Once again, be brutally honest with reviews. I'm not going to be offended. I hope you're getting a feel for what's in store later! Give me flames (with reasons why), so that I may become stronger!

P.S. : Give me some suggestions for what could happen next, guys! I will definitely consider them!

The shelter was empty.

And then it wasn't.

In the blink of an eye, Goku and his parents were suddenly just there. The earth-raised Saiyan removed his fingers from atop his forehead, keeping an eye on his parents. Gine blinked in confusion, still unused to Goku's teleportation ability. Bardock hardly noticed, as semi-conscious as he was. He was slumped over the shoulder of his wife, who guided him to a nearby seat.

"Thanks," he mumbled under his breath, breathing in and then out through his nose.

Gine rested her head atop Bardock's, feeling slightly ticklish from his split ends caressing her jaw.

"So, what do we do with the Engine?" she asked. She relaxed after looping her arms around Bardock's torso. Her husband sighed, relaxing more into Gine's embrace.

"I dunno. We aren't due back for another four hours at least. Don't feel like going anywhere early."

Bardock closed his eyes, his breathing already slowing down to a steady pace. Gine tried caling his name while lightly slapping his face.

She looked towards Goku and shrugged. He was out of it.

Goku returned the shrug and sighed, plopping down on a seat across the table from his unconscious father... "Well, I guess there's nothing we can do about it now," he nodded his head in thought.

Gine studied Goku's face for a second before speaking up.

"Do you really think it's possible I can be a Super Saiyan?" she queried, resting her chin on a knuckle. Goku looked reflective before nodding confidently.

"I don't see why not. My sons can go Super Saiyan, and they're only half-Saiyan."

"You...have kids?" Gine retorted, eyes wide. It sounded so surreal, especially since the Kakarot in front of her was from so far into the future that he was older than her and Bardock. Would that mean at least one of them was the same age as her or her husband?

Goku laughed lightly, as though he caught on to the awkwardness of his statement. "Haha, yeah. In fact, one of them has already surpassed me!"

"He's even stronger than you!?" That was amazing! Her own son was already absurdly powerful, but she was going to have a grandson even more powerful than him! Gine leaned back in her chair. Thinking about all of this when she was still in the younger part of her years would be too much to reflect on.

"So did you stay on Earth, or go to another planet?"

Goku was curious as to how she knew about Earth but decided not to question it. It might have been something that he forgot when he was younger and probably not important. He remembered Raditz all those years ago, telling him he was sent to Earth. Maybe his parents sent him?

"I stayed on Earth. The people there are great! Vegeta and I settled down there with our own families." Goku's face took on a conspiratorial expression and he leaned forward and looked to his sides as though looking for bugs.

"Don't tell Vegeta I told you this, but he has a son as well."

"Oh, wow, that's amazing!" Gine applauded before nearly instantly sobering.

"I take it I wasn't part of your life at all, huh?"

Goku didn't know how to respond to that, lowering his eyes in thought. Gine continued to speak.

"If you and the Prince hadn't shown up from the future, we'd have all died." She sighed, exhaling through her nose and folding her arms.

Goku nodded, forcing a smile. "Well, there's nothing to worry about now! And we'll make sure Frieza's family doesn't bother anyone anymore. I promise," he assured, still grinning softly. Gine half smiled in reply, forcing herself not to tear up and ruin the moment.

Bardock's scouter went off, making a constant beeping noise. Bardock hadn't budged at all, even though the scouter was situated in front of his face. His wife shook her head, amused, before reaching over to grab the ringing device. She clicked the button several times after she put it on, before frowning.

"What is it?" Goku asked. As if he would hear better, he leaned forward on the table, resting his elbow on the table.

"The Queen wants to see Bardock for some reason." She wasn't sure why, and didn't see what the point in Bardock talking to the queen was. She glanced at Bardock. He was still knocked out with his head hanging low, his messy hair obscuring the upper portion of his face.

Kid Vegeta jumped backwards from the target after planting a hard kick to it's side. His hands were closed into fists and raised to eiter side of his head. Narrowing his eyes, he leaped to the side, thrusting his hand forward. A decently sized ball of Ki shot from his open palm, colliding with the training dummy. Right on impact, there was a flash, then smoke, and then the young Vegeta's exhausted panting.

The training dummy, which was barely humanoid shaped, contained a lit diode in the area which would be considered the torso. It's red glow then dimmed after a pregnant pause, before glowing green. The training was a success. The child princ sighed before dropping his guard and making his way to a wall and palming it's surface. A towel shot out from an opening slot, which he proceeded to dry his face with.

"Hey," a deeper voice greeted a small distance away.

Vegeta was impressed. His child counterpart didn't flinch at his sudden appearance. Instead he had paused at the sound of his voice, before quickly finishing the use of his towel.

"What are you doing here?" the young prince asked, tossing the towel. His older self shrugged, his arms folded, idly looking around the training room. He recognized it as a room he often used in his childhood. This and a separate room that spawned Saibamen.

"I want to know how far you've gotten in your training."

This time, it was the younger Prince's turn to shrug. "I don't think I'm anywhere close to finally becoming legendary." The untested warrior's voice was surprisingly quiet for someone of his ubringing. He sat down indian style, resting his chin on his knuckles. To the boy's surprise, Vegeta sat down an arm's length across from him, mirroring his seated position.

"Let me see your scouter," Vegeta gestured his hand out. His younger self hesitated before tossing it to him.

Vegeta turned it on before scanning the kid in front of him.

13,000. Pretty strong for a kid, if he remembered correctly.

"Not bad, you seemed to have gotten stronger since earlier today." Without warning, Vegeta tossed the scouter back to him. "You're on the right track. Remember, half of the path to Super Saiyan isn't just power. You have need it, not want it."

The boy in front of him sighed in exasperation, looking off to the side. "You told me that already. How the hell do I just make myself need it?"

Vegeta had to think about that. For his own son, Trunks, he hadn't needed to teach him how to become Super Saiyan at all. He just...did it. He guessed what irritated him about it initially was the utter ease in which his son achieved it.

He never got to really teach him how to become a Super Saiyan. And now he did have someone to teach.

"Part of what will help you to ascend is to think of something that makes you angry. It serves as a catalyst." Vegeta rose from his seated position and folded his arms. "Stand up," he ordered firmly. His younger counterpart scowled, but did not hesitate in complying.

"Now, plant your feet. Remember what I said earlier today and just moments ago. Reach deep inside of yourself and think of something that makes you angry," the experienced warrior demanded, watching the young prince intently. Kid Vegeta nodded, widening his stance and bringing his fists to either side of his hips. The boy's aura quickly began to matrerialize as it burst forth, but there was no change to it's muted violet hue.

"Don't think of something trivial. It has to be something deep inside yourself!" Vegeta egged on, studying his younger self's energy. "You have pride, of course! But what is something that is even more valuable than your pride? Family." He continued. He could see that Kid Vegeta's face was concentrating greatly. His eyes were closed and he could even see what could have been a vein throbbing on his temple. But he wasn't mad enough yet.

"Think about King Vegeta! What might have happened if you could have overpowered Frieza!? If you even knew your father was on the ship!"

The older man observed that the child was getting angrier. But there was still something stopping him from transforming. His aura was flickering between a muted violet and gold, but there was that small line his young self still needed to cross.

Vegeta still stood there, arms folded, as he watched his counterpart struggle to ascend. What was missing? What stopped himself from ascending, when he'd saw Kakarot become a Super Saiyan? Besides anger, what was the catalyst?

His eyes widened in realization.

When he had first ascended all those years ago. It wasn't just anger. It was humility. He felt humiliated completely when Kakarot had first become Super Saiyan. It had felt as if life no longer had meaning and he nearly accepted death.

It was the first time he had let go of his pride. Perhaps his own counterpart needed to do the same as well?

"Vegeta. Think to yourself, what if your pride had no meaning. What if there were no Saiyans that you could represent." He had to pause to calm himself before continuing. "Think about what Frieza was about to do. I know you've seen the recording. What if he succeeded?"

"I don't know," his younger self ground out with grit teeth. The older warrior scowled.

"You do know. What it you were the Prince of a dead race?" he said deliberately.

"No!"

"What if you were?"

"NO!"

"Saiyan pride is devalued when someone can blow up our planet with the flick of a finger!"

The kid finally snapped, shouting in protest. There was a spike in the Kid's energy all of a sudden...Vegeta only remembered a small flash of light that lasted only half a second before hearing the telltale sound of constantly releasing energy.

"...What is this?"

The young man was examining his arms and hands, noticing that there seemed to be a light source shining onto his gloves and jumpsuit. Where was it coming from?

The older Vegeta smirked in satisfaction. "You've done it," he said proudly. In response to his younger self's amazed expression, he pointed at the nearby mirror situated near where the towel was retrieved. Vegeta turned to look at it, verbalizing his awe.

Gold hair. Green eyes?

"So it," the young man paused, excitement nearly overriding what he was trying to say. "This is really what it looks like?" He studied his face, arms, hands, his whole body in the mirror before looking down at his hands again. He didn't know how to sense energy, but it's like he could just feel something there. Was his energy really that big now?

Vegeta didn't respond with words, but instead tensed his body momentarily and a burst of wind emanated outward accompanied by his own transformation. This time it was much more instant as opposed to his deliberately slow version against Frieza.

"This is amazing!" his younger self shouted in excitement. He was nearly giddy with enthusiasm! "Er, how do I power down?" he suddenly asked. As esciting as it was, he didn't want to just walk around as a Super Saiyan. As much as he wanted to beat something up now as a fresh Super Saiyan, he doubted he could even scratch the much more experienced older man.

"Imagine Super Saiyan is a Spacepod and imagine that you're walking out of that pod." The boy raised an eyebrow at the statement but did what he said. As the older man expected, his hair darkened to black and the gold aura faded into the air. Young Vegeta looked at his hands and arms again. They were back to normal and he belatedly realized the transformation made his muscles slightly larger.

Vegeta powered down as well after a deep breath.

"Well, I'm going to bed. And now, becoming a Super Saiyan should be less of a strain for you now. Just remember that it should be as easy as imagining the transformation happening now." He gave his younger self a thumbs up before turning to leave.

"Hey wait!" Kid Vegeta ran up to his older self, thrusting his fist forward in front of him, waiting for a response. Vegeta half-smiled before lightly tapping the kid's fist with his own.

They both walked out of the training room, a Saiyan woman having watched the whole exchange from one of the many small windows situated around the room. She frowned at the display of power she'd seen. Did it truly mean that anyone could attain this power? She'd have to learn this power and finally be able to challenge the man and win. It was only a matter of time before she had him.

A/N: ...Who the heck was the psycho watching Vegeta from the window? Why is Gine not pleased? Should Goku mention a muffin button next chapter!? Find out on the next Dragonball Z!

Fufufu, Kid Vegeta has become a Super Saiyan! I know that an untrained Super Saiyan is usually very aggressive or the power feels alien to them somehow when not mastered, so I'll definitely try to show that in later chapters. Also, there will be more Broly next chapter! Of course, he won't have any dialogue, since he's like, what, a day old? I mean of course if add Legendary baby cooing or something.

Btw, I promise a fight scene next chapter. And it might get dangerous. 'Till next chapter.

P.S. :Be brutally honest with your reviews and Feedback, and give suggestions on anything that you believe would add to the story and I may consider it! 'Till next chapter!
