Ozai shot off form his spot surrounded by a fiery aura, as Naruto and Sasuke engaged him in hand to hand combat, "Not bad for a zombie." Naruto said, as he blocked Ozai's strikes, before using a chakra arm to grab him and throw him aside.
Ozai landed on his feet and Firebended fireballs at Naruto. Sasuke jumped in and twirled his two swords to deflect the shots. Ozai took notice of one of the swords and spoke, "So you wield the sword of that miserable little fool Sokka."
Sasuke gripped his swords, as his Mangekyo kept active, "Never insult a great man like Chief Sokka in front of me." the two friends continued to engage Ozai, while Orochimaru called to the White Zetsu's.
"Attack!" the White Zetsu army charged into battle. On the opposite side, the Konoha shinobi, Benders, and Fu charged as well.
In the Land of Lightning, the Cloud and Earth Shinobi started fighting the White Zetsu army with all their might. The Earth shinobi were using their natural Earth style jutsu, as the Cloud shinobi were mostly using Lightning based style jutsu.
Bee was running around while using his tailed beast chakra, "Let's see how ya like my Lariat!" he called, as he plowed through multiple White Zetsu's.
Yugito who also had her own tailed beast chakra activated extended her fingernails making them longer and sharp, "This kitty's got more than claws. Meow!" she called, as she used her nails to slice down her opponents.
Roushi formed hand signatures, as lava started coating him, "Lava style: Scorching Armored Fist." he started attacking the White Zetsus that burned upon contact with his lava fists. Han used the furnace he carried on his back to emit steam which boosted his speed making him plow through his enemies like Bee did.
A and Oonoki were using their power power to combat the army, as A spoke to the Tsuchikage, "Doesn't this take you back to your prime days, Oonoki?"
"All that and more." Oonoki answered, as he used particle style jutsu to eliminate multiple White Zetsus.
In Suna's desert, the Sand and Mist shinobi were using all their jutsu to take on the giant snakes, while keeping distance from the reptiles mouths. Gaara was using his manipulation of the desert sand to hold the snakes down to give the shinobi an opening.
"Keep it steady, Gaara!" Yagura said, as he, and Utakata concentrated and assumed their tailed beast forms allowing their beasts control.
"Ready for this, Saiken?" Isobu asked.
"Always." Saiken agreed, as they engaged the snakes.
Back in the Land of Fire, the Konoha shinobi and their allies were dealing with their White Zetsu opponents. Yamato used his wood restraints to bind some, but others were coming at him from behind.
Before they could attack Yamato, they were pierced by Shadows courtesy of Shikamaru,"nice one, Shikamaru!" Chouji cheered.
"Chouji, heads up!" Ino called, as she and Naomi Firebended two White Zetsus that were about to pounce him.
"Thanks, girls." he said, as he used his expansion jutsu on his arms to grab two more White Zetsus and squeeze the life out of them.
Shino used his ninja insects to swarm around some of his enemies that sucked the chakra out of them. Hinata used a combination of the gentle fist art along with Waterbending from water she stored in a canteen she was carrying.
"All right, Akamaru, let's do this," Kiba told his partner who stood by his side. In a poof of smoke, the two changed into a giant two-headed version of Akamaru, "Dual Wolf Fang!" he performed his spinning technique that took out many White Zetsus.
Lee and Guy were performing tag team Taijutsu moves, while Tenten unleashed her barrage of weapons on the White Zetsu Army, and Neji used the Gentle fist art to strike at his opponents.
Mitsuki and Sakura were using their Earthbending to trap some of the White Zetsu's, but they ended up phasing out of it, "Earthbending won't have any affect on them." Mitsuki gasped.
"Good thing I got other ways." Sakura said, as she started using her raw strength, before throwing metal disks. She used her Metalbending to bend the disks and made them cut the White Zetsus down to size.
Kakashi was using his own techniques to take out the White Zetsus, as Mako jumped ina nd used Firebending to help him, "This certainly takes me back to my younger days." the elder told Kakashi.
"Same here." Bolin agreed, as he and Opal fought side by side.
The Airbending siblings used their Airbending to blow the White Zetsu back, allowing their ninja allies to finish them, "If dad were here right now, he'd be so proud of us." Meelo told his siblings.
"He sure would be." Jinora agreed.
Oorchimaru, Zetsu, and Kabuto watched from a distance as the two sides fought, "The Konoha shinobi are formidable." Zetsu noted.
"Yes," Kabuto agreed, "The White Zetsus are holding their own, but they're still dropping."
"Luckily they're just there for diversion," Orochimaru reminded them, while motioning to Ozai fighting Naruto and Sasuke, "He's our real trump card."
Ozai fought Naruto and Sasuke hand to hand, before gaining some distance, "Here's a little something I didn't have last time!" he formed hand signs and used the fireball jutsu.
"The fireball jutsu?" Sasuke gasped, as he and Naruto jumped aside.
"How's that possible?" Naruto asked.
Ozai answered, "Orochimaru and Kabuto tweaked my new body out allowing me to both bend and use jutsu."
"Well, this is your first time using it. We've been able to use it for years." Sasuke said, as he used the phoenix flower jutsu.
Ozai dodged the fire shots, only for Naruto to drop in on him with four shadow clones. Ozai fought the clones who held their own, while the real Naruto was forming a giant Rasengan from Sage chakra he was secretly building up. When Ozai defeated the clones he heard the real one shout, "Hey, Ozai! Here's looking at ya!" he shoved it right at the undead Fire Lord sending him flying across the terrain.
Sasuke spoke, "Naruto, go! Before he reforms himself!"
Naruto nodded, and used his Airbending to launch himself in the direction Ozai flew. He got close and could see Ozai's body was slowly starting to reform, "I gotta stop this now." he was about to Energybend Ozai, until popping up from the ground was the original White Zetsu.
"Surprise!" he called, as his body started wrapping around Naruto's binding him.
"Let me go!" he struggled.
"Don't move it only makes it tighter." White Zetsu chuckled.
While Naruto was suddenly dealing with the original White Zetsu, the Cloud and Earth shinobi in the Land of Lightning, the White Zetsu army had finally been eliminated. Medic shinobi were already dispatched to treat the wounds of those who could still be saved.
Oonoki sighed in relief as he sat down, "I haven't had this much excitement in decades."
A sat down and replied, "Well, you'll have stories to tell your great-grandchildren one day."
"If I live that long." Oonoki chuckled.
Meanwhile in Suna, Saiken and Isobu were taking down the giant snakes, but there were still more to fight, "At this rate we'll be too tired to do anything." Isobu said.
"We could really use some help right now!" Saiken panicked.
Shukaku sensing this spoke to Gaara, "Gaara, my brothers need our help!"
Gaara understand the situation answered, "Then let's help our comrades."
With that, Gaara closed his eyes and starting growing until he had taken on the form of Shukaku, who spoke, "Finally! Now the fun can really begin!" he went into battle.
"Shukaku!" the other two tailed beasts gasped in relief.
"Couldn't let you guys have all the fun now could I?" Shukaku asked, before turning towards the snakes, "All right, boys. Let's get busy!" he unleashed a blast of air onto the snakes sending them back. Shukaku followed up by releasing giant sand shuriken in their direction, cutting them to pieces.
When it looked clear, Mei spoke to Choujuro, "Is that it?"
"Yes, ma'am. There are no more snakes." he confirmed.
Mei sighed in relief, "Good. I just hope everyone else is doing ok."
Back in the Land of Fire, Naruto struggled against White Zetsu, "First I'm going to take your chakra, and bring you back to my other half."
"Not if I can help it!" Fu flew in using Choumei's wings, and exhaled a large quantity of fine powder from her mouth which ended up shining so bright it blinded White Zetsu.
Naruto taking advantage of his opponents distortion, broke free and gained distance from him and spoke to his savior, "Thanks for the aid, Fu."
"No problem." she grinned.
White Zetsu spoke, "I'll take both of you prisoner!" he was about to attack again only for chakra arms to extend from Naruto's body and grab him. Naruto used the chakra arms to break White Zetsu in half.
Zetsu watched with Orochimaru and Kabuto, before speaking, "My white half is destroyed. No matter, Ozai will see to them."
Ozai after regenerating went to where Naruto and Fu was, "Haven't forgotten about me, have you?"
"Oh, boy." Fu said nervously, as Naruto got ready to fight back.
Ozai was about to attack only for a shot of Amaterasu flames to light up on his right arm. He screamed, as he saw his arm started burning. Sasuke landed by Naruto and Fu, while speaking to the zombie, "You may call yourself The Phoenix King, but not even you can handle the flames of Amaterasu."
Ozai frowned, before smirking and severed his own right arm, much to their surprise. As the burning arm turned to ash, a new arm was reforming on Ozai, "The Amaterasu flames are incapable of being doused, but I can always lose an arm and gain a new one." he held up his newly regenerated right arm.
Naruto frowned knowing what he had to do, "All right, Ozai. You wanted a rematch with the Avatar? Well, you're gonna get it." he concentrated and went into the Avatar State.
"Yes. Now things are looking up." Ozai said, as he himself channeled his new chakra.
The two fighters went at it, as their very essence shook their surroundings. The Konoha shinobi watched as their Avatar comrade fought the undead Fire Lord, "Look at them go." Hinata gasped.
"I've always wondered what the battle between Ozai and Aang was like up close." Ming noted.
"Watching this we've got some idea now." Lee said.
"Maybe, but Avatar Aang didn't have the power of a tailed beast, and Ozai wasn't a zombie." Neji noted.
"Naruto better be careful." Tenten said.
"She's right. If Naruto dies in the Avatar State that'll be the end of the Avatar for good." Jinora explained.
"Naruto will be fine. I know it." Sakura voiced her belief.
"So do I." Ino agreed.
"Me too." Mitsuki added.
Naruto and Ozai continued fighting with Naruto throwing all he had from bending to jutsu. Ozai dodged the jutsu and bending shots as best he could, and any attack he took was shaken off or he regenerated from, "How can you keep fighting me for this long? Especially as a zombie?" Naruto asked in disbelief.
"Another little modification Orochimaru and Kabuto gave me. They embedded some of the cells from the first Hokage inside me to give me a little extra stamina boost." Ozai answered before using the Dragon Flame Jutsu.
Sasuke activating his Susanoo and used his skeletal arm to swat away the incoming flaming dragon heads. He made his Susanoo arm punch Ozai back, giving Naruto a chance to attack, "Multi-Shadow clone jutsu!" he summoned dozens upon dozens of clones.
The clones engaged Ozai as he fought them with no problems. Naruto as using this chance to create three Rasenshurikens using multiple chakra arms. As Ozai destroyed the last few clones, Naruto called out, "Here's another one from me. Triple Rasenshuriken!" he threw the three jutsu at Ozai resulting in his body get torn to shreds.
Naruto approached Ozai whose body was trying to regenerate, but due to so much damage wasn't healing fast enough. Ozai groaned, as he looked up at Naruto and spoke, "Why? How? I was guaranteed I could defeat you this time!"
Naruto shook his head at the deluded man, "You just don't learn, Ozai. Avatar Aang defeated you because he knew what you were doing was wrong which was all the reason he needed to stop you. And just like him, I also had reason to stop you. You don't belong here among the living anymore, and I will send you back to the afterlife." he started bending water from the atmosphere and began Energybending Ozai.
Ozai saw himself glowing and pleaded, "No, please! I don't wanna go back!" his voice faded, as his soul left his corpse and returned to the afterlife.
"Go at peace, Ozai." Naruto said softly.
Sasuke and Fu looked relieved, while the Konoha shinobi saw Ozai's spirit ascend. Orochimaru and Kabuto were not pleased, but saw Zetsu growling, "Zetsu?" Orochimaru asked.
Zetsu spoke angrily, "They've once again ruined a perfectly executed plan! I have had enough of them keeping me from releasing my mother!" Zetsu's body started bulging and increasing in size.
Luckily for Orochimaru and Kabuto, Zetsu started moving closer towards Naruto, Sasuke, and Fu, as he started getting bigger and bigger. Everyone present could see the black creature grow before taking on the form of a giant back bulky beast with large yellow eyes and razor sharp teeth. He let out a roar which released a strong force to push the Konoha shinobi off their feet.
Naruto, Sasuke, and Fu looked up at the monster in shock, "Well, this just complicates things." Naruto stated.
(And there you go. Orochimaru and Zetsu's army has been defeated, and Ozai has been sent back to the afterlife. But now Zetsu has taken on a beastly form with the intent to make Naruto and his comrades pay for standing in his way.
