Antoinette smiled as she saw all the music scores scattered all over and the music books lined on a shelf in the back corner. The trio entered the room and Gustave looked around in awe at all the music related objects and then his eyes landed on the piano. Erik had to hold back a chuckle as Gustave practically bounced his way over to the piano with excitement. It wasn't as big as the Grand Piano in his room at his house, but it was still a good piano.

Gustave looked at the musical core currently sitting in the tray and asked "Is this your piece father?"

Erik smiled and answered "Oui, I was working on it the other day before your mother sang."

Gustave said "I cannot wait to write music like you do."

Erik smiled at that and noticed the small smile on Antoinette's face as well. Gustave looked around the room and asked "Is there any Mozart in here? I like to play him a lot."

Erik smiled and went over to hand made book shelf in the front right corner of the room where he put all the published composers. He looked through the Mozart shelf before pulling down a simple score that Gustave could play. He pulled it down from the shelf and brought it over to the piano putting it in the tray while putting his unfinished piece on top of the piano. Gustave climbed up onto piano bench and started running through warm up exercises. Erik sat on an extra piano bench that he had in there and it wasn't long before Antoinette joined him.

She said "He is just like you when you were his age."

He looked at her and she smiled "You were just as talented if not more when you were his age. The only difference is, you were already hearing and composing music in your head by then."

Erik smiled and answered "I think he will get there. He is already learning fast, I might dare to say that my son is a piano prodigy."

Antoinette smiled at that and answered "I wouldn't doubt that any. Maybe once he has the piano mastered, you can teach him other musical instruments."

Erik answered "I think I would like that. I noticed that teaching him is much different than teaching Christine."

Antoinette looked at him wisely and smiled "That is because you are his parent, whereas Christine was a student, then a friend in a way, and then finally your love."

Erik nodded, that made sense. He smiled as Gustave started playing the score and Antoinette smiled herself as the peaceful classical music drifted through the room.

Antoinette looked at Erik and said, "I have to confess something to you Erik."

Erik looked at Antoinette and answered "You can always tell me anything Antoinette. We've known each other very long, I think that we are beyond the point of saying anything that could offend the other."
