Once again, be brutally honest with reviews. I'm not going to be offended. I hope you're getting a feel for what's in store later!

P.S. : Give me some suggestions for what could happen next, guys! I will definitely consider them!

"How goes the study?" Zorn asked as he came to a stop behind a seated man with a very large beard. The bearded man had a bald head and wore rimmed eye wear of a sort.

"It has gone exponentially well, sir!" the man replied excitedly, swiveling around in his chair. "The Saiyan genetics...It's like nothing I've seen before!" he continued. He was standing now and stepped to the side, allowing Zorn a clearer view of the screen that was set in front of the seat. It sat on a large terminal connected to several other computers that other scientists were seated in front of. They were most likely assistant scientists.

Zorn moved closer to the computer, standing next to the elder man. The screen depicted an image of Saiyan DNA. To the right of the image, a profile of the common Saiyan brain was shown.

"As you can see," the scientist began, his tone becoming more professional as he was in his element. "This gland here, the hypothalamus." He slid his finger across the screen, creating a digital border around a small spheroid object on the display. "This gland via the Pituitary gland influences emotions. Sadness, happiness, anger, passion."

He then guided Zorn to another screen showing a full body diagram of a Saiyan.

"Now this is what the gland does." He pressed a button on the console, causing the diagram of the Saiyan body begin to grow muscles and the hair shown on the diagram began to spike upward. He then pointed at the moving lines that represented blood flow.

"Extreme emotion," Zorn remembered the man saying. The scientist nodded his head in agreement. Zorn grunted in understanding. No wonder the Original Super Saiyan was believed to be a merely a legend even by it's own people. Zorn understood that as Saiyans, they were not very much in tune with their own emotions. As an advisor and tactician, he wasn't very sure how possible it would be for himself to ever attain such an ability.

"In order for this process to occur, the Hypothalamus, and by principle, the Pituitary gland must be overstimulated," the scientist elaborated.

"We've studied the recording you gave us of Frieza's...assassination. This 'Super Saiyan' State causes increased blood flow, slight muscle increase and so on." The elderly man adjusted his eyewear and took a deep breath. "But the more amazing part is what it does to a Saiyan's power level."

"Which is?" Zorn asked almost immediately. What information the scientists managed to glean about the 'Super Saiyan' was already piquing his interest.

"It increases the user's power level...fifty-fold."

"Are you serious?" the royal advisor's jaw dropped at the estimation. The Super Saiyan transformation was that strong?

The scientist nodded, his face quite serious. "But that isn't even the most amazing thing."

Zorn's eyes widened at his claim. What could possibly be more brilliant than what he had just heard?

"We've also studied Broly's blood sample as you requested. What we've found is...is quite strange."

"As I explained before, the Hypothalamus and Pituitary gland are directly related to this transformation. The two glands of Broly's are proportionately larger. He will be more in touch with his emotions, even if, say, it were to be suppressed. All of the cells in his body that relate to a person's energy...it constantly collects energy. Any normal being's cells are not supposed to collect energy when they are idle...but his does."

"His power level will constantly increase," Zorn realized, both in awe and dread. The scientist wordlessly agreed.

"It's a hereditary gene as well. He inherited it from his mother. It's recessive for his parent, but it's a dominant genotype in Broly's case."

Zorn thanked the man for the information before departing to the Palace.

Once there, he wordlessly made his way to the throne room, constantly turning over in his head what the elderly scientist had relayed to him. Broly could easily overpower every Saiyan of the Super Elite class by the time he was a teenager! And to think that King Vegeta had left him for dead. Under different circumstances, Broly could very well have taken revenge on the late King were he old enough. The thought left him at awe of how powerful a Saiyan could truly become, but also left him with a sick feeling. He wasn't sure why, exactly, but something about the Queen's interest in Broly did not bode well.

Goku finally had neared the Outpost, but his mother was already exiting the building through a window. Noticing him, she began waving to him. Once Goku was close enough, he stopped his flight and began to hover where he was in front of her. Goku noticed smoke coming out of the outpost behind her.

"Are you alright?" he asked immediately. He noticed small bruises on her arms, but overall she didn't look very damaged.

She nodded once, a frown on her face as she did so. Goku focused on her arms momentarily before looking her in the eye.

"Dodoria's in there," she announced worriedly. She looked behind her, as though she would see Bardock flying behind her any second now. "We have to hurry! Zarbon has the Engine! He's probably going to be offplanet any second now!"

"Don't worry, I'll find him," he assured. "If dad's in troube, please get him out of there. Tell him I got the Engine covered," he answered, placing two fingers to his forehead. "I'll be back shortly."

"But Kakarot! We can't take hi-"

Goku dematerialized before she could complete her sentence and she exhaled tiredly. Both her and Bardock could barely hold off Dodoria as it was. Steeling herself, she knew that he was probably having more trouble now that he was by himself facing Dodoria. Taking her son's advice, she turned around and flew back towards Bardock's location.

As for Goku, he had locked onto a mass of energy signatures close to the outside of the outpost. True to his hunch, it was a launching bay littered with ships and spacepods. Unfortunately, there were soldiers everywhere, retreating into the vehicles.

"I should probably concentrate on the highest one..." he observed, closing his eyes and focusing. Many of the average powers below were relatively low, but much higher than the average human being on Earth. In his mind's eye, it was dozens of small flames moving around restlessly. One of these small flames caught his focus, as it burned much brighter than the rest down below.

"That must be the one," he figured, utilizing his Instant Transmission again.

The noise of whistling wind sounded and then it sounded again as he suddenly found himself inside of a medium sized jet-like ship of some sort.

"Wow, I've never seen an alien ship larger than a spacepod," he said aloud, surveying the spacious interior. There was a large computer console to his left, an open doorway to his front that led deeper into the ship and a supply closet to his right. The walls were a common off-white, making the interior colors resemble the Capsule Corp. ship he took to Namek.

"Dodoria, is that you? Took you long enough-"

Goku's brows raised at the sudden greeting and he turned his roaming head back to the doorway he noticed earlier. There stood a pale-blue skinned alien who wore a shocked expression.

"Excuse me, lady," he greeted with a wave. The stranger's expression looked even more shocked.

"I'm looking for a Driver Engine thing. If you have it, you mind handing it over?"

"Wha...I am not a woman!" the man, offended, nearly shouted. Goku only squinted his eyes and scratched the side of his face.

"Oh! Sorry!" he recanted with a laugh. "I almost couldn't tell for a second!" If anything, he thought it was a woman that trained a lot. But then again, he'd never seen a woman on Earth that built. Except maybe that one time when he was a kid and Master Roshi asked him to-

"Listen Saiyan," the blue-skinned man announced, interrupting his internal monologue. "I suggest you leave this ship right now. I am not in the mood and you are testing my patience."

Goku's face instantly became serious. "Me neither," he replied. "But I really need that Engine. Please hand it over and I'll be on my way."

The feminine looking man wrinkled his nose in distaste at the Saiyan Warrior's audacity. Silently, he activated his Scouter, the device scanning the stranger's Battle Power. Unfortunately for him, his scouter exploded after reaching 28,000.

Goku hadn't bothered to suppress his energy at this point and was in a hurry. "Just tell me where it is and I'll be leaving."

Zarbon clenched his teeth, his gaze momentarily locking onto the Driver Engine which was propped against the computer console. Goku noticed this action and began to walk toward it.

"This must be it. Sorry, but I really need to take this with me."

With quickness, Zarbon lunged forward, attempting to disable Goku with a punch to the stomach. He smirked as his fist connected.

"Wait," he muttered. Goku hadn't reacted. While he did double over, he didn't grunt in pain, or even crumpled to the ground. They stayed like this for several seconds before Zarbon knew something was wrong.

"Well, can't say I didn't ask nicely," Goku said with a friendly laugh, his head still bowed. One of Zarbon's eyes narrowed in confusion, before Goku lashed out with his arm, backhanding Zarbon in the side of the face. Goku held back most of his power, causing Zarbon's form to not crash through the ship's hull, but it did manage to shake the ship a bit. He slumped where he lay, apparently unconscious.

Goku sighed, kneeling to recover the Engine, before bringing his fingers to his forehead once again.

"Take this! And this! And this, too!" Dodoria's shouts could be heard, accompanied by fists meeting flesh, and the occasional explosion. Bardock was lifted bodily into the air by the force of Dodoria's uppercut. He hit the ground with a loud thud and he hissed in pain, his jaw ringing from the pink brute's punch.

Bardock moved his jaw around, massaging the side of his face. It didn't feel like anything was broken, but that could have been adrenaline speaking. Rising to his feet, he swayed momentarily, before forcing himself to focus on the former henchman.

"That all you can do, fatass?" He mocked, raising his fists into a fighting stance. Dodoria growled angrily before charging forward again. This time, Bardock was prepared, and lunged forward as well. He ducked at the last second, thrusting his arm outward and elbow striking the large fighter in the side of the head. His defense gave way and he crashed into the wall, headfirst.

Dodoria pulled his head out of the wall with minimal effort, annoyed beyond belief at this point. Bardock shouldn't have been able to hold his own against him for so long. Dodoria stretched his neck on either side, working the kinks out of his muscles.

"I should have made sure you were dead. You monkeys don't know how to properly roll over and die."

Bardock remained silent, slowly beginning to force Ki into his right hand. The technique may not have worked on Frieza, but dammit, he was going to kill someone today. Bardock pumped Ki into his heand steadily, the visual effects of it not yet revealing itself.

However, Dodoria's scouter was beeping in warning, much to Dodoria's shock and dismay.

"What? You're power level is rising? But how!?"

Barock smirked in triumph, remaining half focused on his Ki.

"I'm stronger than before, Dodoria. You may have killed my crew, but on my honor, I will end you today!"

20,000! No, 22,000! 24,000! 28,000!? Before the number could rise any higher, Dodoria's scouter exploded, causing Dodoria to wince.

"You little twerp! You won't be making a fool of me!" the pink brute exploded, charging at Bardock with as much strength as he could muster. Bardock leaped into the air, his feet connecting with the ceiling. However, Dodoria expected this and unleashed a mouth blast, with nearly all of his Ki put into it.

Bardock remained a step ahead, and instead of trying to actively evade it, which would have gotten him gravely injured or even killed, he allowed himself to drop from the ceiling, the brilliant and massive beam passing directly overhead.

The beam finally dissipated. Dodoria was panting heavily, perspiration trailing down his forehead and the side of his face. It was done. There wasn't even anything left of him! He smirked, still breathing heavily and released a small chuckle. This time, he was dead for sure-

"I'm right here, tons of fun."

"WHAT!?"

Bardock was crouched in front of him, below his line of sight. Bardock glared at him with a toothy smile before releasing a guttural roar. His right hand contained a volleyball sized ball of blinding blue light, which he shoved forward, directly at Dodoria's chest.

He could barely form the word "No" before the ball collided with his body, making it convulse and spasm wildly as it began to consume his being.

"For my team," Bardock cited quietly, contrasting with the scream he let out only seconds before. The exploding ball widened into a massive beam that finally erased Dodoria and his corpse from existence.

Bardock took a deep breath.

He fell on his face.

Gine had just turned the corner to where Bardock was lying half conscious on the ground. She immediately assumed the worst, landing at his side and hefting him up by his shoulders and leaning him on her lap.

"Bardock!" she whispered harshly, lightly slapping the side of his face. She almost forgot about sensing his Ki, and could tell that he was barely conscious and his energy was extremely low. Even so, concern was etched on her face, repeatedly calling his name, hoping he'd respond.

"Dammit, Gine. Shut up," he finally uttered. The words may have been a bit harsh, but a lazy smile was on Bardock's face. His wife smiled as well, hugging his prone form as best she could.

"What happened to Dodoria?" she asked after calming down. Bardock laughed lightly, the action hurting his chest a little. His little stunt left him a bit more sore than usual. "As you can see, he took a little trip to the other side." Although he couldn't exact his revenge on Frieza, killing the lapdog directly responsible for his team's ambush removed a bit of the weight on his heart. He felt more relaxed than ever now that he was able to do something to honor their memory.

Goku chose this moment to suddenly materialize in the hallway, a goofy grin on his face and the engine tucked protectively under his arm.

"I knew you could handle it, dad," he applauded with a muted smile. Gine jumped to her feet, unwittingly dropping Bardock to the ground on his head.

"Ow!" he yelled, but his shout went ignored by Gine who stomped over to punch Goku in the shoulder roughly.

"You knew I wouldn't make it on time! What is with you?" she whined. Goku only laughed nervously, rubbing his slightly sore shoulder. He wasn't really getting what she meant but played along with it.

"Well, we got the Engine. All we have to do is get back to Planet Vegeta!" he cheered, tossing the engine into the air and catching it. "Mom, dad, grab my shoulders!"

"A little help here?" Bardock growled from his position on the floor.

A/N: ...What the heck does Okra want with Broly's blood!? Why wasn't Vegeta in this chapter!? What the heck is Cooler's family doing!? Find out on the next Dragon Ball Z!

Fufufu, did you like that Science in the beginning? I remembered reading that Broly's Legendary Super Saiyan Trasformation was genetic, which is why you didn't see other saiyans doing it. I figured, since it was genetic, I'd make it hereditary. It can also explain why Burokori's power is disturbingly high but not ridiculously so. Well, it is ridiculously high compared to the average Saiyan right now.

P.S. :Be brutally honest with your reviews and Feedback, and give suggestions on anything that you believe would add to the story and I may consider it! 'Till next chapter!
