Hi, hi, hi! I am very sorry for the long 'absence'. I just finished my diploma and I have a lot of time to focus on the fanfics that I made. Now, it's already chapter 42. Maybe a few chapters, like three or so chapters, I'll end this fanfic. Honestly I am sucked at making endings. If you have any good ending to share, kindly put it the comment section. Thank you.
Disclaimer: I didn't own Fairy Tail and it's characters. Never be mine.
CHAPTER 42
Lisanna's POV
It's really good to see that now Natsu and Lucy finally together. Well, not that they showed the world the lovey-dovey and romantic acts, but I could see the love between them. Natsu isn't the person that into romantic acts, but I believe he must have his moment. And I believe Lucy understood that as well.
I went out with Sting again, well, after receiving a series of questions, warnings, and death glares (Sting got most of them). As for Mira-nee, I had to use Laxus to convince her that Sting will take a good care of me. Well, asking Laxus' help isn't free. But this time, he let it slide. I wonder why.
Sting's POV
Hearing that Natsu and that blonde girl got together eased my mind. I knew Lisanna had a huge crush on Salamander but that was in the past. Still, I felt insecure. Hahaha, fuck that. Lisanna's mine. I don't need to worry.
Normal POV
"How about this?" The white-haired girl's voice pulled him from his thought. "An ice-cream?" She looked excited.
Sting just nodded and let her chose the flavours. While waited for her, he looked at the surrounding. Something bothered him. As if they had been watched. Then, he reminded of those warnings and threats from Fairy Tail. Hopefully, they didn't plan on stalking them on their date. Those fairies sometimes were fucking scary.
"Just one?" he asked, when she came with only one cone of ice-cream.
"I just want a little. You'll have the rest," she replied, and grinned widely. Sting rolled his eyes.
"You ate so little lately. Are you watching on your weight?" he asked again, took the cone from her.
She just pouted and then grinned.
They walked around the town. Not sure where to go.
"You should be the one showing me where the best place to go," he said when she asked where should they go.
She giggled and scratched her head.
"There's a river not far from here. I used to go fishing with Natsu and Happy," she said.
"We went fishing before. You fell into the river," Sting said.
Her eyes widened. "Really? Why I didn't remember any of it?" Then she frowned.
He wrapped his arm around her neck.
"You don't have to feel bad about it," he tried to console her.
"It's just that…We've done a lot of things, too bad I didn't remember any of it." She leaned on his chin. He chuckled.
"So, what? I can tell you about all those things we had done all over again. But, the past is the past. There's nothing we can do about that. Now that we are together. We can create new memories as we go on."
Lisanna looked up to him. She saw him smiling, made her smile too.
"Thank you," she said.
He kissed the tip of her nose.
"Anything for you," he whispered.
Then he kissed her on her lips. Softly.
"Oh, boy. Do you really need to do such thing in public?" A voice interrupted them. "You really need to get a room." Minerva appeared, walking gracefully toward them. "Oh, you don't have any more time for that." She chuckled.
Sting quickly pulled Lisanna behind him.
"What do you want?" he asked.
"You shouldn't bother with questions. You need to act fast, but I don't think you have much time," Minerva answered, laughed more.
"What do you mean?" Lisanna interrupted.
"We are coming for you, both Fairy Tail and Sabertooth." Her smile grew wider. "Do you really think you can take us here?"
"No, do YOU really think you can take us here?" he returned her question. "We're not some tiny mages that you can simply take on."
Minerva stopped, stood about two metres from them. She lifted her hand, and it glowed with dark light.
"Go and warn them," he whispered to Lisanna, with his eyes on the other woman.
"But…"
"I'll be fine. We need to tell them. Go now." Lisanna hesitated.
"I'll be back," she said, and then took flight with her transformation power.
"You are so protective over her," Minerva said. "If you choose someone stronger, you don't have to be so worry," she added.
"I'll do anything for her," he said, ready to receive any of her attack.
"So, you would die for her?" She giggled. "As you pleased."
She threw the fireball that she'd been nurture with her hand. Sting managed to duck the attack. However, a series of fireballs left him breathless. He stared at the woman who had been smirking over him. Not enough of those attacks, she ran right into him and attacked him with her punches and kicks. Being an expert in close combat, she easily overthrown the young dragon slayer. Apart from that, her power were increasing in every attack and pushing him over his limit. Left him lied on his back on the ground with bruises all over his body.
The woman smirked. She walked toward the white dragon slayer, swayed her hip gracefully. Slowly, her clothes, her appearance changed. Her blue dress turned into black clothes that covered her body with some cleavages revealed.
"I looked highly on you when you defeated my father. You had so much potential to grow even stronger. But, my bad. Who am I to judge? The worst is I was blind to see you were such a weakling." Sharp claws grew from her fingers. "Too bad that you're a dragon slayer. A useless dragon slayer."
She stood right next to him, raised her claws high. She smirked wider, and stabbed him on his chest. His scream broke the sky's silence.
"I haven't use all of my strength and you're already in this state," she said, squatted next to him, not removing her claws from his chest but moving them around and deeper.
Sting screamed even louder. Blood drained from his body, from his deepening wound. He caught her hand, but unable to stop her. He tried to mark her, but his stigma was too weak to even touch her body.
"Well, I don't want to stay here longer," she chuckled. "Couldn't wait to end Titania."
She moved her hand from the bleeding wound she dug. She licked the blood stains on her claws. Before she could end the dragon slayer, the voice from the white-haired girlfriend paused her with an annoying look that couldn't be unseen.
Lisanna ran into the mage, pulled them together rolling on the ground. She transformed into a tigress and ready to attack the mage. But Minerva acted much faster that she sent her flying away. She didn't give the fairy time to counter attack her. Lisanna had to hold the unbearable attacks as long as she could. The Fairy Tail members would be there soon.
Sting tried to climb back on his feet with his remaining strength. He couldn't let Lisanna hurt more. He knew she couldn't hold Minerva much longer. Minerva had changed so much since their last meeting. He summoned his stigma on Minerva once more. It wasn't really strong but enough to switch her attention to him.
"Holy…nova…" he whispered. He rushed at fast as he could to the enemy and hit her with his glowing-with-light hand.
An explosion created upon the contact threw him into the air. Lisanna was thrown quite far from them. Minerva was seen to be affected from the attack, lying helplessly on the ground. Not far from her, the white dragon slayer lying unmoving. The attack was supposed to have had no effect on him, but he had no strength and unable to defend himself.
"Sting!" Lisanna shouted.
She tried to climb back on her feet, but she ended up crawling toward him.
"Sting…" She couldn't stop calling his name, hoped that he would answer.
That would be Chapter 42. What a long story.
I'm sorry for bad storytelling during the battle. I know I suck at it.
Hopefully you enjoy this chapter.
Would update new chapters soon.
Bye, love u.
