After being transported to a secret world, the 4 heroes were recently in the temple.
Mii: where are we?
Kogoro: i think we're inside of a temple
Sora: whatever it is, we can sense a mist close by

Bobby: is straight ahead, let's go
When they walk a bit further, lights were on, revealing a half-pipe stadium.
Mii: what's going on?
Sora: i don't know, but, we're about to find out
As they saw a creature sliding 4 times on the half-pipe, when it lands on the ledge, it reveals a Sea Lion with wristbands on its wrists, a collar with a Snowmad Snowflake symbol on the center, a Helmet with horns, and a white mustache.
Kogoro: what is that? it looks new
Bobby: let me check
As Bobby pulled out a book revealing the information on each creatures.
Bobby: here it is, Pompy the Presumptous, the Sea Lion of the army known as the Ice Cold Snowmads, its attacks are Sliding Dash, Ice Boomerang, Angry Boost, Sea Lion Fury, Snowmad Freeze Beam, and Pufferfish bombardment, meaning, it'll throw some pufferfish with its nose
Kogoro: fascinating
just then, Pompy clapped its flippers to order the penguins to push the heroes down to the half-pipe.
Mii: is rude to push people down the half-pipe you know!
Bobby: it's too soon to say that Mii
Mii: Why?
As Bobby points at Pompy who mockingly laughs at them while clapping its flippers.
Mii: great, now Pompy is laughing at us!
Kogoro: i agree with you m'lady, Pompy has gone way too far
Sora: well, we're not giving Pompy a fish, but a beating
Bobby: that's right, it's fighting time

The fight against Pompy was intense, but the heroes managed to do some damage on Pompy while dodging its attacks, every time Pompy takes a damage, Pompy uses Angry Boost to boost its attacks while changing color, so, the heroes unleashed the Limit attack known as Project X-Zone Brawl to defeat Pompy.
Mii: The Finale!
Kogoro: Take these Tenzai Techniques!
Sora: Take This!
Bobby: Let's Finish this!

Pompy was defeated thanks to the Heroes as Pompy disappears and turns into a Summoning Stone of Pompy, the Presumptous.
Mii: whew, what a fight
Kogoro: indeed, the fight against Pompy amazes me
Bobby: yep
Sora: now, hold out your hand and you'll receive your 1st Esper
Kogoro: alright
As Kogoro receives his 1st Project X-Zone Esper, Kogoro has obtained Pompy, the Presumptous.
Kogoro: fascinating
Mii: are there more of them out there?
Sora: we'll find out
As the heroes returned to the mansion from the Blue Beam of Light.
