So I got part of this idea after watching Wreck it Ralph (I LOVE Ralph's and Vanellope's friendship so much!) and I thought a scene of it would be an awesome BH6 idea! I hope you like it as much I did!
Also, this is a two-shot! So yeah…
Hiro's POV
I rushed into mine and Tadashi's room, eager to show my brother what I'd made. When I burst in, he was working on some homework. Normally, I'd wait until he was done because then he'd pay me more attention, but I was just too excited. For months now Tadashi has been trying to get to do 'something with that big brain of mine' or whatever, and I finally did. I really hope he'd like it.
"Hey Tadashi! Look what I made!" I cried, shoving it in front of his face. He smiled while closing is eyes.
"Hiro, I'd love to see what you made, but I'm a little busy. Can it wait?" He asks patiently. I really didn't want to wait, but I liked to listen to Tadashi.
"How long will it take?" I ask, hiding what I made behind my back as Tadashi opened his eyes.
"Maybe an hour. Not more than two." He promises. I sigh. I really wanted to show him now. I worked so hard on it and was really hoping he'd want to see it as much as I'd wanted to show it.
"You okay bud?" he asks in a concerned tone. That's the thing with Tadashi. If something was off with me, he'd divert all attention away from anything else. I wanted to show him, but I didn't want to be a brat about it so I gave him a big smile and thumbs up.
"Everything's fine. Call me here the SECOND you're done with your homework." I demand, pointing at him sternly.
"Yes sir." He mock salutes, getting back to his reading.
About half an hour later, I can't take it anymore. I barge into our room again to see that Tadashi took a nap at his desk. I roll my eyes. 'What a dork.' I think to myself as I lightly nudge him awake.
"Hey nerd get up." I whisper. Tadashi opens up his eyes and groans in discomfort.
"Whatyearisit?" he asks in drunk-like manner.
"You dork. How sleepy are you?" I ask with a chuckle.
"Very. Ugh. Oh! Hiro. My homework. Something he wanted to show me! But…organic chemistry and ohmygosh." He says incoherently.
"Wow big bro. deep breath. Go wash your face so you can wake up." I command. He complies as he slowly gets out of his rolling chair and heads into the bathroom.
It feels like hours until he finally come out looking a bit fresher than before.
"It's about time! Now can you see what I made?" I ask anxiously.
"You know what? Orgo can wait. Sure." He says, closing his book.
"Orgo?" I question.
"Organic chemistry." He explains with a wave of his hand.
"Right. Well feast your eyes on this!" I say excitedly, shoving it in his face again, unable to contain my excitement.
"Easy there. Let me actually SEE it." Tadashi says with a laugh, pushing my hands back a bit. I get a bit embarrassed, but wait eagerly for feedback on how awesome it is.
"A mini robot." He muses.
"Yeah. It's a fighting robot. I saw these things in an alleyway called a bot fight and oh my gosh Tadashi! You should've-
"Wait. Did you just say bot fight?" he asks through clenched teeth and curled fists. This was weird. I'd never seen Tadashi interrupt me and get so serious, or stern about something.
"Uh, yeah. You've heard of them I take it." I say weakly.
"You listen to me Hiro. Those things aren't safe. Nothing good ever comes from bot fighting, trust me." He says in irritation. His tone kind of scares me. It's like if I don't do as he says, he'll chain me up or something.
"Well you seem to know so much about this." I say, getting upset that he didn't even really seem to care about my megabot. He totally ignored my statement, making me a bit angry.
"Well?" I ask expectantly.
"Well what?" He asks.
"How do you know so much about bot fights if you make them seem so terrible?" I ask.
"That's none of your business. Now I have to get back to my homework." He says dismissively.
"Um, no. first off, it is SO my business. I'm your brother. We tell each other everything. No secrets. Remember? Or no, did Orgo distract you so much that you forgot?" I ask snarkily.
"Are you showing me attitude?" he asks in his warning tone. That tone always makes me shut up because it means he's close to yelling and that's NEVER good.
"No." I mumble, trudging to my bed and diving into the covers, blocking out the rest of the world. I bore my gaze into my megabot and admire how perfect looking I got it. I worked forever on it and only because Tadashi motivated me to, but now it seems like a lost cause. I'm about to completely give up on it when Tadashi's words echo around in my head.
'Shake things up. Look for a new angle. Never give up on what you want. And most importantly little bro, never let anyone tell you that you can't do something you don't wanna do.'
He's right. I should do what I want. Maybe all Tadashi needs is to see how great bot fighting is to fully appreciate. Maybe if he saw how much money I could possibly make from it, he'd see that it's really not bad. It's settled. Tomorrow, while Tadashi nerded it up at SFIT, I'd go bot fighting and then show him how great it is.
"Hey Hiro?" Tadashi says, tugging at my covers, but I have a vice grip on them so they don't budge.
"Hiro please let go." He asks softly. I still don't listen to him, angry at how he treated me earlier.
Finally, I feel him let go of the sheets, but too late because my head hits the headboard of my bed, hard.
"OW!" I cry out, rubbing my now sore forehead.
"Hiro! You okay?" He asks, observing my head.
"Is it swelling?" I ask irritably.
"No, you're going to be fine. I'll get you an ice pack." He says, rushing to the bathroom. He comes back with the cold bag and presses it lightly to my bruise.
"Sorry." He says weakly.
"It's fine. What did you want?" I ask indifferently.
"I'm sorry for not really caring about what you made. Bot fighting just isn't good, and you're going to have to believe me on that. But your robot is really awesome." He says sincerely.
"It's okay. You're just looking out for what's best for me." I say.
This is exactly why I need to go bot fighting. If he thinks my bot is cool, then what's the point of not letting it reach its full potential? Nothing. I need to show him what it can really do.
"Good. Then good night." He says, ruffling my hair. I grimace at him before murmuring a good night back and getting into bed, watching my head as I do.

Tadashi's POV
"Hey Tadashi! Guess what.' Hiro says, barreling into the room and tripping up over his own feet in the process. I stifle a laugh and help him up.
"What's going on?" I ask, amused.
"Look at this." He says, waving around a really large wad of money.
"Where did you get this?" I ask, confused. He better not have stolen it. Wait, this is my baby brother; he wouldn't steal.
"I earned it big bro." he says with a smirk.
"How exactly did you 'earn' it?" I ask, dreading the answer.
"Brace yourself for this Dashi. Why don't you sit down?" he suggests, pulling to my bed and plopping me down. Now I'm a bit nervous. He usually only calls me Dashi when he's about to tell me something that I really don't want to hear.
"Remember when I showed you my megabot?" He asks anxiously.
"Your what?" I ask, eyebrow raised.
"The 'mini robot'?" he asks quickly.
"Oh yeah." I said remembering.
"Well you know how I told you I saw those bot fights?" he asks nervously.
Oh god. He better NOT have gone bot fighting or it will be the end of him ever leaving this house.
"Well…Isortofwenttooneandgotlostinamajorwinningstreakandmademajorcashanddidn'tthinktwiceabouthowmadyou'dbebecauseholymolylookatallthismoney!" he drawls, waving the money around once more.
I feel anger bubble inside, but try my best not to completely murder Hiro.
"Hiro! I specifically told you NOT to go bot fighting and you deliberately disobeyed me! What do you have to say for yourself?" I ask, tapping my foot on the hardwood floor. He looks down in shame and mumbles something.
"What?" I ask.
"Why's it matter? Look at all the money I made. I thought you'd be happy." He says with a hesitant shrug.
I don't like this. He's already starting to talk back to me a lot more.
"Hiro bot fights are no good. I don't know what language to tell you that in. would you prefer Japanese because I can do that." I say, losing my patience.
"Yeah because I totally understand Japanese. I don't get you Tadashi. You tell me to 'apply myself' and 'use my big brain for something important' and this is important to me, but now you don't want me to do this." He says, crossing his arms.
"Are you getting smart with me?" I ask in a warning tone. I won't tolerate this disrespect.
"Dashi I'm not trying to be disrespectful. I'm only trying to obey you, but it's kind of hard when I'm getting mixed signals." He says in a tone that sounds sad and lost. I begin to feel guilty and pull him in for a hug.
"I'm sorry I'm not being clear. I do want you to do great things, but bot fighting isn't it. Trust me Hiro. There's so many other things you can keep yourself busy with." I say with a smile.
I can feel him slump his shoulders in the hug, but he doesn't say anything.
"You good?" I ask softly. He wordlessly crawls into his bed, money sprawled all over the floor. I do a quick count of it and see that it must've taken him quite a few fights to get this much. He's pretty good at this, but I can't encourage this behavior. I finish up my homework and get to bed as well.
"Good night." I say, but receive no response.
"Hiro?" I call. I know he isn't sleeping because I don't hear is heavy breathing.
Silence.
I sigh and try to sleep away the hurt, but it stays.

Normal POV
The next day, Hiro walked into his and Tadashi's shared room with a bit of a glow on his face which didn't go unnoticed by Tadashi. The older brother smiled warmly at Hiro, trying to forget about last night and waved.
"What's got you in such a good mood?" Tadashi asked curiously, leaving his homework be.
"Huh? Uh, nothing." Hiro says, rushing to his bed quite too eagerly.
"Actually, you're home pretty late too. Where exactly were you?" Tadashi asked.
"Out with some friends." Hiro says swiftly, shrugging and smiling brightly.
Friends? Call him a jerk, but Tadashi never remembered Hiro mentioning any friends. This certainly was news.
"Really? Who?" Tadashi asked, wanting to meet them.
"Uhh…um, R-roy. And S-s-sam." He said through stutters, face palming himself.
"I don't get it, why'd you lie about that?" Tadashi asked with a laugh, causing Hiro to shoot him a glare.
"I have friends you know!" Hiro defends, blushing deeply in embarrassment.
"Like?" Tadashi asked.
"Oh shut up Tadashi." Hiro says, hiding under his covers. There was a bit of rustling but eventually the younger boy popped back out with a small smile settled onto his face.
"So you never said why you were so happy." Tadashi pointed out.
"Right. Well, that's none of your business." Hiro says mockingly, sticking his tongue out.
Tadashi just shook his head and smiled at Hiro's childish antics.
"Wow, that's a nice watch. Where'd you get it from?" Tadashi asks attempting to make conversation.
"Uh, Aunt Cass gave it to me a while ago." Hiro replies.
Tadashi just nodded before turning around and eyeing Hiro with a suspicious look.
"Wait a minute. No she didn't. Why are you lying to me?" Tadashi demands. Hiro gulps and avoids eye contact with Tadashi.
"You went bot fighting didn't you?!" Tadashi accused, raising his voice.
"N-no! You don't have proof of that!" Hiro fired back, equal volume increasing.
"I think the receipt of that watch that 'Aunt Cass gave you' is proof enough. You're in deep trouble." Tadashi says sternly.
"No way! Just because you're too damn afraid to have fun in life doesn't mean you can punish me for it!" Hiro cried out, surprised at his own outburst.
"Did you just curse at me?" Tadashi asked in disbelief.
"Well not at you per say. More like just in the sentence that you were mentioned in. and so what if I did?" Hiro said, shrugging his shoulders.
"I didn't raise you to be this snarky or misbehaved." Tadashi says, not understanding what happened.
"Maybe because you didn't raise me! Aunt Cass did." Hiro spits out.
"Hiro! I think you owe me an apology and you're grounded for a month." Tadashi says in his warning voice.
"No way! That's bull shit. I'm not apologizing for doing something that I love. And I'd do it again. And I WILL do it again. You can't keep in here forever. You can't always watch me. I'll find a way, and I won't ever let you stop me from doing what I want again!" Hiro claims, walking past Tadashi who is too stunned to even speak to stop him.
"That is IT." Tadashi says without a trace of mercy.
"What are you gonna do? Tell Aunt Cass?" Hiro asks tauntingly.
"Don't be ridiculous. You need to be taught a lesson." Tadashi said coldly.
Hiro looked slightly (and ONLY slightly) worried.
"You're not going to hit me are you?" Hiro asks with a trace of fear.
"Don't be ludicrous. You know I would never hit you. And even if I did, what would that solve? That would only make you want to leave more." The older one said, walking over to Hiro's bed.
"Then what are you doing?" Hiro asked, following behind.
"Oh don't worry. You're getting a front row seat." Tadashi said with a heartless laugh that made Hiro shiver.
He reached under the covers and found exactly what he was looking for.
"Tadashi? Wh-what are you doing with my megabot?" He asks worriedly.
"If I can't stop you from going to those bot fights, I'll have to get rid of the one thing that keeps you going there." Tadashi explains.
Hiro's eyes bug out before his smirk reappears. "Megabot is undefeated. How are you going to possibly get rid of it? You can hide it all you want. I'll still find it.
"That's funny. You think I'm showing mercy and am going to let it stay intact." Tadashi says, leaving the room with Hiro in tow.
"What are you doing? Where are you going?" Hiro asked, getting a bit worried.
They were all the way at SFIT when Hiro began pleading with Tadashi.
"W-wait! I'm sorry. I'll never talk to you like that again! I promise!" He wailed.
"I wish I could believe you." Tadashi said sadly.
The elder of the two walked to a laser looking thing in the lab and fired it up.
Hiro's eyes were bulging out now.
"Dashi wait! No please! I'll do anything. I'll never curse again. I won't go bot fighting. Just please don't! That's all I have!" Hiro pleaded, on his knees, begging and hoping.
"I'm sorry Hiro, but I'm doing this for you.
"Please NO! I worked on that for WEEKS. It took me too long to get that tech to work like that. You CAN'T! Hiro cried, trying to yank Tadashi back. The older brother simply kicked Hiro off and threw his megabot across the laser field.
"Watch me." he said coldly.
As if in slow motion, the bot went whirring through it and was being sliced away. Hiro stared, horrified. Tears were streaming down his face and he didn't know what to do, but one thing was certain. He was NEVER going to apply to college, SFIT no less. No matter what, he was never going to go to school and it was all thanks to Tadashi.
"This had to be done Hiro. I can't lose you and you're not understanding why bot fighting is dangerous. You may not understand, but I'm doing this because I love you." Tadashi says strictly.
"NO NO NO! Shut up! You're a liar and a bully. I can't believe you did that. Bot fighting isn't dangerous. YOU ARE!" Hiro cried, leaving a trail of tears as he ran back to the café, leaving Tadashi to collect his thoughts. He sucked in the part of him that wanted to cry and walked home as well.
The megabot lay on the cold floor of SFIT, burst into millions of little perfectly sliced debris. All of Hiro's hard work was gone by the power of one laser induced plasma ray.
*Page Break*
Well that's that.
Poor Hiro.
Mean Tadashi! (Well not really. He's only looking out for Hiro after all).
I wonder what's going to happen next? XD JK, I already know, but I wanna know what you think so let's hear it!
Hope you liked it!
Ps. That Wreck it Ralph part was when Tadashi destroyed megabot. It was similar to when Ralph destroyed Vanellope's car in case anyone was wondering where that idea came from.
