This story starts at the end of season 10, and of course as the title suggests it begins 5 years after season 10.
Chapter 3 - Telling the Gang.
All of the gang are at Central Perk apart from Monica, Chandler and the twins who are on their way to the very popular Coffee place that they spent most of their twenties and early thirtys in. The gang are talking and all drinking Coffee.
"Does anyone know why Monica and Chandler called us and asked to meet us here?" Phoebe questions the others "Apparently they have some news that they need to tell us. Does anybody know what it is or could be?" Ross replies to Phoebe and as usual answering with a question of his own."Perhaps they are moving back to the city, that would be amazing" Rachel said commenting on what their news might be, "I bet that Monica is pregnant or something like that" Phoebe says whilst pointing her hand towards Rachel. "Well what are you betting?" "I shall give you 20 bucks if she isn't pregnant." Phoebe tells Rachel. "Well that is $20 I have won then because you heard what they told us after they had their fertility tests done." Rachel said confidently "The doctor said there was a small chance not that it wasn't impossible." Phoebe tells Rachel whilst making the bet official and shaking her hand. In usual Joey land he isn't listening to the others conversation and just randomly nods his head as he doesn't know whats going on. "This cake is really good." Joey points out trying to start a conversation that he will be involved in "Ohhh Uncle Joey can I try some please?" Emma asks her loving Uncle "JOEY DOESN'T SHARE FOOD" joey not realizing that he has just yelled at Emma states and she looks sad almost like she is going to cry. "Emma you know how he is with his food baby! I am going to get a refill so I shall get you some cake whilst I am up there all to yourself." Ross tells his 7 year old Daughter. "Yay, thank you daddy." Emma says very cheerfully and then sticks out her tounge at Joey.
"Wow its strange." Phoebe states "Whats wrong pheebs?" Joey asks "Monica and Chandler are 2 minutes late that almost never happens." Phoebe said "Hmm, I am sure that they are just having trouble finding somewhere to park it is quite busy today." Rachel tells them. Just then Rachel looks out of the window and sees the Bings walking past the window and the children wave at her so she smiles and waves back at them. "Here they come look" Rachel said and pointed to the window where they are walking by and now entering the Coffee place. "Hello all." Chandler and Monica greet their friends as they go over to the counter to buy some drinks for themselves and the kids. "Kids go and sit on the couch with Emma." Monica tells the twins "Yayyy!" They say as they run over to see their cousin. "Emma we haven't seen you in ages!" Erica tells her best friend "You saw each other 2 days ago at school" Ross says "Dad be quiet, 2 days for us is ages as we are so little." Emma tells her dad off for correcting her best friend and couisn. Monica and Chandler come over to the tatty orange couch that is still in the old Coffee House with 2 cups in each hand only Jack and Ericas have jucie in not tea or coffee. "We thought that maybe you wasn't going to come.! Phoebe states "Sorry we got caught up in a bit if traffic and the couldn't find anywhere to park it is absolutly packed out today." Monica explains why they were late to their friends. "So going back on subject of why we are here?" Joey asks them. "Kids why dont you show Emma the game that you can;t stop playing over there" Chandler says pointing just to the table near the window. All three children walk over to sit at the table near the window with their drinks and game with them. "Are you going to tell us?" Ross asks "Do you want to say or should I?" Monica asks Chandler. "You can Mon!" Chandler replies kissing his wife's cheek. "Okay well this includes all of you and well basically..." Monica gets interupted by Joey "Just tell us and stop prosponing" "I was about to tell you if you listen, Chandler and I are having a baby." All the gang are overcome with joy and very happy for their friends. "Your pregnant?" Ross asks "Yeah, please don't hurt me." Chandler replies for Monica.
Later on that night at Monica and Chandlers house the twins are in bed and Monica and Chandler take it as the perfect oppertuinity to relax and take a nice quite bath together which they haven't done in a very long time. "Hmmmm, this is nice and relaxing isn't it?" Monica asks "Yeah its great. I am so glad Ross didn't kill me." Chandler states "He wouldn't hurt you, you are his best friend Chandler." "I know, When are we going to tell the kids?" Chandler asks "I don't know, maybe just before I start showing properly." Monica suggests "That sounds like a good idea, Should we go to bed now I am pretty tired it has been a long day." Chandler says whilst getting out the bath and grabbing a towel each off the towel rack for them both to dry on. Monica and Chandler both get dry and put their pajamas on and go to their bedroom to sleep.
