Chapter 16: Golden Knight's honor
At the Roppongi district, Riku, Tut-suma, Akira, Pai, and Blaze have been searching around for what happened to Ryu, Ken, Jin and Xiaoyu earlier with a help of Riku's Dark Skylander friend, Knight-mare.
Akira: Find anything?
Pai: No, we haven't, It's like they just disappeared out of thin air
Tut-suma: I didn't found nothing
Riku: We haven't found anything either
Knight-mare: What could've happened to them?
Blaze: I don't know, it's very strange
Akira: Well, what about the fountain?
Pai: I checked and double-checked it, it's just a regular fountain
Akira: Hmm, Jin, and Xiaoyu... Ryu and Ken, too, I saw them all get sucked in there with my own eyes
Pai: This flies in the face of all common sense
Tut-suma: Indeed
Akira: There's been a long string of unexplained events here, guess this is another one
Pai: We can't give up, guys, let's look around a little bit more
Blaze: Pai's right, guys, if we look around the city a bit more, we can find some clues on where the 4 x-zone heroes disappear to, Knight-mare, did you found any clues?
Knight-mare: well, as Portal Master Riku's Dark Skylander friend, i did found this
As Knight-mare showed the heroes what looked to be a football with a picture of a panther.
Pai: What is that?
Knight-mare: this one would be the Carolina Panthers Megacore
Blaze: hmm, that could be the clue that will help us find them
Riku: Hold on, someone's coming
Tut-suma: is it the heartless?
Knight-mare: No, it's something else
That's when the main group came from the yellow beam of light and see what's going on...
Kogoro: Here we are, Roppongi, my office is right nearby here
Morrigan: Hmm, Pretty fancy place
Chun-Li: This is where you said there's been some trouble earlier, right?
Kogoro: that's right
Morrigan: Somebody's here, hmm, looks like they're searching for something
Mii: They don't look like your typical parkgoers, either
Wolf: Wait, isn't that?
Sora: Riku!
Alicia: and Master Tut-suma!
Riku: Sora, and the others, there you all are
Bobby: How did you guys end up here?
Tut-suma: The same way as you guys
Selvaria: Still we're glad that you guys are okay
Nick: yep, sure is
But then, zombies appeared from the fountain...
Pai: A-Agh! What now?!
Akira: I doubt they were hiding in the water
Mii: Well, I wouldn't call those guys too normal, either
Kogoro: Yeah, if you called that normal, that'd be about the end of Roppongi, I'd say
Morrigan: Guys, didn't we see those green zombies on the ship earlier?
Alicia: Yeah, you're right, Morrigan, they're the same zombies we destroyed on the Bermuda ship
Wolf: But, the question is, how did they follow us here?
Chun-Li: I don't know, but, there's a fountain here, too, is that just a coincidence?
Nick: I get the essential feeling, it doesn't
Mii: I don't know what's going on, but we'd better help them out
Kogoro: You bet, hey, i think i've seen that kung-fu lady before
Lucca: Let's not forget about the karate man and the police officer
Chun-Li: Pai Chan, right?
Pai: Yes, Oh, are you Chun-Li from Interpol?
Chun-Li: Yeah... How did you know?
Pai: One of my actor friends knows you, you're investigating S.I.N., right?
Chun-Li: Yes, that's right, why?
Akira: We ran into one of their agents earlier, A sharp-eyed female martial artist
Chun-Li: (Juri?!)
Felicia: You're Blaze Fielding, right?
Blaze: That's me, you guys are looking well
Robin: Likewise, Blaze
Morrigan: How about we help them out? They've got s*** and they may be useful to us
Chun-Li: I agree, Some questioning is definitely in order here, Let's go guys!
(Cue Project X-Zone Battle Music: Barud fight from Elsword.)
The group began to battle the zombies, But after about a half of them were defeated, a similar group from last time appeared...
?: Ah! Yes! Here we go! Man, the dimensional distortions around here are crazy
His name is Drei Belanos, his voice was made by Fat Joe.
Mii: It looks like we got the monster boss here, I think i've seen that ring on his back before
Lucca: Yeah, it's the same ring as Eins
Drei: Ah, yes, Eins has told me all about you, lady, (clears throat), I am Drei, Drei Belanos, of the Belanos brothers, And i'm not gonna go down as easily as he did!
Mii: You've already ransacked my home, buddy, what else do you possibly want from us?
Drei: Heh heh heh, Well, a few things
Kogoro: If you have business with us, Drei, I'd strongly prefer if we handled it over at my office
Nick: Somehow, I don't think negotiating is gonna work with this guy
Drei: Your office?
Nick: Told ya
Drei: Look, Kogoro, I have no business with you, you flashy freak, I'm after that girl in the one-strap dress
Mii: Look, Drei, firstly, you do realize that you and your brother Eins aren't exactly my type, secondly, i'm not in my one-strap dress, i'm in my school uniform with a few armor from the golden knight itself
Drei: (looks at Mii and Kogoro's new look), you weren't kidding, those armors that you and Kogoro are wearing, reminded us of a battle between the Golden knights and the Oros forces, this looks bad, the boss will not like this because the X-Zone golden knights were the ones who destroyed the Oros Warlords, oh man, this can't be good
However, someone else wasn't fond of what Drei was doing here...
?: Well, well, well, what do we have goin' on here?
His name is Bahn, his voice was made by Dan green.
Drei: Ehhh? Who the heck're you?
Mii: Wow, who's that? That's quite an outfit he has
Robin: Indeed
Kogoro: Walking around in Roppongi like that, is gonna turn a lot of heads, yeah
Felicia: do we know him from somewhere?
Akira: Are you...Bahn?
Lucca: Bahn is the leader of the Fighting Vipers gang?
Pai: Yeah, no doubt about it, he's one of the Fighting Vipers from Armstone City...
Nick: Fighting Vipers? what's that, some sort of club?
King: Is more like a fighting club
Bahn: Ooh, hey, Akira! Pai's here too, the whole gang is here, huh? Man, it's been ages! Hey, speaking of which, Akira, have you see a guy in a blue student uniform around? He's got a broad forehead and real spiky hair
Akira: No, we haven't, We're looking for some people, too, they just disappeared earlier
Lucina: our upmost apologies, Bahn, but, we haven't seen Batsu
Pai: That kid you're looking for, Bahn, did he vanish on you, too?
Bahn: Yep, I called him over here so we could settle a couple of long-standing scores, but, when he got here, he suddenly just disappeared, Man, I hope that punk didn't get caught up in all of this junk
Mii: I don't think the social centre of tokyo is a good place for a brawl, Bahn
Felicia: she's right, Bahn
Drei: I don't appreciate being ignored, you! come on!
Bahn: Good point, you freak, I heard rumours about you monsters, I think you need a lesson or two, right now! Ladies and gentlemen, you now officially have Genghis Bahn III at your service! I'm still itchin' to beat down that little punk, but I won't say no to a warm-up!
Drei: I'm not your sparring partner, buddy, I'm gonna devour you good!
Bahn: Yeah, right, you think you can take on a Viper? Hope ya like the taste of poison!
?: And how about a side order of butt-whooping with a knuckle sandwich, Drei
?: Groovy!
As the 2 heroes appeared and destroyed one of the Oros minions.
(Cue Project X-Zone cutscene music: Wally battle from Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire.)
Wolf: Who are these guys?
Felicia: It's Ace Bunny and Earthworm Jim!
His name is Ace Bunny from Lunatics Unleashed, his voice was made by James Arnold Taylor.
His name is Earthworm Jim, his voice was by Todd Haberkorn.
Bahn: Ah, lucky timing, guys
Ace Bunny: We sure did, we've heard that Drei and the Oros minions showed up
Earthworm Jim: So, we showed up right on time to give you guys a helping hand
Mii: well, we're glad that you guys are here, we need your help on facing against Drei
Ace Bunny: You got it, let's give Drei the butt-whooping of his life
As the heroes begin the fight against Drei and the Oros minions.
Project X-Zone Boss Battle: Drei Belanos 1st battle, Oros Serpus X4
(Cue Project X-Zone Boss Music: Black Powder from Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep.)
Drei: I'll show you punks what it means to mess with me, Attack them!
Ace Bunny: Get ready, guys, here they come!
Wolf: We're ready for them
Knight-mare: Riku, use the megacore's power, it'll help us on our fight against Drei
Riku: No problem, Carolina Panthers!
In a curscene, Riku uses the power of the Carolina Panthers Megacore to summon forth the mighty giant panther, plus, it also calls forth another of the NFL Rushers just like Scavenger.
His name is Claw, the Carolina Panthers Rusher, his voice was made by Keith David.
Claw: Prepare for the hunt!
As Claw uses the strength of the panther to defeat the 4 Oros Serpus while the heroes managed to defeat Drei with a help of Knight-mare and Free Ranger.
(End of Project X-Zone Boss Music.)
Drei: Owww! Ahh, darn it! if only my knees were in better shape, i might win, but now, i'll have to report this to the boss, mark my words, freaks, you'll pay for this!
And then, Drei left...
Ace Bunny: You better run, tubby!
Bahn: Man, what the heck? That lion dude was pretty tough
King: true, but, Drei is not as tough as he thinks
Mii: What's happened to Roppongi? This is totally going to depress the retail climate
Pai: I don't think that's our most immediate concern
Tut-suma: Can't argue with that, don't we?
Akira: No, We still don't know what happened to Ryu and the other guys
Chun-Li: Ryu?! Was Ken here as well?
Blaze: Yes, they were here with us during the confrontational fight with Juri and Dural, after the fight, a light flashed and they disappeared shortly after
Bahn: I'm startin' to get really worried about that Batsu, too
Lucca: Yeah
Morrigan: First the zombies from out of that fountain, and then the Belanos brothers
Kogoro: We better take a break and go back over everything we know
Wolf: Agreed
The group then gather around the entrance to a certain building...
Kogoro: How about you all come to my office? I'll make some tea for everyone
Akira: You mean here? In this building?
Bahn: Yowza, And here I thought detectives were all, like, poor 'n stuff
Nick: Pretty big for an office, i would say
Chun-Li: Hmm, Maybe I should go private myself, once this is all over
Kogoro: Maybe... assuming you're as talented and handsome as I am
Mii: Huh? I thought you were just squatting in one of my company's empty offices
Kogoro: Shh, quiet, m'lady
Sora: Is he trying to hide something?
Alicia: I don't think Kogoro is hiding something, Sora
Pai: Just mooching off of her, huh?
Earthworm Jim: I don't know
Kogoro: I would prefer if you guys said that she was making an investment in me
Chun-Li: You need to have more pride in yourself than that, Kogoro
Morrigan: Oh, I don't know, some men would kill to have a life like that
Robin: Indeed
Kogoro: Look, guys, can we all just get inside?
Riku: I agree, There's a good chance we might get ambushed again
Tut-suma: Yeah, someone or something might try to ambush us again, *looks up at the sky*, (But, the question is, who?)
Selvaria: Something wrong, Master Tut-suma?
Tut-suma: Hmm? oh, It's nothing
The group then went inside the building to get to Kogoro's office, However, their actions were being overlooked...
?: Hmm... This is looking even worse than I thought
His name is Dokugozu, his voice was made by Norman Reedus.
?: What shall we do, Saya?
His name is Dokumezu, his voice was made by Nolan North.
Her name is Saya, her voice was made by Jennifer Hale.
?: Isn't it obvious, Dokumezu? we must pursue them!
Saya: Oh, Dokugozu, Naughty, naughty, We must be delicate in how we handle things
Dokumezu: What do you mean?
Saya: The ''rifts'' are too unstable, We could get blown anywhere, Those heroes down below... They might be in danger, what do you think, Dokuzamu?
His name is Dokuzamu, my Capcom x Namco Original Character, same features as Dokugozu and Dokumezu, but he's a polar bear, his voice was made by Mark Hamill.
Dokuzamu: Hmm, the heroes might be in danger because of the ''rifts'', but, we should follow them in order to make sure they won't get caught by one of the rifts, while at the same time, try to pursue them to tell us where Reiji and Xiaomu are
Dokugozu: Yah-hah! That's wonderful news, isn't it? It saves us from having to deal with them later!
Saya: Oh, so direct, but you might be right, Let's proceed with our original plan, To the rendezvous
Dokumezu: Right!
Dokugozu: You got it!
Dokuzamu: Agreed, Dokujabu will inform us on the rendezvous when he finishes his assignment with the rest of our forces
His name is Dokujabu, another of my Capcom x Namco Original Characters, he's a humanoid Goat whose voice was made by Troy Baker.
Bahn, Earthworm Jim, Ace Bunny, and Claw has joined the team.
