JASPER POV

From the corner of my eye I see Rose give Tanya the signal and right on cue Tanya 'loses it', she breaks into hysterics.

"Someone shut that girl up!" say Caius

Rose and I go to her and take her a bit of ways away telling the guards that she'll calm down faster if she doesn't have to see Edward being slaughtered.

"We have to do something" Rose whispers once we're a good distance away from everyone. "I can't watch this anymore! Edward's completely given up and its all because of her! Why the FUCK did she have to wear that damn ring today of all days?!"

"I thought you said you talk to her?" Tanya asks irritated.

"I DID!" Rose replies "but obviously she's having a stupid moment or something because she clearly didn't get when I told her that Edward loved her!"

Tanya opens her mouth to respond but I interrupt before they can get into it.

"That's enough both of you!" I whispered. "Now we all agree that we have to do something we can't let them just kill him, you and I both promised Alice Rose, now the question is what?"

"Great now you're the one a stupid moment" Rose says sighing exasperatedly "was I the only one paying attention? Did you not hear what Aro said? What he implied?" she looked at both of us expectantly.

Tanya and I both looked at each other looking a bit lost.

"You mean when he said 'if only' or something like that?" Tanya asks quietly

"Yes!" Rose nearly shouts "sorry" she whispers quietly. "If Bella were to show up and proclaim that she'll marry Edward or something then I'm almost positive Aro will forgive Edward."

"That's a lot to ask of her Rose" I say "and besides how do you know he'll forgive them?"

"THINK JASPER!" she nearly shout again "why do you think Aro chose our school, where there are a lot of witnesses, as the execution site? He clearly wanted Edward or US to have a chance to save him!"

"It's possible but I don't know I don't think we should be risking her life on possibilities and when Edward finds out he'll be pissed" I say since apparently I'm the voice of reason.

"Well if Edward does get the chance to live far enough to be pissed then I'll take the blame ok" she says "now who do we send?"

"Riley" I answer right away "he's the one they'll least suspect but they will notice his absence so…." I look at Tanya "are you ready for another show?"

She nods.

"ok this is what we'll do" I say dropping my voice even lower "Rose you go over there and get Riley over here if they ask which I'm sure they will say Tanya needs some meds and that he needs to go on an errand after he leaves we'll go back to where they can see us and Tanya you need to give the act of your life and I mean Oscar worthy asking ok?"

They both look at me with weird expressions

"What?"

"I'm just impressed how you just suddenly took charge and all" Tanya says "I've never seen that side of you"

I shrug feel slightly embarrassed.

"And I'm just surprised you actually grew a pair…about time too because I was starting to think"

"Alright I get it" I say interrupting Rose "just go get Riley will you?"

"Do you really think this will work?" Tanya asks when we're alone.

"I'm really hoping so because if not then all 6 of us will be dead."

BPOV

School was finally over and I was putting my things together so I could just go home and end this horrible day. It had been a mistake wearing the ring I could see it hurt Edward when he saw me wearing it and I in turn felt horrible and like I was some sort of traitor or something which is ridiculous.

To top it all off I couldn't shake this bad feeling I had in the pit of my stomach.

I stopped what I was doing and just sat down on the floor with the heels of both my hands on my forehead.

What is this? What's wrong? I need to get a hold of myself before Jake got here.

I focused on taking deep breathes.

"Bella! Oh thank god I found you!"

I looked up and saw Riley sweating and out of breath like he'd been running.

"Riley? What's wrong? Why….OH MY GOD IS EDWARD OK?" I said getting hysterical and suddenly seeing the look of sadness on his face I knew. I knew that Edward was in trouble and that's why I was having the bad feeling.

"HE'S OK RIGHT? RILEY TELL ME HE'S OK!" I demanded grabbing a hold of his shirt collar. "Please just tell me" I sobbed.

"Bella you need to calm down ok" Riley said. "Edward needs you"

"Wh-what do I have to do?" I asked calming down.

"I have to be quick and we have to run so pay attention and keep up." He said grabbing my hand.

As we run he tells me something that I already suspected since that whole episode with James. The Cullens are part of the mafia and Edward has been sentenced to death for bringing an outsider into the business. If I promise to marry him then maybe they'll let him live.

Its takes forever to get there I wish we could run faster but at the same time I know we're both running as fast as we can. I'm afraid we'll get there too late. I'm worrying all the way there. When we finally get there Riley lets go of my hand and I push my way forward.

"Who are you?" asks a tall man with dark hair.

I yelp in surprise but I don't try to get out of his grasp because Edward my poor Edward is lying on the ground his face is bloody almost beyond recognition and his punisher a man with blonde almost white hair is preparing to deliver the final blow.

"NO!" I yell freeing myself from the man holding me and covering Edward with my body.

"Please" I sob "don't hurt him. I-I promise to marry him or whatever you want but please don't hurt him anymore."

I'm so sorry once again for not updating sooner I just couldn't find the inspiration but anyway I'm not sure how good this is I'm might upload a beta'd version of this later so be on the lookout for that one but so far this is what I got.
