"So I just talked to Hunter." John says. "He wants to know what I wanna do about my schedule for this weekend."
"You can go back to the Raw house shows." Celeste replies. "I know a lot of fans were disappointed they missed you this past weekend. No sense in disappointing more."
He smiles and wraps his arms around her. "You're sweet to always be thinking of me or the fans. I am so glad you're okay. Hope we never have any more scares like that."
She just smiles and stretches up to kiss him.
He holds her tightly, looking into her eyes. "This scare made me realize I want us to be there for one another-no matter what." He takes a deep breath. "So how about August 24th? I know it's just a four months away, but it shouldn't be that hard to plan a wedding."
Celeste begins to pull away. "But John, you know how much I want to get married in my own church. And you won't even consider pre-marital counseling-it's required there." John shakes his head, "I just don't see why we need that. Counseling is if you're having problems-we're fine." Celeste interjects, "It's just to make sure we're on the same page. And apparently we're not...at least about this." She turns away, beginning to tense from frustration. "You don't understand how important this is for me!" John gently places his hands on Celeste's shoulders and turns her around. "Don't worry, Darlin', we'll work this out. You know my father can marry us. Can't you picture it? A romantic wedding in historic Boston. Maybe we can get a horse-drawn carriage. That'd make you look just like the princess that you are." A tiny smile flashes across her face. John lifts her chin up, their eyes meet. "See? Doesn't that sound romantic? Getting married by my dad-I don't think it gets any better than that." Her face is filled with doubt as she lays her head on his shoulder. She closes her eyes as she softly says, "I guess since my parents can't be there we should focus on yours."
Celeste arrives at the arena. She walks toward the locker room, humming to herself." Suddenly an arm grabs her and pulls her close. She gasps and looks up to see Dean. "Geez. You scared the heck outta me!" she scolds.
"Sorry, Star." he replies. "Just wanted to let you know that I'm glad every thing turned out okay."
She smiles. "Thanks."
Roman and Seth approach. Roman hugs her. "Hey Tiny. You didn't think you'd get rid of us that easy did you?" he teases.
Celeste just chuckles. Seth wraps his arms around her. His heart leaps and he's perplexed. "I'm really glad you're okay, Sparky."
She pulls away from the hug and looks at the men curiously. "Hmm. You all have nicknames for me. I'm gonna have to come up with some for y'all."
Seth says, "I'm surprised John went back to the Raw schedule."
"I told him to." Celeste responds. She pauses. "Though I am wondering how we're gonna make wedding plans when we're back to not traveling together."
"Have you set a date?" Seth asks.
"Finally. August 24th. she answers.
"Whoa. This year?." Seth replies.
"Yep." she answers.
"That's less than four months away." he states.
"I know. But John's got a pretty good idea on how it should play out so… I'm sure it'll go off without any problems."
Her hazel eyes seem to reveal to Seth disappointment that her words try to hide.
The group arrive at a motel at nearly 2:00am. Exhausted they go the front desk and ask for two rooms.
"I'm sorry, but we only have one room left." affirms the clerk. "It has two king-sized beds though."
"I'm too tired to get back in that car." Celeste insists. "We'll take it."
Seth sighs. "Give us a cot, and we'll decide which of us will sleep on it." he says, gesturing to himself and the other men.
"Hey. Why can't the littlest person in the group get the cot?" Dean asks.
"Can you pretend to be a gentleman?" Roman asks.
"I'm afraid we're out of cots too. Sorry." the clerk informs.
"Guys…let's just take it.' Celeste persists.
"If you two lovebirds wanna do anything, just ignore Roman and me." Dean jokes.
Celeste steps up to him and stares up into his blue eyes. "If you say one more smart-mouthed thing I will pay Roman to hit you."
"Hey, I'll do it for free." Roman replies.
"Look, I can sleep on the floor." Seth suggests.
"This bed is huge, Seth. We won't hardly be near each other." She picks up her bag and heads to the bathroom to change. When she comes out the men have all stretched out and are watching ESPN.
She smiles at the sight of Seth lying just under the bedspread. "I'm not getting under the sheet." he insists.
"Thank you for being such a gentleman." she says, sliding into bed. "Turn the TV off soon boys, we gotta get some rest."
"Yes, Mother." Dean quips.
"Don't hit him, Roman." Celeste proclaims. "That was kinda cute."
"You're welcome." Dean responds.
With that Roman shoves him to the floor.
Seth awakens when he feels something brush against his lips. He recognizes that the sensation is Celeste's lips and returns the kiss. She pulls away and sits up on the bed. "We can't make a habit of this." she says. "No sense in torturing ourselves." She get up and heads into the bathroom.
Seth sits up and looks over at the other bed for Roman and Dean, but they aren't there. There is no other bed. Seth realizes that he is dreaming. Celeste reappears in front of him. "Get up." she chuckles. "We got wedding plans to work on."
Suddenly is he awaken for real by the feeling of thrashing next to him. He opens his eyes and looks at Celeste. She looks over and whispers, "Sorry. I didn't mean to wake you. I just got tangled in the sheet."
"It's okay." he replies, bewildered by his dream.
Celeste smiles and slips out of bed to go to the bathroom.
Seth rubs his face with his hands and sighs. This can't be happening." he thinks to himself.
At the gym, Seth tries to work off the stress his realization has caused him-to no avail. He hopes confiding in someone can help him feel better. "Roman?"
"Yeah." Roman replies.
"I..uh." Seth chuckles. "I got a problem!"
"What's that?" Roman asks.
Seth looks around, to see that no one else is in earshot. He sees Celeste across the room exercising. His heart races faster and he can't bring himself to stop staring at her.
Roman follows his stare and it hits him. "Your problem's not what I think it is, is it?"
Seth finally tears his eyes away from Celeste and looks at Roman. "What do you think it is?"
"I think you can't do this, is what I think." Roman insists.
Seth runs his hands through his sweaty hair. "I can't help it! I'm falling in love with her!"
