Once again, be brutally honest with reviews. I'm not going to be offended. If you don't like a character in the story, please explain why and I will try my best to make them as in-character to the DBZ universe as possible!

P.S. : Give me some suggestions for what could happen next, guys! I will definitely consider them!

Bardock put on a burst of speed after sensing that his wife and son were much farther ahead towards the Outpost.

Damn, this energy sensing really came in handy. His scouter's only real use now was for filing and if he wanted to put a number on energy signatures. Even that wasn't very necessary as he could easily sense if a power level is lower or higher than his own or someone else's. How many more tricks did Kakarot have up his sleeve?

Speaking of tricks, he had to remember to dig for information regarding reviving people. Kakarot knew of some way to do it before he tried changing the subject...But where could he find information on this?

"The Royal Palace," Bardock realized. He wasn't sure if they'd have any info, but it was his best bet-

"What, no!" Bardock's thoughts were interrupted as he could feel Gine's energy decreasing. It still felt strong, but it was lowering, as though she were getting exhausted...

"I knew bringing her along was a bad idea!" he shouted, forcing more Ki into his flight as his speed increased further. There was a loud boom and he kept his arms at his sides, hoping to decrease air resistance. It was an uninterrupted flight and he could sense his son a little ways behind, flying in the same direction as he. Bardock looked behind him, but couldn't spot the Saiyan with a goofy attitude anywhere. His eyes narrowed, and he looked forward again.

There it was. The Outpost! It was within running distance now, and with his flight, he'd be touching down in seconds. Bending his legs as he descended, he allowed himself to be released from his own hold of Ki and dropped towards the ground. With a muted sound of armored boots meeting the floor, he concentrated, searching for his wife's energy. Ignoring the Spiral Staircase and the muted colors of the wall and floor, he began to fly again, his body much closer to the ground as he sped along.

The hallway seemed to go on forever until he heard crashing and explosions, most likely from energy discharge. He could hear crashing noises in sync with Gine's energy randomly spiking a bit before lowering back. Narrowing his eyes, he put on even more speed, this time rushing through the wall. It gave way under his tremendous speed, and a large hole in the wall was left behind as he shoulder tackled a pink mass of armored flesh before it could perform what looked like a finishing blow.

Once Bardock collided with him, he went with the crash and rolled to his feet. His new opponent didn't fare so well, and lagged in getting to his feet, stunned as he was.

Dodoria's jaw dropped when he saw who had blindsided him. Bardock wasn't paying attention to him, having looked behind him to check on his wife.

"Does this situation seem familiar?" he scolded. Gine looked away from him, embarrassed.

"I could have handled it!" she nearly yelled. Then grew quiet. "I wasn't hurt."

Bardock scoffed at her bravado but decided to drop the subject. He refocused his attention on Dodoria who was brushing dirt and rubble off of his shoulder pads.

"How the hell are you even alive?" he greeted, his lip curling in disgust at seeing two Saiyans in front of him. One of them should have been a decomposing body by now, recognizing the Saiyan that Frieza had ordered him to kill not too long ago. Bardock smirked with an amused snort.

"You and the rest of Frieza's lapdogs always make the same mistake. You constantly underestimate us!" Bardock slid a leg backwards and spread his arms outward with his fingers closed into a fist. "You all call us weak, when it was us that made your organization so great!"

"Hrngh," Dodoria grumbled, not really listening to the Saiyan upstart. The spiky haired fool had nerve attacking him. Not replying to Bardock's words, he pressed a button on the side of his scouter. To his surprise, his power level was relatively high compared to his crew that he killed on Planet Meat.

"Fifteen thousand, eh? That's not much to brag about. You're still weaker than me, by a lot!" Dodoria gloated, cracking his knuckles.

His scouter beeped again, this time from a communication channel.

"I don't have much time," he said to the Saiyans after a small pause. Then he smiled. "I'll make sure I kill you this time, then I'll take care of the skank!" Bardock's expression darkened at the insult.

"You're right, you don't have much time!" Bardock retorted. He charged at Dodoria, putting most of his Ki into it, preparing to punch a hole into Dodoria's chest.

Dodoria dodged to the side, but was forced to jump in the air, nearly crashing his head into the ceiling to avoid Gine's Ki blast. Snarling, Dodoria landed on the ground, sizing up his opponents. His Scouter scanned the two beings again, as he'd neglected to measure the woman's power level.

Bardock has 15,000 and the girl's 5400. Both of them combined can barely match me! Dodoria smirked before charging forward. His spiked arm was chambered backwards and he punched at Bardock, who barely had time to block. His defense was shattered as the magenta-skinned alien followed up with an elbow strike at Bardock's head. As he was knocked down with a cry of pain, Gine attempted another attack, this time charging in with a kick to the side of Dodoria's head. He hadn't blocked in time and was pushed to the side slightly from the force of it, but was otherwise unharmed save for a slight bruise.

"I already made short work of your partner. Now to kill you then finish him," he laughed.

Gine's eyes widened before attempting to withdraw backwards and create some space. With near blinding speed, Dodoria had grabbed her leg and threw her in the opposite direction. She yelped in surprise before crashing into the wall, cracking it on impact but not quite breaking it.

"Owww!" she whispered, attempting to right herself. She looked over to her left and could see Bardock slowly getting back up, even though he still looked dizzy. She quickly wondered where Kakarot was. If only he was here, he could probably make short work of this guy. Clenching her fists, she prepared for another attack from the former henchman. Maybe if she could distract him long enough, Bardock could rejoin the fight.

"Was that supposed to hurt? Maybe you're actually a pushover!"

Gine's attempt at bluffing probably worked a little too well. There a bulging vein on Dodoria's forehead.

"You want to die quickly, do you?" The villain retorted angrily.

Gine's Ki sensing training saved her life as she felt Dodoria's Ki spike dangerously. She jumped before kicking off the wall, narrowly missing Dodoria, who attempted to charge forward ad bludgeon her with his spiked arms. A loud crash was heard, and Gine quickly turned around to see that the cracked portion of wall was now open space.

Dodoria growled before turning around, realizing that he was just outsmarted.

At this time, Bardock had finally righted himself and stood in front of Gine.

"Gine, get out of here and meet up with Kakarot!"

The Saiyaness hesitated. "But Bardock, he's too strong for you! What if we can't get back in time?"

The Saiyan laughed momentarily with eyes closed. "You doubt me that much?"

She couldn't help it, but the statement left her feeling a little guilty. Bardock tossed his Scouter to her and she nodded. She began to hover in the air before making her way back down the hallway.

"Oh, no you don't!" Dodoria shouted, dashing towards Gine's back. His chase was cut short when a fist collided with his cheek, smashing him into the wall for a second time. He recovered easily, but was now sporting a slightly bleeding lip. He wiped the blood running down his chin with a finger and gazed scornfully at Bardock who's face was more serious than ever.

"You're gonna stay away from her. You're fighting me!"
