I really have no excuse for the long wait. I changed jobs so my schedule has been fluctuating. But I'm no way, shape, or form, abandoning this story. I'm striving to complete it, and hopefully, the final chapter will be a long way off.

Read and Review, and give any suggestions you might have.

I also have a poll for this story I set up, check it out on my profile.

"What kind of joke is this?" he stated after a pregnant pause, the frown on his face having deepened after processing what Okra just said.

"Why would I go through all this trouble for laughs?"

Bardock figured it didn't take much effort on her part to announce a summons, anyway, but chose not to call her out on it. Besides, she had a point, he had to grudgingly admit.

"Before I tell you no," Bardock began, in turn causing Okra's brows to lower in annoyance, "Why me? Why not Nappa? Isn't he like the Saiyan army's biggest hard-ass?"

Okra only briefly laughed heartily, only making Bardock raise an eyebrow.

"Sure, he's strong, but we already know you're stronger. That fight speaks for itself." Okra turned to face him again, slowly closing the distance a second time. The low class's eyes narrowed as she came to a stop directly behind him, invading his personal space.

His head snapped to the side, feeling Okra resting her hands on either of his shoulders.

"Think ofwhat you could do as King. Didn't you always want to change Saiyan society?" she asked as though it was rhetorical, but for Bardock, the suggestion was oddly specific. How would she know what he would want?

...Though the prospect of being King was attractive...

"Think of all the things you could do. What you could do to me..."

Bardock belatedly realized she was massaging his shoulders and jerked them away from her.

"I have a woman," he stated with finality.

"You could always have more than one..." she suggested without completing the sentence.

Bardock almost felt ashamed that he had to think about that for a second.

"N-no!" he stuttered, internally shaking his head at the queen's off-color comment.

Okra almost looked disappointed, but it all seemed to be an act as she sighed, rolling her eyes.

"Fine, you're dismissed then."

Bardock didn't move immediately, mainly because of the nonchalant manner in which she said it. He could go? Just like that?

"What's your angle?" he asked after some thought.

"Did I stutter, Bardock?" she retorted, as though she wasn't even aware she tried to seduce him merely moments ago. "You refused my offer, so you may leave."

The psychic turned as if to leave, pausing a second, before turning completely and walking out the door.

"What the hell was all that about..?" he muttered, turning his head to look at the now closed throne room doors. Something about that whole encounter didn't seem right to him, but mulling it over now wouldn't pull an answer out of nowhere. Gathering his Ki, he flew off, figuring that Kakarot would find his way back to his home with that teleporting move of his.

The first thing Goku did upon transmitting into the Palace was to find some sort of room with documents of some kind. If your first thought was the kitchen, well you're wrong. He ate before he left his parent's house. He remembered Vegeta's words, and though he didn't look like it to Vegeta, he was a bit concerned that the Queen was so interested in becoming a Super Saiyan. He thought about his rival's worries, that the Saiyans would ultimately become what the Planet Trade Organization and Frieza's family were.

He knew sneaking around the palace was something he shouldn't be doing, but he was getting a bit impatient himself with the lack of progress they were making in getting back to their own time. While it was fun to meet his parents, he knew it wouldn't be right to be staying here any longer. He resolved to pay his parents a visit in Otherworld when he returned home.

Perhaps if he could find something, anything that could give him some clue as to what was going on. And while he was at it, if he could find anything pertaining to time travel. If that info could be anywhere, it'd have to be in the Palace, right?

Currently, he was in a hallway, doors on either side of the hall. Part of the hallway that branched off into another hall had it's floor covered by a red carpet which seemed to lead to what was probably the Throne Room.

"Where would I even start to look?" Goku whispered to himself as he scratched the back of his head.

"Hm, that man has some nerve."

Goku's eyes nearly bulged out of sockets, thinking he was found loitering where he shouldn't be, but noticed there was no one near him. He could hear the sound of boots hitting the floor, and he hid behind a corner, instinctually suppressing his power level as he did so.

He was right to do so, as one of the two strangers that turned the corner was wearing a scouter. The individual wearing the scouter was slightly taller than the person he was following behind, a woman who seemed to be wearing some fancy armor with a crest adorned on it.

Goku figured that she was probably the Queen.

"My Queen, he is a lower class Saiyan...even if he did assist in destroying Frieza..."

"Well, finding a new husband will have to wait, then. How is the research on Broly going?"

Goku's brows lowered at the mention of that name. Broly? Research? Those two specific words in the same sentence did not bode well. He would know. He's fought the guy. And if the Queen is researching Broly...

Goku narrowed his eyes as the two left from earshot, trying to remember the name of Broly's father. If he recalled correctly, he wasn't such a bad guy to begin with, if there was any truth to his past. He doubted that he was aware of what the Queen was talking about.

Silently, Goku prepared his instant transmission, intent on revealing this information to Vegeta, and Broly's father, if he could.

A/N: This chapter is short, not gonna lie. I haven't touched the story in a while, and wasn't sure exactly how to do this specific chapter. However, soon, we will get more Cold Family. So be prepared for that. And my response to the Lemon request.

NopeNopeNopeNopeNopeNopeNope.

Sorry, but I don't write those, lol. Also, it would be waaaay out of character. I appreciate the review though, XD
