This story starts at the end of season 10, and of course as the title suggests it begins 5 years after season 10, of course is the re-write. Just wondering if anyone likes this better than the original one and why? If not how could I possibly improve it?
Chapter 11: False Alarms!
Monica is now 8 months along in the pregnancy and so far everything is going very well, considering they were told it was going to be a very high risk pregnancy for both her and the baby. They are both in great health and the baby is growing as well as she should be. Everyone is getting excited for the little girl to come and getting ready rather quickly since she is due in one month, and could come early but as it is Monica she is making sure they were prepared a while ago.
Hospital Room, Monica and Chandler are in there.
Monica is sitting on the bed and Chandler is on a chair next to her, they are just waiting for her regular test restults to come back making sure her blood pressure and everything like that is normal. "I'm so excited for her to be here, I just hope she is okay!" Monica said "Hunny, you heard the doctor she is in perfect health and so are you, stop worrying it will make you stressed and we can't have you stressed cause that will then make her stressed out too, remember whatever your going through she is too." Chandler said calmly "I know, Do you think the twins will be okay with Ross and Rachel tonight?" Monica asked "I'm sure they will be fine, they have taken care of then lots of the time." Chandler reassured his wife "Yeah but I mean over night, they haven't ever really stayed away from us only for a few nights before and that was with my parents or your mom!" Monica said now getting worried "They will be fine, I promise. They are having their first sleepover with their older cousin they will love it. Trust me, I just hope Joey isn't around tonight" CHandler said "I know, I feel bad at asking him to leave though so I haven't." Monica said. "I mean its great him staying and him helping with the kids is great but he has been here for over a month and really we do kind of need the space back. It has been over a month." Chandler said "We will talk to him when we get home, I promise." Monica said just as Doctor Long entered the room. "I have your results back and your blodd pressure is a little high so we will keep an eye on it, other than that everything looks excellent." Doctor Long told them. "See I told you everything will be fine, you just need to relax a little more." Chandler said "Exactly, I will need you to make another appointment for in a few days to check your blood pressure again, if it isn't back to normal then we may have to deliever the baby early but don't worry about that for now." Doctor Long said.
Monica and Chandlers house, They get back home and Joey is watching the tv.
Monica and Chanlder sit on the couch near Joey who is in the arm chair "Hey man, can we talk to you for a minute please?" Chandler asked "Sure man, what's up?" Joey said. "Well we were just talking together and were just wondering and thinking about some stuff." Chandler doesn't know how to say it "Joey, when are you moving out?" Monica asked "I can move out whenever you want me to, I only stayed so long because I thought you liked having me around but I see how it is." Joey said "Its not like we don't love having you here because we do, but we kind of need our space and alone time as a family at this time before we have our little girl." Chandler explained to his friend of many years. "When do you want me to go?" Joey asked "Well whenever you want, but Mon and I do want the house to ourselfs tonight. " That is cool, I will go over to Phoebes or something." Joey said and packed some things up to stay at their other friends house for the night.
That night at Monica and Chandlers house.
Monica and Chandler are sitting on the couch after watching a movie and eating some dinner, they realise the time and decide to phone Ross so they can say goodnight to the twins as it is almost their bedtime, Chandler has jsut hung up the phone and asks Monica what she wants to do now. "I think we need to phone Ross!" Monica said Chandler stared at her for a minute then said "I know your pregnant but come on your memory can't be that bad Mon." "I'm serious, we need to phone him and tell them I'm in labour Chandler." Chandler thinks she is kidding until he looks at her and sees she is in the middle of a contraction. "Oh my god, Do you want to go to the hospital right away?" Chandler said "Its not so bad and it would be the false labour, I think that if it keeps happening then definitely go but not until then." Monica said "You go and get into your pjs and I will bring you a nice glass of water and we can stay in bed the rest of the night to relax." Chandler told her as he went into the kitchen and she went upstairs.
