(Welcome back everyone. Hope everyone's looking forward to the holidays even more now that it's coming down to the wire. I want you all to relax and enjoy this chapter.)

The next morning, as the boat was getting closer to the Land of Snow, Naruto was speaking to his squad about what he felt last night, "Could you run that by us again?" Sasuke asked.

Naruto sighed, "Last night Raava felt the presence of Vaatu descend upon the living world."

"Vaatu as in the spirit of chaos and darkness?" Sakura asked in shock.

"One and the same." the Avatar confirmed.

"How's that possible?" Sasuke asked.

Naruto began, "As you all know Unalaq, the former leader of the Northern Water Tribe wanted to rule both water tribes as well as the spirits of the spirit world. He tried to use Korra to open both portals, but only made her open one. So he hand his children used their power to open the Northern portal where he entered the spirit world. He then was able to free Vaatu during Harmonic Convergence and merge with him creating the Dark Avatar."

"Yikes." Sakura gasped.

"Yikes is right," Naruto replied, "He succeeded in not only severing Korra's link to the past Avatars but destroyed Raava as well. However when one of them is destroyed they will emerge from the other good as new. When Korra regained a newly revived Raava they spirit-bended the Dark Avatar destroying them both."

"So if Raava sensed Vaatu return..." Kakashi started, as Naruto finished.

"Orochimaru has brought back Unalaq from the dead, and Vaatu as well."

"But if Raava was reborn from what light that was inside Vaatu, shouldn't Vaatu have been reborn from the darkness inside Raava?" Sasuke wondered.

"That's what I thought too, but since the two were spirit-bended together their bond remained the same even in death. When Unalaq was revived so was Vaatu."

"So somewhere out there is the zombie of a dark version of the Avatar?" Sakura asked.

"Afraid so," Naruto confirmed, "And if he is then Orochimaru is no doubt sending him to find me."

"And if he does come here, we must make sure the Princess is informed of this so her own army can be on high alert," Kakashi noted, as Naruto nodded, "And we won't have to wait long," he motioned to the land up ahead, "Bundle up, everyone." Squad seven made sure to bundle up so they'd be nice and warm.

When their boat docked, they were greeted by some guards who escorted them to the castle. Upon entering said castle, they looked and saw sitting on a throne was a beautiful woman with long black hair with bangs that swept on each side of her face and light blue eyes. Sakura looked up at her while feeling awed by her beauty, while the boys remained calm.

One of the guards announced, "Announcing Squad Seven of Konoha!"

Naruto waved and called, "Hi, Princess!"

The Princess known as Koyuki got up from her throne and approached them. She stopped before them and embraced Naruto like old friends, "It's good to see you again, Naruto. It has been such a long time."

"I know. You look like you're doing well ruling this place and keeping up with your acting."

"I told you I could handle both." she teased, before looking at the others, "And this is the squad you told me so much about?"

"That's right. Let me introduce you. This is Kakashi-sensei, Sakura, and Sasuke," he began, "Guys, this is Princess Koyuki."

"We are honored to meet you, ma'am." Kakashi said, as they bowed their heads.

"And the same to all of you," she replied, "Naruto's told me so much about you three when he and Jiraiya-sama were escorting me back here against my will." she chuckled.

"Yeah back when you closed yourself off from emotions." Naruto joked.

Koyuki smiled, "I am so glad you accepted my invitation to come and see the premiere of my latest movie."

Sakura answered, "And pass up such an opportunity? I don't think so."

"But before we get into that, we should warn you about something, Princess." Kakashi said.

"And what is that, Kakashi?" Koyuki inquired.

"We may be in for a bit of trouble some time soon or who knows when." he answered.

"Trouble?"

"Sit down, Koyuki, it's a long story." Naruto instructed.

Meanwhile far from the Land of Snow, Orochimaru and Kabuto who were bundled up were running across the waters heading for the Snow Country. Zombie Unalaq on the other hand was using his Waterbending to surf across the waters next to the two. He spoke to the two shinobi, "How much further?"

"Not far now." Kabuto answered.

"I'm hoping you will be able to do away with this Avatar better than the last one, Unalaq." Orochimaru warned him.

"I assure you, Orochimaru, I will not make the same mistake as I did before. I will not only rip Raava apart this time, I will destroy the Avatar for good. And with Vaatu at my side, it'll be no problem at all."

"I will hold you too it, because this boy has power that precious Korra did not."

"Then I look forward to seeing what this boy is capable of." Unalaq smirked.

Back at the castle, Koyuki and Squad Seven were in a parlor room enjoying a hot cup of tea, while Naruto was explaining to her what he told his team on the boat, "So you see the dangers that may lie ahead, Princess." he finished.

"This does sound troubling," she admitted, "And after all the stories you told me about the past Avatars and who they've fought, I believe it."

"Then you'll make sure to have your guards doubled and stationed everywhere?" Kakashi inquired.

"Yes. I will not let my family's home fall prey to another wishing to do harm rather than good." Koyuki promised.

Naruto smiled, "That's the Princess I remember."

"The movie premiere won't be until tomorrow, so feel free to relax and enjoy my hospitality." she told them.

"Thank you kindly." Kakashi replied. And so the group continued to explore the land of Snow around the castle.

When nighttime came, squad seven were in assigned rooms and catching some shut eye. As Naruto slept he was feeling at peace, until the Avatar markings of Raava glowed on his body. He woke up panting and gasped, "He's getting closer. I have to warn everyone!" he got out of bed and got changed before leaving his room.

Meanwhile outside the castle and the kingdom, Orochimaru, Kabuto, and Unalaq stood on the icy terrain while looking up at the castle, "Hmm. Orochimaru, after I defeat the Avatar, would it be ok if I took this place as my own?" Unalaq inquired.

"We'll see." Orochimaru replied, as Kabuto smirked.

"By now Naruto's probably sensed we're here." Kabuto said.

"Yes, Raava and Vaatu can sense the presence of one another, as can I and Naruto." Unalaq explained.

"So let's go greet them." Orochimaru suggested, as the three got closer to the kingdom.

After Naruto has alerted everyone, he, his squad, and Koyuki were waiting by the castle entrance as guards surrounded the place, "I certainly hope, we can stop this Unalaq." Koyuki said in worry.

"Don't worry. Just make sure your guards protect the civilians, and leave him to us." Naruto told her.

Suddenly the gates exploded open and stepping into the clear was Unalaq, "Sorry, I tend to knock big." he joked.

"There he is." Sakura gasped.

"Unalaq." Naruto squinted his eyes.

Sasuke looked ahead of him and gasped, "And he's not alone."

Squad Seven looked and saw Orochimaru and Kabuto stand by Unalaq's side, "Orochimaru and Kabuto are here too?" Kakashi asked in surprise.

"This complicates things," Sakura said, "What do we do, sensei?"

"You and I will handle Orochimaru and Kabuto," Kakashi began, before turning to the boys, "You two will handle Unalaq."

"Right." they agreed, before running ahead past the guards.

As the villains approached, Orochimaru suddenly stopped them, "The welcoming committee has arrived," Squad seven appeared before them, "Greetings all, nice weather around here, isn't it?"

"You really shouldn't have come here, Orochimaru." Kakashi warned him.

"Oh, but I just had to. Especially when I brought a special guest. Just for you, Naruto." Orochimaru made way for Unalaq.

Unalaq eyed the blonde Avatar Shinobi, and spoke, "So this is Korra's successor? Naruto, is it?"

"That's right. And I know all about you, Unalaq. Can't say I'm impressed at all."

Unalaq frowned, "Mouthy brat, do you have any idea who you're talking too?"

"Short list or long list?" Naruto asked rhetorically.

Orochimaru groaned, "Oh, enough with all this. Unalaq, do away with the Avatar, but Sasuke is mine." he licked his lip."

Kakashi and Sakura blocked his way, "We're not letting you near Sasuke." Sakura warned him.

"Look at that, Lord Orochimaru, they think they can stop us." Kabuto said amusingly.

"Then let's humor them, Kabuto." Orochimaru said, as the two got ready.

"Then I'll take my opponent." Unalaq used Waterbending to propel himself over Kakashi and Sakura and landed before Naruto and Sasuke.

Naruto got into a stance, as Sasuke drew his main sword. The undead Waterbender and two shinobi started fighting resulting in them getting separated from their comrades.

Kakashi and Sakura stared down Orochimaru and Kabuto, as the one eyed shinobi spoke to the kunoichi, "You ready, Sakura?"

"You bet, sensei." Sakura confirmed, as she dawned her brown gloves.

A split screen appeared with Naruto and Sasuke facing down Unalaq was on top while the bottom half had Kakashi and Sakura facing down Orochimaru and Kabuto. Two groups were ready to go at it and keep the Snow Country safe.

(And there's the chapter. Don't miss next time where it's a two way battle, and Naruto must do something to stop Unalaq from using Vaatu's power to really bring darkness upon the land. Hope everyone has a Happy Holiday.)
