It's Celeste's birthday and Seth told her he had something special planned. He pulls into the parking lot of Celeste's church. "What are we doing here? she asks.

Seth just smiles. "Let's go inside." He had spoken with Pastor Mac and gotten a key. All of the church staff were out to lunch as he and Celeste enter. His heart begins racing.

As he turns the key in the door, Celeste wonders if this was a surprise party for her. However, Seth did not steer her toward the fellowship hall, but rather the sanctuary. "Seth what are you doing?" she asks, as he leads her toward the alter.

He takes both of her hands and looks deep into her eyes. He takes a deep breath. "Sparky, the day you brought me here completely changed my life." he says.

Celeste thinks back to the image of him flying over Susan's car and cringes. "I know." she whispers. "It changed mine too. I finally realized what you mean to me."

"Yeah." Seth replies. "I want my life to keep changing with you. The reason I brought you here is, because I couldn't think of a better place to tell you that I want to marry you."

Celeste gasps as he reaches into his pocket. He pulls out a ring with a heart-shaped diamond. She chuckles. "It's a heart."

"It's my heart." Seth replies. "And it belongs to you and God." He slides it onto her finger. "So, will you marry me?" he asks with a lump in his throat.

She nods, staring at her hand. "Yes." She smiles up at him and pulls him into a short kiss and tight hug.

The next day, Celeste goes to John's bus. She knocks. "It's open." he calls. She slowly enters. "Hey." John says, surprised to see her.

"Hey." she replies.
"Happy birthday yesterday." he says.

She smiles. "Thanks." She briefly thought back to her birthday last year and what John had done for her. "Listen, I want you to hear this from me before it makes it through the locker room grape vine."

"Hear what?" he asks.

She holds out her left hand. "Seth and I are engaged."

"Wow!" John exclaims.

Celeste begins to ramble, "I know it seems sudden. You and I were going to get married not so long ago…."
"Celeste!" John stops her. "It's fine. I understand. Hell, I'm not even surprised."

"You're not?" Celeste asks.

"No. It's clear how much you and Seth love each other. I'm happy for you. Really." he explains.

"Thank you." she says. "I want you to be happy too."

"I am." he insists. "I uh…I actually did have a date with Nikki Bella last night."

"Wow. That's great." Celeste says. "I hope things goes well for you."

"Thanks." he says.

All spring Celeste managed the Shield through Dean's United States title loss and a feud with Evolution. A week before the Payback PPV the four were informed that it was time to bring the Shield to an end. Celeste knew this day would eventually come. As a fan, she had not been as happy with wrestling in years before the Shield. However, something about the situation was bothering her. The plan was for Seth to turn on Roman and Dean. Celeste's character would be so shocked and angered that she would support them in their revenge against Seth. Again all if this sounded great accept….

"I don't get you joining the Authority." she says as she and Seth share a bite to eat in her hotel room.

"Why not?" Seth asks.

"It just doesn't make sense. You're going to claim to be breaking up the Shield to be your own man." Celeste explains. "How are you gonna do that with twice as many people helping you than you had with us?"

Seth laughs. "So I'll be the biggest weasel around."

"Fine if you don't care about your integrity." Celeste mutters. She cringed as soon as she heard the words come out of her mouth.

Seth drops his fork and stares at her. "You're questioning my integrity?"

She care hear the hurt in his voice. "That's not what I meant." she insists.

He stands and heads toward the door. She goes after him. "Please. I'm sorry! Seth, I didn't mean that. I'm tired, I wasn't thinking."

Seth sighs. "We're both tired. We should call it a night before anymore regretful words are said." He reaches behind her for the doorknob.

She takes his face in her hands and looks into his eyes. "I love you. Please tell me you know that."

Hesitantly, he leans presses a kiss to her lips as he opens the door. "We'll talk later." He exits, burning an image into Celeste's mind she never wants to see again.
