It's the day after I finished the last chapter. A lot of parts of this chapter, I already have pre-written, so this one shouldn't take too long.

Redemption

Two days went by fast, and the main thought on young Griffin's mind during that time, was Nimas. Now, finally released from the hospital, Griffin asked his wife and child to wait for him to return home, as he had to talk to Nimas, himself. He was not officially authorized to return to the Jedi Temple, as Revan wanted to make the fact he survived, something brought up in the counsel meeting. He had to rely on his Force Camouflage technique, taught to him from his Sith Assassin training. Fortunately for him, any Jedi who had knowledge of this technique, and would know how to detect Griffin, either were not currently at the temple, or had already fully accepted that Griffin was dead, and therefore would simply be imagining the Force playing tricks on them, and paid no attention to what they sensed. The infirmary was not empty, it was full of all of the rest Griffin's best friends. He had hoped to see them, one-by-one, but he apparently had no such luck. Still, he knew this group reunion would have to happen under less... violent circumstances than it had happened in before, so Griffin figured sooner was better than later. He used the Force to close, and lock the door behind them.

"Damn." Raymond started. "The power must be about to go out."

"No, it's not." Griffin stated. The three standing Jedi were startled, and looked around for the voice that said that. Griffin then dropped his stealth field. His friends were absolutely shocked to see him. However, they were unalarmed. He wore no armor, nor a helmet. He was wearing a civilian style pull-over hoodie, and jeans. The only thing Jedi, or Sith, about him, was an archaic looking curved hilted lightsaber, on his belt. He pushed back his hood. "This time, it is truly great to see you guys again."

"Is it really you Griffin?" Matilin hesitantly asks. "The real you? Not Darth Terecept?"

"Terecept is still a part of me, but thankfully he's a part I'm slowly progressing toward keeping in the past."

"So, it's completely you?" Caros asked.

"Not completely." He rolled up his left jacket sleeve, revealing his Sith tattoos. "I'll never be able to get rid of these." He then rolled up his right jacket sleeve. "These scars on my right arm, from the surgery to take my metal off my bones, can get better, but can never completely heal. I'm never going to be the completely the same. But in the short amount of time that I've been back, spending time with my family has made me realize, that no matter how far I fell, I would always be Griffin Walker. And guys, I know I still consider you four my brothers. I hope you guys still view me the same way, even after what I did to Nimas."

Caros steps forward, inches from Griffin, and puts his hand up to him. Griffin puts his hand in Caros's, and then they break, and hug. "I forgive you brother," Caros stated. "For everything."

"Thank you."

Matilin walked up, and did the same thing as Caros. "I call you a brother, Griff." He started. "That overrules whatever you've done, as far as I'm concerned."

Raymond walked up, and repeated the process. "You helped save my life." He said. "That alone trumps anything else you've done, to me."

Griffin caught his breath. "Thanks boys. I needed to hear, all of that." He then took a glance, over to Nimas, laying in his cot. He was sleeping. Griffin took a look at the forearm, he cut off. "That a prosthetic replacement?" He asked.

"Yeah, they had one ready for him the day after we got home." Caros confirmed.

"Has he woken up, since you guys have been home?"

"He has. You want us to wake him up, for you?"

He nodded his head. "I need to apologize, for this, hope he can forgive me."

The four Jedi walked up to the end of their friend's cot. Three stood in front of Griffin, to hide him, as they started to wake their Twi'lek friend up. After a couple of moments, Nimas twitched, and slowly opened his eyes. "Nimas," Matilin started. "There's someone here, to see you."

The three then stepped aside, to bring Griffin into Nimas's view. Griffin couldn't help, but let out a hard sigh. "Hey Nimas." He said, as the rest of their friends stepped back a few feet, to watch however this unfolded. Nimas needed to wait for his eyes to adjust. While waiting for him to do so, Griffin grabbed the controller, and raised Nimas's cot up. He then pulled up a chair, and sat next to the cot.

Nimas was now able to acknowledge his friend. "Are you back?" He asked.

"Yes my friend. I am." Griffin grabbed his friend's new arm, and examined it. "How are you adjusting?"

"As best as I can. I won't know how good that is, until I get the chance to use it more."

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry for what I did." Griffin was almost to tears.

"Hey, you didn't do this. Darth Terecept did. That's not who you are anymore. You're Griffin again. You have nothing to apologize for."

Griffin gently pulled his friend up, and into a hug. "Thank you." The other four Jedi walked up to their two friends. Each then did their routine, putting their fists together. "Now that I'm back, it's great to know that no matter what I've done, you guys still have no problem calling me brother. It fills me with pride that even after our three years apart, the five of us are still a team."

"All the way, to the end." Nimas stated.

After a moment, they broke. "I'm technically not supposed to be in the Temple," Griffin started. "Until I'm re-inducted into the Jedi Order. So, I need to sneak out of here, as quietly as I snuck in. I'll see you guys tomorrow."

"Alright. It's good to have you back, Griffin." Caros stated.

"Good to be back." Griffin responded, as he put his stealth field back up. He quickly and quietly made his way out of the Temple, and onto the speeder his brothers had parked outside, and headed for home.

20:24 G.S Time...

The Walker family had finished eating dinner, two hours ago, and it was time for little Jeff to go to bed. It was his first time being put to sleep by his father, which was a bit emotional for Griffin. He came back out to the living room, and sat by his wife, and she told him of what all had happened, what all had changed, in the last three years. About two hours into their conversation, they finally realized how much time had passed, and they both laughed. One thing that had never changed, the two of them could spend hours conversing with each other.

"We should probably call it a night." Cariana said.

"Yeah." They both headed to their room, and prepared themselves for bed. "But maybe not right away." Griffin stated. He then proceeded to kiss his wife, at the edge of their bed. He picked her up, and crashed her onto the bed, bringing his lips back onto hers. She kept her right hand on his face, used her left to rub at his ribs. Griffin put his right hand on Cariana's face, and left on her hip. She suddenly flipped them over, as she pinned his arms down. He could've stopped her from doing so, but he loved this. She then moved both hands back to Griffin's face. Griffin, now with his arms free, reached under her shirt, and caressed her breasts, for a brief moment. And then, the married couple's son got their attention, from outside of their room.

"Mommy," little Jeff said, through the door. The couple broke their kiss.

"Dammit." Griffin whispered, as they both silently laughed.

"I'll take care of this, babe." Cariana said. She kissed Griffin, then got up, and went to see what was wrong with their son. As she did this, Griffin shut his eyes, stayed awake, and waited.

His wife would return five minutes later. He could sense her thoughts: she believed he was out. He waited for her to be standing right next to their bed, then spoke. "That was quick." He then shot up, and grabbed his wife around the waist, and pulled her back, into his stomach, making her laugh out loud. He then put his hand over her mouth. "Shhhhh! You're going to wake Jeff back up."

Cariana giggled. "I love you, Griffin."

"I love you too, Cariana." They pressed their lips back together, for a moment. When they broke apart, Griffin spoke. "It's a good thing Jeff interrupted us, when he did. I've slept so little in the past two weeks."

"You can't make it tonight?"

"No. I really wish I could, but I'm just so fucking tired. It'll have to wait. Maybe I could ask... no, I get reinstated tomorrow."

"A Jedi again, huh?"

"Yeah. Hard to believe how much things can change, in a matter of weeks. Hm... You know what? Tomorrow, I'm gonna tell them that I need a couple of weeks, for my arm's pain to go away. How bout we get someone to watch Jeff for us, for most of that time? Have a little time to ourselves?"

Cariana smiles. "I'd love that."

Griffin smiled back. He leaned in, and told her he loves her, right before he kisses her. She tells him the same, when they break, right before she kisses him. She then scoots off of his stomach, and rests her head on his chest, as they both fall asleep.

One day later...

The scene where Griffin presented himself to the Jedi High Council, was dramatic. Revan called for the meeting, to inform them of the death of Darth Terecept. Master Varian voiced that if only they were able to capture the Sith Lord alive, he could possibly tell them so much of the current status of the Sith Empire. Revan then said, "On a later date, we should ask Griffin." The entire Council was silent for a moment. Bastila opened her mouth, as if she was going to tell Revan off. But everyone in the room, save Revan, and Mical, then let out a loud gasp, when a stealth field was dropped, and Griffin appeared in the center of the room. The young man took a look around the room, at all their faces, stopping at Revan, smiling, and asking how everybody's doing today. It took about an hour to explain the entire situation, but eventually, they had Griffin reinstated into the Order.

Unstealthed, Griffin walked through the halls of the Jedi Temple, back to the speeder he parked up in. Whispers were all around the Temple, as the believed dead Jedi walked casually through the halls. He hoped back onto his speeder bike, and rode off, back to his apartment. He had been granted two weeks off, and was already making plans for someone to watch Jeff, for that time.

As it would turn out, his brothers were more than happy to watch over their nephew, for a couple of weeks. He now had plenty of time with his wife, and he was extremely thankful for that.

Three days later...

Griffin slowly opened his eyes, looking up at his ceiling, and waiting for his senses to fully return to him. After a few seconds, he looks to his right, to his wife, sleeping peacefully, and snuggled up close to him, resting her head on his shoulder. He leans in, and softly kisses her forehead, causing her to twitch, and awaken. "Good morning, sexy." He says.

She rolls her eyes, and smiles. She looks up at him, and leans up to kiss him. Parting, she speaks, "Good morning, baby. How'd you sleep?"

"Perfectly, same as it's been since I've been back."

"Took the words out of my mouth." They both smile, and take a moment to just lay back, and relax.

When the moment is up, they start to kiss again. They continue to do so, for another three minutes, passionately, to the point where they want each other, more, and more. Both were still both nude, from the previous night, and as such, were already ready to go. She turns to face away from him, and lifts her left leg up, to allow him to put his left leg in between her two legs. She grabs his shaft, as he scoots up, and slides into her. She looks to the wall, moaning as she shuts her eyes, tightly. Griffin slowly starts to thrust in and out of her, as he plants his lips on her neck. She takes her left hand, and rubs it on his head, messing with what little hair he had, on his head. He can feel her other hand, squeezing on his left arm, which is wrapped around her torso. As he starts to quicken his pace, Griffin removes his lips from Cariana's neck, and uses his right hand to turn her face to his. Her breathing begins to match his pace. "I love you, baby." She tells him, in between panting breaths.

"I know." He takes a risk, by saying, instead of an 'I love you, too'. The risk pays off, as she smiles, and pulls his head, causing their lips to crash together. Not long after, he brings himself to his fastest, and hardest pace, making her gasp for her breath, and filling their room with the sound of hard skin-on-skin contact. The kiss is broken, and their faces are inches apart from each others, but she still screams. "O SHIT! O YEAH, RIGHT THERE, RIGHT THERE, RIGHT THERE, RIGHT FUCKING THERE! O YES! FUCK ME, BABY!" Griffin absolutely loved her screaming, as it filled him with a sense of pride, in his efforts. Both were loving this, but both also knew that all good things must come to an end. Five minutes after they started, both came to an end.

Griffin groaned as he came to his end.

"FUCK YEAH, GRIFFIN!" Cariana yelled out loud, as she came to hers. Griffin leaned as far forward as he could, and roughly pushed his lips, onto his wife's. They broke apart, about six seconds later, and slowly opened their eyes, still trying to catch their breaths. They both laughed. "Remember when it used to be that wild, at least every night?"

"Yeah, I do. Shame that after these two weeks are up, we won't be able to go at it, like that."

"I know. But we need to find a way, to at least fit one time in, like that, at least once a month."

"I'll see if I can think of something."

They both smiled, kissed, then got dressed for the rest of their day.

Two days before they were to get their son back...

These two had already gone at it, three times today. But tonight, Griffin wanted to do something they had never done before. He wanted to make love, in the shower. He had already taken his, and now it was her turn. He silently opened the door, purposefully waiting for her to start hers. He gave her two minutes, after he heard her turn the shower on, then entered the room, still only wearing a towel wrapped around his waist, and dropped the towel to the floor. The sight of her silhouette, caused him to go hard, very quickly. He set foot into the shower, and made her shiver, as his sex pushed through her legs. "Have we ever done this before?" She asked.

"No. That's why I'm here. It's our last chance to do this, for the first time." He responded.

"Don't you want a rest?" She asked, as he wrapped his arms, around her waist. "We've been going at it, all day."

"All these years, after our first night together, on Corellia, and you still haven't realized that I can never get enough of you?"

"I see. Well lucky you," She paused, faced him, and whispered seductively, into his ear. "I feel exactly the same." She pressed her lips, to his, as he started to move his hands all around her body. She has her right hand on the side of his head, and uses her left hand, to guide the movements of his left arm from his wrist. When both of his hands find her breasts, Griffin rubs at the mounds, causing her to break the kiss, and let out barely audible moans. Ready to move on, after a minute, Griffin bends his knees just a bit, to allow him to push into Cariana. She arches her head back a bit, and turns up the volume of her moan. "F-fuck yeah." She says.

Griffin was capable of continuing to have sex, in this current position, but it was still a bit painful for his knees. Knowing this Cariana bent forward, to a forty-five degree angle, leaning against the shower wall, to make it easy on her husband. Bending forward a little bit, so he could continue to rub his wife's mounds, Griffin picked up his pace. This position was extremely easy for him, and he brought himself to his fastest pace, in a little over a minute. With the water increasing both of their pleasures, neither could keep from voicing it. Griffin was never one for words, so he kept it at moans. Cariana on the other hand, shouted it out loud. "OH FUCK! OH DON'T YOU DARE STOP! FEELS SO FUCKING GOOD!" This brought a smile to Griffin's face. Unfortunately, the shower water seemed to give them less time. They were usually able to go for up to eight minutes. The shower seemed to cut them down to the three they each lasted. Still, both enjoyed every second of it. After they reached climax, Griffin helped his wife finish her shower, and both finished getting ready for bed.

The next night...

Cariana shot awake, on the second-to-final night, of her husbands time off. She may not be able to see it, but she knew that Terecept's armor was there. She desperately wanted to know why her husband hadn't yet destroyed it, or the red lightsabers Terecept carried. Her husband realized she was awake. He sat up, wrapped his arms around her, and kissed her cheek. "Everything alright baby?" He asked.

"No." she started. "Griffin, why haven't you burnt that armor?" She asked her husband.

Griffin chuckled. "Waste of effort." He stated, somewhat coyly.

She elbowed him in the ribs, in response. When he laughed, she got angry. "Don't laugh at this babe! This is serious! I may have only seen you in it, on Alderaan, but it is in the same room as us, when we sleepQ That scares the hell out of me!"

"It does the same for me. It has to."

"Why?"

"Revan taught me, that for redeemed Sith Lords, like he and I, it is far more dangerous to imagine that our past isn't ours, than to acknowledge what we were. If Revan ever gets rid of his helmet, he denies who he once was. If I get rid of that armor, than I deny who I once was. And if either of us forgets who we were, the minute the anger, the Darkness boils to the surface, than who we were, becomes who we are, all over again, in a matter of moments."

"I... I understand. But babe, can we at least move that damn thing, out of this room?"

"Heh. Yeah, I'll see if I can find another place to put it." Griffin turns her face to his, and kisses her.

"Thank you." She says, as she kisses him. "I love you."

"I love you, too. Let's get back to sleep."

The next morning...

Mr. and Mrs. Walker woke up early in the morning, before their son. It was the final day of Griffin's two weeks off. They each had something to say, to each other, before they woke up their son. Cariana told Griffin that he had speak first, because if she went first, Griffin would forget what he had to say.

"That armor," He started. "It's may way of letting everyone know, that I'm not hiding this dark secret. That I will fully admit to the fact that I was once Darth Terecept, that I did some terrible things, to some undeserving people. But in spite of all that, I'm putting it all behind me, and working on what's really important to me. What no one may ever know, is that being a Jedi is not what's really important to me. Being a part of the Order, it's an honor. But what means more to me, protecting you, protecting our son. Because to me, the galaxy is you, and Jeff. You two mean more to me, than anyone else."

"Babe, I found out last night, that you're going to need to add one more person to that list, soon."

Puzzled, Griffin spoke. "What do you mean?" He thought for a moment, then saw Cariana touch her stomach, and the realization quickly hit him. "You're pregnant?!" She smiled, and nodded her head. "Baby, that's fantastic!" He pulled her in, and picked her up off the ground, rocking her back and forth. He kissed her, upon putting her back on the ground. When they broke apart, they held each other close, for three minutes. He whispered in her ear. "I wasn't here, at all last time. That sure as hell won't be the case this time. He kissed her on the cheek. "I love you."

"I love you, too." knowing what he now knew, and hearing the door to his son's room open up, Griffin realized something: He had found redemption.

Griffin is given additional time off, and the next chapter takes place seven months into the future.
