levy.

"Yes! Absolutely!" Levy quickly answered.

Lucy quickly grabbed Natsu by his arm and pulled him to the door. "Let's go and find all the things we need!" Natsu couldn't even say a word when the stellar mage pulled him out of the rented room. The other Fairy Tail mages followed, left the love bird alone.

"Barbeque is nice, right?" Lisanna asked grinningly.

Sting stared at her with unsatisfied face.

"What? I didn't invite them!" she said, as if she understood his stare.

He shrugged. "Then, you should've known if they were following you," he replied. Sting walked to the door with his hands in his pockets. Lisanna followed him with a pouted mouth.

"Of course I would. Maybe they accidentally found us here and they dropped by," she said.

"Yeah, accidentally found us. A very strong reason for a salamander to suddenly find us with such a very great entrance," he said, paused at the door.

Lisanna narrowed her eyes.

"So, you think that he followed me here?" The dragon slayer didn't reply, instead he just walked out of the door.

She quickened her pace and closed the door behind her. "You're jealous, aren't you?!" she shouted, made him stopped halfway.

She raised her left brow when he turned back to her. He walked back to her, and he didn't stop even though their bodies touched, made the girl stepped backward. Suddenly he grabbed her on her waist and pulled her close to his body. She almost shrieked. He drew his face closer to her.

"I don't give a fuck if he's here for else. But he intends to take you away from me; I'm not intended to give in anyway," he said.

She gaped. "I…Maybe strength is not the only way to resort things," she said stutteringly.

He slowly loosened his grip on her waist. "I'm good either way," he added.

He then let her go and resumed his walk. She inhaled a huge amount of air and puffed her cheeks. After that, she exhaled all at once and ran after him and slid her hand around his arm. He turned to her grinning face.

"What?" he asked. Her grin grew wider.

She shook her head and replied, "I like it."

He glanced again at her with questionable look. Made her chuckled.

"When you're jealous. I like it."

They were lucky that the only park in town was not much occupied. It was dark when they just finished making fire. The girls started arranging the food on the glowing coal. They sat around the fire. The three dragon slayers sat far from each other. Gajeel sat with his black cat, while Natsu with his blue cat. Sting sat alone as his cat wasn't there. He stared at the girls, although he wasn't actually watching them. Natsu had his eyes on the white dragon slayer and didn't move his eyes away even a second. Lisanna suddenly had her seat next to Sting made the white dragon slayer and the fire dragon slayer a bit surprised. She moved closer to him, got their shoulders touched, and then she slid her hand around his arm. Sting unconsciously stared at her, but then he quickly turned away as he felt his burning cheeks. His eyes met Natsu's. He saw the hatred in his eyes. He turned back to Lisanna, found out that she leaned her head on his shoulder.

"Don't you think you should go and help the girls?" he asked.

She shook without lifting her head.

"Nope. I have a better job." Her answer made him confused. "I'm taking care of you," she added. She heard his light chuckle.

"Maybe you should take care of your bestfriend over there. He has been watching me," he said, slowly rested his chin on her head.

Lisanna quickly lifted her head, hit Sting's chin.

"Ah!" he half-shouted.

"Sorry. You alright?" she asked, gently brushed on his chin. She looked a bit worried.

"No, it's nothing," he said while brushed on her head.

"You really want me to go there?" she asked, motioned her eyes toward the fire dragon slayer. She noticed how he had been watching them.

His hand had been brushed her head instantly grabbed her hand which doing the same thing.

"Nope." He put their hands around her and pulled her back closed to his body. Then he wrapped his other arm around her and placed his chin on her shoulder. "You're here with me now, so give me all your attention. You can go to him when I'm not around."

She giggled lightly.

"So, when you're not around, I can do anything I want?" He nodded. "With him?" she added.

He stopped and looked at her. She giggled when she saw his serious face staring at her.

"You can do anything you want with me. But when with him…just as a friend," he said.

She continued giggled.

"How about…just as a bestfriend?" she asked.

He snorted while muttering, "Acceptable." Which made her giggled even more.

Lucy glanced at the couple. Then she turned back to the fire.

"They really love each other," she said to no one.

Levy glanced to Lucy, and raised her brows. "Lucy?"

"Hm? Oh, nothing. Just…Look at the lovebirds." They glanced at them. "I guess we can trust him," she said.

Levy chuckled. "But you DID trust him, didn't you?"

Lucy inhaled deep and exhaled all at once. Then she carved a smile.

"Right, ne~"

Levy glanced at Lucy once in a while. She could read all the signs of worries on the blonde's face. And she understood why she felt like that. Someone that had a heart like Lucy would always have such feelings.

"Gosh, I'm starving!"

Gajeel suddenly joined the two girls. His cat sat in front of him, across the fire. The partners took the food that had just finished being grilled and put them in their mouth.

"Wow, this is good!" Gajeel said. He took a bite of medium-sized beef.

Unnoticed to him, the girls and the cat stared at him. Neither of them moved, even an inch. Lucy gaped and almost drooled. However, when he noticed, he stopped eating, with some left of a fish.

"What the fuck are you staring at?" he asked, glared at his stunned audiences.

Lucy gulped and wiped her not-drooling mouth. Levy slowly turned her head toward Pantherlily, which the cat did the same. They stared at each other for another seconds before they turned back to him.

"You ate," the cat said.

Gajeel narrowed his eyes.

"What kind of a fucking question is that?" he asked.

"I mean…"

"…you eat metal bars…" Levy continued.

"I never thought you eat real food," Lucy added.

Gajeel stared at each face in front of him.

"What the hell do you think I am?! Of course I would eat this kind of food!" he shouted.

Bits of food gushed onto their faces. Lucy took them off her face with the tips of her fingers.

"What the hell did you do? Can't you eat properly!" she shouted to his face.

"Can't you stop shouting?! And, I can fucking eat the fucking way I want to eat!" Gajeel shouted back.

Levy and Pantherlily sighed while glancing at each other. Ignoring the two currently hot-headed mages, they ate.

"You're not going to eat this until you know how to eat properly!" said Lucy, took all the food into her hands.

Gajeel – seeing that Lucy was taking the food all to her – quickly grabbed as much as he could. They were, like, racing who would collect the most. At one point, they reach for the same stick of meatballs, and neither of them volunteer to let go. Lucy gave all her strength against the iron dragon slayer to prevent him from take what's already in her hand. However, Gajeel with greater strength pulled the meatballs' stick away from her hand.

"Hey!" she shouted.

Gajeel grinned with his winning meatballs' stick, accidently hit another dragon slayer who at first was not interested in the dumb fight.

"What the hell are you fucking around?!" It was Natsu's turn to shout.

He pushed Lucy and Gajeel away from each other and sat between them. He even pushed them a little more to provide him more space. Gajeel was pushed closer to Levy that she had to move too to reduce their awkward distance. Lucy had to take Pantherlily into her arms to ease her move when Natsu pushed her.

"Oi! What the fuck are you doing?!" Gajeel shouted to the fire dragon slayer. His hand had to hold Levy as the bluenette took much time to move. As for Levy, she had to clung on Gajeel's shirt to avoid from falling on her back.

"Do you think I would let you finish all the meatballs?!" Natsu shouted back.

He tried to take meatball sticks from Gajeel and Lucy. Both avoided as much as they can. Then Natsu started using his fire to get the meatballs by force. Gajeel quickly shielded himself with his iron, and Lucy summoned one of her spirit to protect her, Taurus. Happy tried as hard as he can to help Natsu.

"I guess barbeque is not a good choice for Fairy Tail," Levy sighed, took seat next to Lisanna.

Lisanna and Sting glanced at her, before returned to the brawl between two dragon slayers and a celestial mage. Pantherlily sat next to Sting, nudged the white dragon slayer and offered him a stick of meatball.

"I thought Gajeel was the most matured," he sighed.

Sting, still holding Lisanna in his arms, raised his brow. "The most matured among who?" he asked.

Lisanna had just taken a meatball stick from Levy, and both girls were waited for the cat's answer.

"Well…among dragon slayers," the cat said.

And then, all of them sighed heavily.

(-/-)

They had agreed that they would meet less so that they could spend more time with their family. Plus Sting is the guildmaster, so he had many things to do as the guildmaster of Sabertooth. So, she decided to spend time in Fairy Tail. Some had invited her to mission but she refused with the excuse of taking some rest.

The Raijinshuu and Laxus had just arrived from their latest mission. Without further ado, Laxus walked to his spot at the second floor while his friends spent their time with the other members of Fairy Tail. Lisanna' eyes followed the lightning dragon slayer till he disappeared on the second floor. She quickly grabbed a big glass of beer and ran up to the second floor.

"Hey."

His eyes closed, but obviously he wasn't sleeping. She carefully placed the beer on the table in front of him and sat next to him.

"Why are you always looked tired after coming back from mission?" She knew he wasn't sleeping.

"I cannot be tired after completing a tiring mission?" he asked back, earned him a chuckle.

"I couldn't see how hard a mission could be for the Raijinshuu and you. You're one of the strongest mages in Fairy Tail," she said.

He opened his eyes and glared at her by the end of his eyes. He could see her stupid grin.

"We couldn't say you're the strongest anymore, right? We have Natsu and Erza," she added, and glanced at him as he lifted his back and turned to her. She could see he hated being compared with those two. "And Mira-nee. And Gajeel." The list went on. "And Juvia. And Wendy. In her own way."

"You're counting, aren't you?" he asked, stopped the girl. And the question only replied with a wide grin. He leaned back and closed his eyes. "Don't you have any other things to do besides bothering me as soon as I arrived back from mission?"

"Am I bothering you?" she asked back.

"So, how's your boyfriend? I heard you had some barbeque the other day."

"Good. As you said, he's a guildmaster. So I have to give him some spaces for his jobs."

"He's too young for a guildmaster. I wonder if Sabertooth's doing well."

"Are you jealous that he became a guildmaster at such a young age, earlier that you? And I think Sabertooth is doing well."

"I just need to wait till the old man died."

"There's a lo~ng way to go. Good luck with that." She had stood up from the sofa but she sat back. "I never thought you hear gossips."

"What gossips?" he asked, opened just one eye.

"The barbeque," she said.

"That is not gossips. I don't listen to gossips. Waste my life," he said, closed his eyes back.

"I don't know where you got all that. You weren't here when we're back," she said, and climbed back on her feet.

"I have my own source. Now go and get me some food," he ordered.

"Ye~s!"

Lisanna ran down the stairs and straight into the kitchen. Mirajane who was just came out of the kitchen looked a little bit confused with her energetic sister. Then she noticed that Laxus and the gang had just back.

"I didn't notice that you're back." She went up to the second floor to check on the lightning mage.

"You siblings really had nothing to do better than bothering me taking a little nap?" he asked.

Mirajane chuckled. "I do, but she doesn't. She really enjoys your company around," she said.

"I didn't. She does nothing but bothering me."

Mirajane placed a plate of steak on the table and filled the glass.

"Since you get along very well, maybe you can help me look after her," she suggested.

Laxus opened his eyes. He looked rather sleepy.

"You want me babysit your sister? Do I look like I have nothing to do around here? And she is big enough to take care of herself!" he asked, obviously pissed off.

Mirajane already on her way down. Then she turned back smilingly.

"Why not?"

Laxus growled. "That smile is not gonna work on me," he replied.

Lisanna who was on her way up with a tray of food met her sister who was on her way down.

"You've brought Laxus his meal?" she asked.

"I did, but I don't think he'll eat." Mirajane walked past her sister.

Lisanna glanced at her tray, wondered if she should bring it to Laxus or not.

"Just take it to him. And bring the one I gave to him just now," Mirajane said.

Lisanna smiled and followed her sister down.

"I don't think so. Laxus eats whatever you give him." Mirajane glanced at her. "I'll take this to someone else," she whispered to her older sister as she reached the ground, and then returned behind the bar.

Laxus who was trying to sleep sighed. Couldn't help that being a dragon slayer possessed very sensitive ears, he just pretended that he didn't listen to all the stupid conversations. "That girl is really getting on my nerve," he mumbled.

Finally, a long chapter made! Next chapter would take some times, but I hope not too much time...hehe
