Chapter 14: Dead Re-Rising
On the cruise ship, Bermuda, Nick, one of the Elemental Keyblade Knights, was relaxing on his vacation after becoming a keyblade master, but little does he expect, he had no idea what was going to happen next.
Nick: Boy, this is the life, i'm surprised any others haven't come looking for me yet, but still, Masters Yen Sid and Dummont instructed us to look for the pedestals and place these cornerstones of light on them, huh? who's that over there?
Nick raised his sunglasses and noticed four people investigating the Bermuda ship.
?: So, you're Rikiya Busujima, special agent for the Ministry of the Interior
Her name is Chun-Li, her voice was made by Laura Bailey.
His name is Rikiya Busujima, his voice was made by Steve Blum.
(Cue Cutscene Music: Seaside Hill - Modern from Sonic Generations.)
?: And you're here to investigate the top-secret ''U.D.S'' operation?
Rikiya: Well, U.D.S wound up getting stopped just before it went into full service, Unfortunately, some of its, um, ''products'' got leaked out to the black market, that's why you guys are here, isn't it? because you're trying to catch them? your name is Chun-Li, right? agent for Interpol?
Chun Li: ...It is
Rikiya: And you happen to be Trish the Devil Hunter, right?
Her name is Trish from the Devil May Cry games, her voice was made by Grey Delisle.
Trish: I am
Rikiya: I was expecting you two, but i wasn't expecting the San Francisco PD
?: Yeah, well, let's just say, me and this ship, the Bermuda, go way back
His name is Bruno Delinger, his voice was made by Dwayne Johnson.
Chun-Li: Just try not to cause any damage until we're done here, okay, Mr. Dynamite?
Bruno: Aw, come on, can't you drop that already? My name's Bruno Delinger, you know
Rikiya: The cop who's caused $14 billion dollars in damage, eh? You're bad luck, i would say
Bruno: Hey, look, as long as we don't run into any trouble, everything will be fine, okay? let's just get started with this investigation already
Chun-Li: Right, we'll split up and give this ship a full inspection
Chun-Li, Bruno, Trish, and Rikiya begin to investigate the ship by going inside the Engine Room, after a while, they meet...
?: Ni hao, Chun-Li!
Her name is Hsien-Ko, her voice was made by Cherami Leigh.
Chun-Li: Hsien-Ko? Wht are you doing here in the Engine Room?
Rikiya: This girl ain't human, is she? i can feel it
Trish: I don't feel any demon aura from her
Bruno: Huh, some sorta monster? that's kinda outside my area of expertise
Hsien-Ko: Look, i'm not a monster, i don't have a demon aura inside of me, i just used my senjutsu abilities to turn into this
Chun-Li: True, but you still aren't a human being any longer, exactly, but if a Dark Hunter like you is onboard, Hsien-Ko, then that must mean...
Hsien-Ko: Oh, yes! very suspicious, this ship is
Bruno: So, some freaks from that U.D.S. thing or whatever were smuggled on here?
Hsien-Ko: No, not that, something from the Makai world, maybe? i don't know yet
Chun-Li: Makai? W-What do you...
Rikiya: Guys, we better drop the topic for now, something's wrong with this boat, do you feel it?
Bruno: Mm? Not really, it is kind of quiet, though
Hsien-Ko: Yeah, you're right, like, right now, i think we're the only ones on this ship, the cameraman who was with me just disappeared, i was looking for him, but...
Chun-Li: Cameraman? Hmm, we better start searching around this ship for some clues
Hsien-Ko: I also saw this strange guy in a coat outside, i'm not sure if he's friendly or not
Trish: Hmm, come to think of it, i did saw him while we're on our way to the Engine Room, he was by the beach chairs when i took a little look at him
Chun-Li: Let's go ask him then, apparently, we know him and his brother, they were a part of the Keyblade Knights we've heard about
The group then exit the Engine Room to go outside to find Nick, who is still relaxing for his so-called vacation...
Nick: Boy, this is getting really boring, someone of my status needs a little bit of action from time to time, but, nope, this is my vacation, i can't have any action, maybe some, but not that much action

Hsien-Ko: Ni Hao!
Nick: Whoa! ''Summons Keyblade'' Who the heck are you guys?
Chun-Li: Hold on! We're not trying to fight you, all we want to know is who you are
Nick: Um... okay, ''puts away keyblade'' My name's Nick
Hsien Ko: Nick? where have i heard that name before?
Trish: You happen to be the ''Warrior of the Heartless'' we presume
Nick: Yes, that's right, but, how did you guys know about us?
Trish: We've heard some things about you and Matthew
Nick: How so?
Hsien-Ko: Umbra somehow instructed you guys to seek a help from the Legendary Keyblade Wielders, right?
Nick: Well, yeah, Master Umbra did send us to the Realms of Light and seek the help of 2 Legendary Keyblade Wielders
Chun-Li: What are their names?
Nick: Sora and Riku
Bruno: Sora and Riku, huh, interesting names
Chun-Li: But, i don't understand, what exactly is going on here? there's nobody else on the ship at all
Rikiya: Hmm, i've heard stories about something like this, Eerie ghost ships, haunted ships, and the like
Bruno: Whoa, whoa, i can take on any terrorist cells, but this, this is outta my field of expertise
Hsien-Ko: I'm really scared of ghosts, but that feeling you had, Rikiya... I think we just found the source of it
Rikiya: Indeed, nice full moon out tonight
Nick: Um, what're you saying?
Chun-Li: What're you talking about, Rikiya?
Trish: What Rikiya is saying, Nick, and Chun-Li, he was talking about her
Trish was referring to a certain woman who was the same who led Valkyrie and Demitri to Dante...
Her name is Morrigan Aensland, her voice was made by Angelina Jolie.
Morrigan: Mmm, yes, under a beautiful full moon like this, anything could happen
Bruno: What the heck? you're a little bit late for Halloween, you know
Chun-Li: Morrigan, Morrigan Aensland! this evil force we felt was you
Morrigan: How nice to see you again, Chun-Li, you too, Hsien-Ko
Trish: You looking lovely as always, Morrgian
Morrigan: Why thank you, Trish, nice to see you again
Trish: Likewise
Morrigan: Where's your partner, Trish?
Trish: You mean President Haggar? well, we've got separated when a strange light send both of us into two separate X-Zone worlds
Morrigan: Well, i hope you'll find him Trish, you have my trust

Morrigan: You're welcome Trish
Hsien-Ko: I don't know why, but, whenever you show up, nothing good ever comes out of it
Rikiya: I don't sense any hostility from her, you guys know each other?
Morrigan: Well, more or less, i suppose, though we live on different X-Zone worlds, something very curious is about to happen in this world, so, i'm just here to watch it
Nick: Okay, that makes sense
But, the only problem was, things could and will probably get worse, first of all, a group of zombies appeared.
?: Yah hahhh! are we havin' fun yet here, guys?!
His name is Lord Raptor, his voice was made by Scott McNeil.
Hsien-Ko: Agh! i knew it!
?: Oooooo? Waaaoooowww! my sweetheart! Hsien-Kohhhh!
Hsien-Ko: Ayya...
Morrigan: Oh, wonderful, you're here too, Lord Raptor?
Lord Raptor: You bet i am!
Trish: What do you want, Lord Raptor?
Lord Raptor: Oh, it's you Trish, didn't expect to see you again, to answer your question, i want Hsien-Ko in my arms, because something huge is about to happen here if you freaks get in my way
Hsien-Ko: Double Ayya...
?: Something i can make into a big story, i hope
And there was a man with a camera that was the same with Hsien-Ko earlier.
?: ...
His name is Frank West, his voice was made by Terence J. Rotolo.
Lord Raptor: Who the heck're you?
Bruno: Hey, i know you, Frank West, right? you covered Willamette, yeah?
Frank: And if it ain't Mr. Dynamite himself, Good to meet you, Bruno, Not to mention Chun-Li, the famed ICPO agent, Trish, the Devil Hunter, Rikiya, Hsien-Ko, Morrigan, the Makai Witch, and Nick, the ''Warrior of the Heartless'', i had a feeling that there was a scoop waiting for me on this ship
Chun-Li: Frank West? You mean the Willamette that incident took place?
Nick: What does Willamette mean?
Rikiya: Willamette, Colorado, it was all supposed to be covered up
Trish: The same Willamette where the first Zombie Outbreak first started, but fortunately, Frank West, the photo journalist got the story already covered
Hsien-Ko: Hey, you're good against zombies, right, Frank? Go get these guys!
Frank: Eesh, more zombies? man, between them and you Hsien-Ko, i just can't lose'em, no offense
Hsien-Ko: None taken
Lord Raptor: Yo, yo, yo! Don't you dare say a word to my Hsien-Ko! Let's just get this show started!
Trish: You're not helping, Lord Raptor, and for the record, Hsien-Ko does not need you, buddy
Lord Raptor: You sure talk stupid for a Devil Hunter, i'll give you that
Trish: Then, permit me to ask you this, you remember Nick, right?
Lord Raptor: Yeah, i remember him alright, he was one of those pesky Keyblade Knights i keep hearing about
Trish: Well, i hope you'll be ready for a butt kicking Lord Raptor, because Nick is eager to beat you up, right Nick?
Nick: Um, yeah, that's right, let's see how powerful you are once we beat you up
Lord Raptor: Bring it on, i'll be happy to send you and those freaks straightto the graveyard, starting with you, Frank West!
Frank: I think i'll pass, thanks something tells me i'm not gonna like this darn show

Lord Raptor: Oh, you'll like it alright, now, Let's Dance!
Project X-Zone Boss Battle: Lord Raptor 1st Battle
The group begin to fight Lord Raptor and his group of zombies, but soon after, more zombies appeared, closely followed by two heavily armed people, and a ninja with the power of Ice.
(Cue Project X-Zone Cutscene music: Hot wind blowing from Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.)
Bruno: Whoa! What're we dealin' with now?!
Frank: I don't know, but, these guys're new to me, not to mention the ninja who controls ice, Were they inside the ship? I don't think i took any pictures of them
Nick: You know something? I think i know those guys, i just don't know why, but, i do know them well
?: Whoops! We got many people on deck! Ugh, guess it was a mistake to chase them up here
His name is Chris Redfield, brother of Claire Redfield who will soon appear later on, his voice was made by Roger Craig Smith.
?: Not quite, Chris, Looks like there's nothing but monsters up here, too, it's just a ghost ship
Her name is Jill Valentine, Chris's partner and friend, her voice was made by Michelle Ruff.
?: Yes, a Ghost ship full of monsters
His name is Sub-Zero from the Mortal Kombat series, his voice was made by Jason David Frank.
Chris: You said it, Look at that zombie freak jumping around over there
Lord Raptor: Huh? Hey! Who the heck do you punks think you're talking to?
Hsien-Ko: We're not all zombies here, guys! There are humans here, too, Plus, me, i guess
?: Who are you people? I'm guessing you guys aren't just innocent bystanders
Chris: And where are we, anyway? the last thing we knew, we were aboard a sinking ship
?: As for me, the first thing i knew, i'm helping out with Raiden on protecting the Earthrealm from Shao Kahn, next thing i knew, we were killed by Sindel, the last thing i knew, we were somehow being brought back to life by a mysterious power and we've been seen sent into the separate X-Zone worlds
Rikiya: Hmm, it sounds like you guys got caught up in the ''rift''
?: Indeed
Frank: You're aboard the Bermuda cruise ship, it was occupied by terrorists not long ago, Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, and Sub-Zero, right? I covered you guys before
Chris: Frank...West? The journalist from the Willamette incident?
Frank: That's right
Chun-Li: Chris, and Jill, You're both in the B.S.A.A., right? Old veterans, too
Rikiya: The B.S.A.A.? The group established after Umbrella went under?
Chun-Li: The Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance
Trish: The same group who destroyed Albert Wesker years ago
Nick: Okay, that makes sense
Chun-Li: Basically, an anti-bioterror unit, You guys work for the United Nations, if i recall
Jill: Well done, looks like you guys know us very well, You're Chun-Li from the ICPO, right?
Chun-Li: Yep, that's right, did you guys happen to know Nick and the Keyblade Knights?
Chris: Yes, we do know them
Sub-Zero: Nick and the other Keyblade Knights know much about us since Celestial Plateau is a part of the X-Zone worlds
Jill: Right, now, let's get down to business, what's going on?
?: That is just a theory of mine...
?: Indeed
Now, more zombies appeared followed by a man and a warrior...
His name is Heihachi Mishima, his voice was made by Gregg Berger.
His name is Jin Kisaragi, his voice was made by Crispin Freeman.
?: But, i would say this, something's happening in Japan again, and there's going to be a bit of unrest soon, Heh heh
Chris: What? Yet another B.O.W.'s?! Who are you?
Hsien-Ko: Hmm, that guy's taking these monsters on with his bare hands, while that warrior slices his enemies with his Kitana, wait a second, have we met before?
Heihachi: Hmm. ah, yes, we see some familiar faces here, I am Mishima, Heihachi Mishima, these weaklings could never slow me down!
Jin: And i'm Jin Kisaragi, from the Blazblue Realm
Chun-Li: Heihachi Mishima? no, that can't be! Look at that black hair of yours, the real one would rip you apart if he knew!
Heihachi: Ah, but that could never happen, for I am the only Heihachi Mishima there is! What more evidence do you need than my word?
Rikiya: You've got multiple intelligence agencies on your tails, you know
Jin: True, Rikiya, but these ''agencies'' you called them behind us, are nothing as weak as they compare to us
Rikiya: But, i didn't get any intel about you changing your appearance
Heihachi: This is all thanks to a new, experimental drug i'm using, Ha ha ha hah!
Nick: A drug that restores your youth? That's crazy, yet importantly, awesome!
Morrigan: Hmm, how young, and how strong you've become, too, Hee hee hee...
Chris: Some kind of metabolism-boosting drug, maybe? With the right viral technology, I guess it's feasible enough
Frank: That, or maybe it's a parasite, or something like that, but anyway, what should we do with him and Jin?
Heihachi: Ah, our old ICPO friend, Morrigan from the Makai realm, Sub-Zero from the X-Zone world of Mortal Kombat, Hsien-Ko from the Makai world, Frank West from X-Zone world of Willamette
Jin: Chris and Jill from the X-Zone world of Resident Evil, let's not forget Nick from the Celestial Plateau, and some of the people here, too, we would gladly take you all on at once with one strike, but for now, how about we work together here and now?
(Cue Project X-Zone Boss Music: I Believe you from Dead Rising 2.)
Jill: We can get the full story from you and Heihachi later, right now, Let's take out these monsters first
Bruno: All right! Let's get busy!
Sub-Zero: Let's show them the taste of Mortal Kombat!
Heihachi: (The Interior Ministry, the ICPO, the B.S.A.A., the Keyblade Knight, the Lin Kuei, and the Makai realm... A few others, too, I see, Heh heh! This couldn't have worked out better.)
A couple of Zombies appeared from the Pool.
Rikiya: ...!
Chun-Li: Look! From the water!
Morrigan: There's more than one way to create a zombie, I see
The group begin working together to face Lord Raptor and the zombies, during the fight, a bullet killed one of the zombies.
Jill: What was that?
Chris: I don't know, but, whatever it was, it killed one of the zombies
Lord Raptor: Grrr, where are you, Show yourself! Whoever you are!
Then, three heavily armed people appeared from the deck.
His name is Welkin Gunther, his voice was made by Dave Wittenberg.
Her name is Alicia Melchiott, her voice was made by Colleen Shaughnessey.
Her name is Selvaria Bles (VC1), her voice was made by April Stewart.
?: Step away from the heroes, creature
Lord Raptor: Who're you calling a creature? Who are you freaks?
Welkin: I'm Welkin Gunther
Alicia: My name is Alicia Melchiott
Selvaria (VC1): And I'm Selvaria Bles, now, leave this ship and the others alone, we have no wish to defeat you, but, make no mistake, we will if you remain here
Lord Raptor: Heh! well, Welkin, Alicia, Selvaria, you think those fancy weapons can make me leave? you half-wits got another thing coming, because nobody, and I do mean nobody messes with the mighty Lord Raptor!
Alicia: The only thing you don't want to mess with is Nick, who was with us when we've got transported into the X-Zone worlds him, Matthew and Mog told us about
Rikiya: How did they know about the X-Zone worlds?
Nick: Me and Matthew told them all about the Realm of the X-Zone back at Mysterious Tower, which we will explain right after we kick Lord Raptor's butt
Lord Raptor: The only kicking butt here, is you freaks destroyed leaving only Hsien-Ko in my arms! now, down to the ocean with all of you!
Just then, a laser destroyed another zombie.
Lord Raptor: What? another one? Who did this?
?: That would be me
(Cue Project X-Zone Cutscene music: Star Wolf from Star Fox Assault.)
His name is Wolf, his voice was made by the other Wolf in Smash Bros Brawl.
Lord Raptor: Huh? Who the heck are you?
Wolf: I'm Wolf, your worst nightmare, (looks at Nick) you alright Nick?
Nick: Yeah, i'm fine, but, how did you end up here?
Wolf: The same thing as you and some of our comrades here
Rikiya: Comrades?
Chun-Li: Who is he, Nick?
Nick: That, Chun-Li, is Wolf, and the other three are Welkin, Alicia, and Selvaria, they're from Sora's group
Alicia: Yep, we're Nick's new friends
Morrigan: Well, nice to finally meet Nick's new friends
Selvaria (VC1): Now, we'll say it again, Lord Raptor, leave the ship at once
Lord Raptor: or what?
Selvaria (VC1): We'll make you leave by any means necessary
Lord Raptor: Well, okay, i'll leave quietly, as soon as i have Hsien-Ko in my arms, and no one is gonna stop me from doing so, zombies! keep those freaks busy while i get to Frank & Hsien-Ko
just then, an explosive bullet destroyed yet another zombie.
Wolf: You were saying, Lord Raptor?
?: Hey! You get the heck away from them!
(Cue Project X-Zone Cutscene music: Terror is Reality from Dead Rising 2.)
His name is Chuck Greene, his voice was made by Peter Flemming.
Just then, a man wearing a Yellow TIR Jersey Jacket appeared after Wolf.
Trish: Who is he?
Nick: That would be Chuck Greene, the former Terror is Reality Champion
Wolf: The man who got framed during the zombie outbreak in fortune city
Chun-Li: Why? Who framed Chuck Greene?
Alicia: We're not sure, but, we're finding a way to clear his name by finding the clues on who framed him
Selvaria (VC1): We'll tell you guys more, but first, we must clear out every zombie here on this ship, including Lord Raptor
As the heroes are now working together to destroy the other zombies and defeat Lord Raptor.
(End Project X-Zone Boss Music.)
Lord Raptor: Gahhh! Okay, You got me, But this ain't gonna be the end for us! That fool Jedah hasn't even gotten started yet
Morrigan: Jedah? huh? So, you've got Jedah backing you up?
Lord Raptor: Ha ha! Don't ask me why, I don't care about any of his ''salvation'' crud, or the dark creatures he mentioned
Morrigan: Well, it looks like Jedah Dohma is back after all, i hope those two are doing all right
Trish: Knowing them, Morrigan, I'm sure they're doing just fine
After defeating Lord Raptor, the group then started sharing their stories from what happened...
Jill: So, Nick's friends, how did you guys end up at the Bermuda ship?
Wolf: Well, we were at the Mysterious Tower discussing on the current mission Dummont has giving us
Selvaria (VC1): He told us to find the Pedestals in each of the X-Zone worlds and place these Cornerstones of Light on the pedestals so that the X-Zone worlds, Nick's and Matthew's homeworld, and the X-Zone world of espers
Rikiya: So, do you think the pedestal is somewhere in this ship?
Welkin: Not sure, but, we need to be sure if it's here
Bruno: Why?
Wolf: Because, Crimson is planning to take the power of Gavin Whiteheart away from Sora during the final battle
Sub-Zero: What would happen if this Crimson gets ahold of Gavin's power?
Selvaria (VC1): The Realms of Light, and everything in it will be destroyed, including the X-Zone worlds
Morrigan: Oh dear, that's unfortunate
Alicia: It is, but, there is a way to stop Crimson from getting his hands on Gavin's power
Bruno: How?
Wolf: The power of the Sacred Weapons of the Ancient Realms, plus, the only esper that can destroy the core of Crimson
Hsien-Ko: Who?
Selvaria (VC1): The Demon Battleship
Morrigan: The Demon Battleship?
Chuck: Yeah, Jestor and the others told us the full story about the Demon Battleship, it was created from the enemies of their own, so, they need our help on defeating the second breed of the Demon Battleship
Jill: But, it becomes stronger everytime you guys defeat the enemies you came across
Wolf: Yes, but, it doesn't mean that we can still destroy the second Demon Battleship even if it has more weapons
Chun-Li: Right, now that you guys told us all about the Demon Battleship, we'll help you guys out on destroying the second breed of that esper, now then, how about we hear your story, Heihachi Mishima, Why are you on this ship?
Heihachi: It's a long and complicated story to explain
Frank: For an underworld kingpin like you, somehow I doubt this is a pleasure cruise
Heihachi: ...
Chun-Li: What about you Jin? Why are you on this ship?
Jin: I came to look for Ragna and Noel, the strange light must've sent us to separate X-Zone worlds when we were still in our own world
Chun-Li: I see
Morrigan: Wait, I'm sensing some kind of strange power
Jill: A strange power? What are you talking about?
Rikiya: She's right, This fountain, it's faint, but i can feel an evil aura, they say that water can serve as connector portals to other places
Sub-Zero: Indeed, This is similar to where i've been sent to the Mortal Kombat tourney made by Shang Tseung
Morrigan: Yes, that, and the human world is closest in nature to our Makai realm
Chun-Li: So, do you think the ship's crew all got spirited away to some crazy other world?
Trish: I think so, they just sort of disappeared after the other, one by one if my mind is correct
Chris: If so, then, does that mean we're next?
Jill: Ugh, don't even say it, Chris, That's too real of a threat to even begin with
Nick: But still, it might take us to another of the X-Zone esper worlds, I hope you guys are ready for the portal jumping
Wolf: Please, look who you talking to, we're ready for anything
Alicia: I just hope our friends are okay
Selvaria (VC1): Don't worry Alicia, I'm sure they'll be alright once the light takes us somewhere
With that said, the fountain activated and everyone got sucked in, but thanks to the blue beam of light, the first half of the heroes are being send to the next X-Zone esper world while the other half of the heroes are being send to the separate X-Zone worlds.
Chun-Li, Morrigan, Rikiya, Bruno, Hsien-Ko, Frank West, Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Sub-Zero, Heihachi, and Jin Kisaragi has joined the team.
