Alright, let's continue from where we left. Enjoy!

Laxus entered his room. The house was quiet by the time he arrived. It was almost midnight. Grandpa must have slept. Those drunk mages at the guild either had gone home or passed out with their beers. He took off his furry coat. It felt very quiet. And he had nothing gone in mind. He didn't know what to think actually. He stared at his bed for a few seconds. Blankly. He felt so lonely. Like there was something missing. And he couldn't name what's missing. He slowly unbuttoned his purple shirt one by one. His eyes stared into blank. Then he took it off and threw it on his bed.

A cracking sound from his door made him spun around, unexpected to be greeted by soft lips on his. He couldn't see the owner, but it felt good. The kiss was light, not forceful. He could feel small waist of a slender body as his hands fell on the owner's waist and climbed up her back. He slowly pulled her closer, and her delicate arms wrapped around his neck.

They broke the kiss, gasping for air. His eyes met a pair of bright blue orbs.

"Mira?"

She stared up to him, neither smile on her face.

"What are you...?"

She interfered the question with another kiss. Her hands ran through his hair, lightly pulled him closer to her. He was intended to push her away but the kiss melted him. The soft lips brushed against his and parted asking for entrance. He opened his mouth slightly and gently allowed his tongue in and explored her mouth. He felt a sweet of honey and tea with a bit essence of lemon. She tasted so good. He moved his lips away and bit her lower lip. He kissed the side of her jaw and trailed down to her neck. She arched her back, her breath accelerated, moaned to the kisses.

Suddenly he pushed her away. His hands still on her shoulders. He gazed at the white-haired woman. 'This is wrong,' he thought. His chest and shoulders moved up and down rapidly.

"Laxus?" she called, searched for his eyes.

"I'm sorry." He released her shoulders and turned his back to her.

He put on his shirt - without buttoned it back - and grabbed his furry coat from his bed and stomped out of the door. The door slammed close loudly behind him. Mirajane left confused. She stood there for a moment, stared blankly to the door.

A light knock on the door startled her.

"He's gone. You should go home too." She heard Makarov's concerned, old voice from the other side of the door.

She was still not moving. Stared to the door blankly. Her confused face slowly frowned down. After a while she thought the guild master might have left, she turned the knob slowly. Popped her head out through the door, scanned the outside space of the room. Then, she quickly, almost running, out of the house.

Lucy had to drag a drunk Natsu home. She had to ask Levy to take care of Happy for another night. Natsu kept mumbling about taking down the Sabertooth mage and even kill him. As she arrived back at her house, she threw the fire dragon slayer on her bed. The mage eventually slept. Lucy sat on a chair, stared at the mage.

She wondered what made Natsu like that? He denied that he fancied her but the way he treated the white-haired girl's boyfriend showed otherwise. The day he found out that Lisanna started dating the Sabertooth's guild master, he went on rage. Another thing, he admitted that he had taken a like on someone, just that he didn't bother to confess his feeling. Natsu was not someone you could easily read his romantic feelings. People would even belief if they say that he never experienced love.

Natsu woke up after about fifteen minutes of sleeping and mumbling and rambling. His eyes drooped and he sat by the edge of the bed.

"It's already late," Lucy said, not arose from her chair. "You should go back to sleep."

He stood up and headed to the door.

"Where are you going?" She asked, turned on her heels but still stood by the chair.

"I must go back to the guild. I have to make sure that that bastard don't do anything worse to Lisanna." He held the door knob.

He looked a bit sleepy. His hair was a mess. But he was serious.

"Instead of you trying solving their problem, why don't you solve our problem first?"

He already turned the door knob, then he closed the door back. He turned to the celestial mage.

"What do you mean?"

Lucy walked toward the dragon slayer, putting her hands behind her back. Her lips curved into a smile.

"About us," she said, made her way to him.

Natsu turned, fully faced her. His brows raised in question.

"You..." Lucy pulled his collar, brought his face closer to her. "...made me anxious with your secret girl. It's alright now. " She moved her lips to his ear. "We are here," she whispered. Her breath brushed against his neck, sent shivers down his spine.

"Luce..."

Lucy stared into his eyes. He was fully awake. Then she drew closer to his face, stood on her toes to match his height.

"Lucy..."

He stunned when her pink lips touched his pale ones, even though he had expected it. Lucy's hands moved from his abdomen to cupping his face. Natsu pulled her body against him, and leaned his back roughly on the door.

Once they broke for air, Natsu stared to the girl, his partner for some times now.

Laxus stopped in the dark. He wasn't running away. He was just...trying to clear his mind. He tried...to clear his judgement. For once he admitted. He does adore Mirajane Strauss. He never saw her as how he looked at other women. She was a different league. Different from him.

He sat down on a bench near the port. He gazed into the dark sea.

"I thought you were expecting your reward."

He recognized the voice. She sat right next to him.

"You always take things seriously," he finally answered, after a while of contented silent.

"Yes, I do."

He could see her smile without even glancing at her.

"I..."

"You are dating my friend," he cut in.

"We were just having dinner." She felt his sharp glanced stabbed through her. "A few dinners," she added.

"He is very happy. Even though it was just a dinner," he said.

She heard to giggle lightly, made him a bit confused and mad.

"What?"

"We were growing up together, and after all those years I finally found Laxus Dreyar shows his cares toward the feelings of his friends, his family," she told him.

Those light laughs soothed him somehow. He quiet. Just listened to her light giggles which soon ended, that then listened to her soft breaths.

"I...I was glad to see how glad you were when you see Lisanna again. I expected how it would be at the guild at that time, but I didn't know how you would react to it."

"Lisanna..." He spoke. "No one could replace her."

Mirajane nodded.

"I...I've been playing matchmaker to the guild every single day." She chuckled. "Cana once said that I should take one day off and find one for myself."

Laxus just listened to her.

"Actually I don't have to find one for me, because I already found one," she said. She inhaled deeply and exhaled with chuckles. "But he doesn't ready. That's okay. I'll wait till him ready." She turned her blue eyes to him but not exactly looked at him. "I'll wait until YOU ready."

Laxus didn't move. He listened to everything she said. She then leaned closer and kissed him on his cheek. "Goodnight, Laxus," she whispered, then turned on her heels and walked away.

Laxus remained on the bench. He wasn't confused but he didn't understand what she was looking into him. What she was hoping for him?

Sting entered the infirmary. The guild had empty and Mirajane entrusted her little sister to him. Were Fairy Tails all like that? Simply trust people whoever they were. Well, that was how he met the cheerful white-haired girl.

There was the girl. Some bruises on her face, her left arm plastered, her leg bandaged. She looked awful. But she looked calm in her sleep.

Sting sat on a chair beside the bed. Lector jumped onto the bed, sat next to her good arm.

"We'll take care of her, right Lector?" He asked his partner, half whispered, not to wake up the girl. The cat replied with a cheerful 'Yup!' The cat lied down next to her comfortably.

Sting touched her plastered arm. Then he held her fingers on her stomach. He rested his head on his other arm, turned his face sideway, watched her slept. Soon, he slept too.

The eyes opened, revealed the bright blue eyes. She looked around. The place looked familiar. Of course. It is Fairy Tail! But...she turned to her sides. There was a red exceed and a blonde young man. She recognized them very much. How'd they end up at Fairy Tail? Her movement checking around the place woke the exceed. The cat brushed his big eyes while looked at her.

"You woke up, yup?" He asked.

Lisanna turned to him, slowly rested his head back on the pillow. The cat already sat up.

"What are you guys doing here? This is Fairy Tail," she asked, a bit panicked.

"Yup, we're in Fairy Tail," the cat answered.

"Yeah, but what are YOU guys doing here too?" She asked again.

"We brought you back. Yup."

"And they didn't attack you?"

The cat shook his head. "Nope."

She felt a bit relieved, but still, it wasn't quite right.

"There was one guy. His hair is pink. He was pinned on the wall by Erza for coming to us. Yup."

Her eyes widened in amusement. "Really? Erza did? Why?"

The cat shrugged. He brushed his eyes.

"I'm sorry that you stuck here," she said.

"Sting wants us to protect you. Yup." He sounded less enthused rather than sleepy.

She smiled.

"You don't have to. I'm fine," she assured.

"Sting could have save you." He frowned, looked down to the bedsheet. "I pulled him back up."

"You saved him. You should be proud of that," she consoled him.

"Sting loves you. He'd rather die than seeing you die." He was somewhat regretted something.

"He loves you too. We know that," she said.

"Maybe I should let him save you from the fall...yup..."

"You didn't want him to save me?"

The cat sighed.

"I don't know. I just don't like you. You knew that." He pouted his mouth. Lisanna smiled to the cat's confession. She pulled him into her arms and hugged him tightly.

"Yeah, I knew that. I think Sting knew that too. But I like you very much."

"I'm sorry," the cat said, turned his face to her.

"What for?"

"Not saving you."

Lisanna chuckled lightly. "Don't have to. You saved Sting. I'm proud of you for that."

"But he would be able to save you if I didn't pull him up. And you won't be like this."

She caressed his little head.

"Sting loves you. You've been together, like forever. He will never replaced you with somebody else. Not even me." The frown on his face died down a little, but he still looked sad. "If you let me, we can take care of Sting together."

The cat nodded weakly. He slowly laid down next to her. Lisanna brushed his head gently, and then she turned to the sleeping dragon slayer. She held his hand that holding her visible fingers. Her lips curved into a smile.
