"Ann, let's go home." Alan hugged Ann and then they disappeared.

("Good luck you two,") Serena wished.

After a moment, someone's phone rang. "I wonder who could be calling me," Yukito said as he was smiling. "Hi Toya. What's up?" "Hey Yuk, is everything finished?" "Yeah, how about on your end?" "Done." "Okay, we'll be home soon."

"Is something wrong?" Sakura asked. "Why did my brother call?"

"Nope, nothing's wrong. He was just wondering if we were finished here."

"Tomoyo, did you do what you were supposed to do?" Eriol whispered to her.

She nodded. "Yep! They should all be there by now and I'm guessing by Yukito's conversation with Sakura's brother is that they're all finished too." By "they", Tomoyo was referring to all their school friends.

("What's going on?") Serena noticed that Sakura's friends were being secretive around her.

"Would you all like to come over? Toya said that he's making dessert." ("Today's Sakura's birthday so he had a cake made for her.")

Kero head popped up. "Dessert?! Let's hurry home then! We can't have the dessert...I mean your brother waiting."

Everyone just laughed at Kero because they knew how he was when it came to sweets.

"Why don't some of us go ahead and help Toya with the dessert?" Yukito suggested. "Sakura, you just take your time and come home slowly."

Meilin, Syaoran, and Tomoyo offered to stay with Sakura.

"See you later, Sakura!" Serena waved bye to her friend.

When the others came home first without Sakura, Toya eyed them. "Where's Sakura? Why aren't you all with her? She better be…"

"Lighten up, Toya. We're stalling and we came to see if you needed any help."

"Well as you can see, the decorations are up thanks to her school friends." Then Toya started giving out orders for whatever else needed to be done. He had Amara and the squirts close all the shutters downstairs, Yukito to turn off the lamps downstairs, Serena and the girls to go upstairs and close all the shutters and doors and turn off all the lights so no light showed outside.

"You really care for her, don't you?" Yukito looked at his friend with a smile.

"Shaddup." Toya always told Yukito to shut up whenever he was feeling embarrassed, especially when it came to his sister. "Just hurry up and do what you're supposed to do."

Rika called Tomoyo. "Hey Tomoyo, let us know when you guys get close."

"Sure. We're about 5 minutes away!"

"Who was that?" Sakura asked.

"It was just Yukito wondering how far we were."

Back at the house, Rika warned everyone that Sakura and the others were 5 minutes away so they hid where Sakura wouldn't see them when she came in and someone turned off the living room lights.

Sakura, Meilin, and Tomoyo arrived in front of the Kinomoto residence. "Tomoyo, why is your clothes trailer in front?" "I made some new costumes that I wanted you to try but we'll do that later. For now, just close your eyes." "Why?" "Just amuse me." Tomoyo was smiling as she blindfolded Sakura's eyes. "Now, watch your step!" she said as she, Meilin, and Syaoran led Sakura up the steps and inside.

"Why is it so quiet? Where's Big Brother? What's going on?" Sakura took off the blindfold but saw that it was dark so she turned on the lights. "Big Brother?"

Everyone jumped out of their hiding spots and yelled, "Surprise!"

"This was not my idea." Embarrassed, Toya just looked away.

Sakura hugged Toya tightly. "Thank you, Big Brother, everyone."

"Get offa me, squirt!" Toya pulled his sister from him. "Ugh…"

"Who planned all this?" Sakura asked.

Tomoyo, Syaoran, Meilin, and Yukito grinned. "Us."

Yukito smiled at Toya. "What?" He didn't say anything, he just kept smiling at him. "Oh alright. Fine, I pitched in a little," Toya admitted while rolling his eyes.

"Are you kidding? He was the one who set this up. The rest of us got everything else ready."

Sakura thanked everyone again.

("Hey guys, I have an idea for Sakura's present.") ("This late and last minute?") Rini doubted Darien. ("What is it?") Serena asked. ("We need someone who knows our secret.")

Meilin shot Darien a glance and whispered that she can help if it's something she can.

("Whatever it is, I think it'll be great,") Syaoran thought.

Darien asked Tomoyo, "Is there someplace a little more private we can go?"

"Yup, just follow me." Tomoyo then took them to Sakura's room.

"We should do a Scout Picture. It'll have to be quick though. Everyone downstairs might start to get suspicious and wonder where we all went."

"If it's a picture you want, then I'll take it." Tomoyo was better at taking photos than everyone else there. After all, she was the one who took videos of Sakura capturing the Clow Cards now Sakura Cards.

"Kero, Suppi, Yuki, Li, Meilin, Tomoyo, you should all take it with us too. You're all part of the team."

"Let's do a 'before' and 'after' picture. Tomoyo, do you have our backup fighting clothes in your trailer?" Syaoran asked.

"Mhmm, I'll be right back with the clothes and Yukito!" Tomoyo rushed downstairs to her trailer. She had her bodyguards drop it off in front of Sakura's house in case Sakura needed a costume.

"Can I take a pose? I'll do it anyways."

"Then why do you even bother asking?" Suppi sighed. He was disappointed in Kero but when was he ever not disappointed in him?

Tomoyo came inside with Yukito. "Yukito, could you stand next to Darien please? The tall people should be next to each other and the shorter people in front. Okay, is everyone ready?" She put the timer for 5 seconds so she would have time to get in the picture and then the camera flashed.

After the flash went off, they all transformed or changed.

Tomoyo set the timer for 5 seconds again. FLASH!

"That was a nice thing to think of Darien," Luna said. "When will the pictures be ready?" Artemis asked.

Andrew looked around the room and realized that Tomoyo was gone. "Hey, where did Tomoyo go?"

Tomoyo came back into the room panting. "The pictures are ready with frames."

"Already?" "Wow!" The girls were all shocked and surprised.

"It looks great!" Syaoran told Tomoyo.

"Of course, it does! I'm in it!" Kero boasted with his chest puffed up.

Everyone, but Toya, of course, laughed at Kero's pride.

Michelle stated that they would have to give her the scout picture after the party or else their friends would get suspicious on how the others knew the Sailor Scouts. Amara also added that they had to be careful no one sees these.

Nakuru suggested that they put it in a safe so Tomoyo took the pictures back and dashed out of the room. "Where is she going now?" he asked.

(*For those who didn't read/watch Cardcaptors/Cardcaptor Sakura/Cardcaptor Cherry, Nakuru is originally a guy who liked to cross-dress because he thought he looked better in girls' clothing*)

"I don't know but we should go downstairs before we raise suspicion." Everyone agreed with Yukito and left the room to go back downstairs. By the time they all went downstairs, since there were so many of them, Tomoyo was back.

Sakura was confused to see them all come downstairs together. "Do you know what's going on Big Brother?"

"No idea." It was true. He really had no idea. Yukito had just told him to distract her for a couple of minutes but didn't say why, that he would explain later.

Almost as if on cue, everyone started singing "Happy Birthday" to Sakura.

After the song ended and Sakura blew out the candles after making a wish, Tomoyo suggested that Syaoran cut the cake with Sakura.

Toya just glared his eyes at Syaoran while Sakura just smiled. After all this time, Toya still didn't like Syaoran because he took something precious from him, his little sister.

"What did you wish for?" Hotaru asked. Amara answered Hotaru's question. "She can't tell or it won't come true." "Oh okay, don't tell me then." Everyone except Toya laughed at Hotaru because of how cute she was.

Toya was looking the other way while he handed his sister her birthday present. "Here, Squirt."

Then everyone else handed her their present. One by one she opened them and thanked them all.

Tomoyo handed Sakura a nicely wrapped rectangular present. "This is from me and the others. Open it later, okay?"

Syaoran was being a bit mysterious. "Can I see you for a moment?" He grabbed Sakura's hand and led her outside. "Close your eyes." "Again, with the closing of my eyes? What is with you guys today?" Syaoran wouldn't budge so she reluctantly closed her eyes. "No peeking."

They all got curious so they peeked through the blinds on the windows.

Syaoran kissed Sakura. It was a quick one on the lips but it was still a kiss. "Happy Birthday Sakura. I love you."

"Sya-Syaoran!" She attack-hugged him. "I love you too." And then she blushed from embarrassment.

The two could hear their friends teasing and cheering for them from inside.

"We should go inside before you catch a cold."

"Thank you everyone for one of the best days of my life. I hope everyone had a good time. And again, thank you for coming."

One by one, her school friends started leaving. "Bye Sakura! Happy Birthday! See you at school!"

"Bye everyone!"

"Let's start cleaning."

"I'll be right there," said Yukito. "Let Sakura open our present first." Then he yelled, "Kero, Suppi, you guys can come down now."

Kero and Suppi came flying down. "Hey kid, happy birthday," Kero said as he patted her head. "Happy birthday, Sakura."

She thanked both Kero and Suppi. Then once she unwrapped the present Tomoyo gave her earlier, she realized why they said to open it later.

"Wow, this is amazing! When did you guys think of this?"

Serena looked at Darien lovingly. "Darien was the one who thought of it actually."

"Hey Sakura, I think the other me has something to say to you."

"Yue does?" She was surprised. Yue isn't much of a talker.

Yukito nodded then transformed.

"Happy Birthday, Sakura. If I knew sooner, I would've gotten you something."

"You didn't have to. Saying happy birthday is good enough. Thank you, Yue."

Then they heard a voice coming from the entrance. "Hello? Toya, Sakura?"

("What's my dad doing here?!") "Kero, Suppi, up to my room!" She didn't need to say anything to Yue because he had already transformed back into Yukito.

"What is going on? There are so many people here."

"We're sorry Mr. Kinomoto. We we're just..." Syaoran started to say. "...celebrating..." Meilin interrupted. "...my birthday," Sakura finished. The three of them laughed. "What are you doing here, Dad? Didn't you say you were going on an archaeological dig?"

"I wanted to give you this before I left. I was at school all day giving lectures so I couldn't go with the team. I'm going to meet them out at the camp site."

"Thanks Dad."

Mr. Kinomoto looked around the room and saw how many people were in their living room. "Are all these people going to sleep here?" He looked slightly worried. How were they going to fit everyone in their small house?

Sakura shook her head to reassure her dad. She noticed that he was worried. "No, they're all just here for the birthday party."

"Okay then. I need to go to the camp site so I'll see you when I get back." He kissed Sakura on the top of her head. "Bye Sakura, bye Toya. Have fun everyone."

"Have a safe trip, Dad!"

As Mr. Kinomoto was leaving, three of Sakura's school friends came running into the house.

"Rika, Chiharu, Naoko, what's the matter?" "It's Eriol! He's been kidnapped or taken away by something!"

"No, I'm right here." He looked confused.

"But we saw you!" Rika exclaimed.

"Eriol was with us the whole time," Syaoran pointed out. He showed them Eriol's half drunken tea and cake.

"Did you guys see what took the fake Eriol?" Serena asked.

Chiharu nodded. "Yeah, it was like a shadow, but it looked really scary."

"It walked too! I love my ghosts and all but this was scary! Come on guys, let's go to my house and I can ask my mom to take you guys home." Rika, Naoko and Chiharu left for Naoko's house.

"If Naoko thought it was scary then it must have been frightening," Sakura said to the others. "She's rarely afraid of anything."

("It can't be…") Darien thought.

"Could it be that one of the Shadow Warriors had survived?" Fiory thought out loud.

"It can't be! The Shadow Warriors should have been destroyed when Master Rita turned good.

Then the others noticed that Serena was staring off into space.

"Hey Serena, are you okay?"

Serena then started screaming. "No, get away from me!" She started swatting in front of her but there was nothing but air.

"Show yourself!" Darien ordered.

Shadow Warrior 1 appeared.

"No way!"

Shadow Warrior 1 grabbed Serena and tried to leave the house but Sakura had called for SHIELD just in time.

Shadow Warrior 1 screamed in agony as it let go of Serena and reappeared outside of the house.

As everyone ran outside transforming, Sakura had summoned the four element cards. "EARTHY! WINDY! FIERY! WATERY! Combine into one and destroy the shadow warrior!

"No! I won't let this happen!" It started to attack the element cards as hard as it could.

"Shine Aqua Illusion! Mars Fireball Surrounds! Supreme Thunder Blast! Venus Crescent Beam Smash! Neptune Deep Submerge! Uranus World Shaking! Pluto Deadly Scream! Saturn Psychic Beam!"

The shadow warrior was relentless. It wouldn't give up no matter what it was hit with.

"Shadow Warrior!" The loud voice came from Serena but it wasn't her voice.

"Who called me?!" It looked around everywhere but it didn't see anything

"I did." Serena was speaking but it wasn't her voice.

"Ma-Master Rita?"

"Did I not tell you to stop bothering this girl?"

"But Master Rita...!"

"Enough! You disobeyed my orders."

"I did this for you! Please come back to us! We need you!" the shadow warrior pleaded.

("Us?") Everyone was surprised when it said us. That meant that the other Shadow Warriors had survived.

Serena's subconscious was speaking to Master Rita while Master Rita had control of her body. ("Master Rita, I have a plan. Just go along with whatever he wants to do with me, then you can trick him saying a dark energy ball you create gives it more power but it's going to seal it in.")

("Are you sure? I know that it thinks.")

("Yes, I'm sure.")

("Okay then. I will trust you.") "I will go with you but we go to my old castle."

"What?!" The others all but shouted in shock.

("Don't worry guys. I made a plan with her.")

("Serena, please be careful,") Tuxedo Mask pleaded. He wished he could do something more but he knew that he had to trust Serena, that she knew what she was doing.

("How do you know your plan is going to work?") Mini Moon asked.

("It's desperate. I can tell what it wants. Master Rita will be just like Dark Moon and Dark Love, coming only when there's trouble.")

("Master Rita has no idea what we have in store for her.") It smirked knowing that it was a trap for Master Rita to return to them forever but little did it know that Serena and Master Rita had another plan in mind.

"Shadow Warrior, you said us; how many of you survived?"

"We all worked together to stay alive by taking people's energy."

They had arrived at Master Rita's old castle, which was obviously camouflaged as an old, abandoned building. The shadow warrior had opened the doors for Master Rita. "Here we are. After you, Master Rita." It gestured its hand to inside the castle.

"Shadow Warriors, I summon you!"

The rest of the 9 Shadow Warriors had shown it selves. "Master Rita!" They were ecstatic to see her.

"I am sorry it took so long for me to return. Had I known that you were all still alive, I would have returned sooner."

"Are you back for good, Master Rita?" Shadow Warrior 4 asked.

"Yes. Now that I am in control of this weak human body, her power combined with mine, we can take over the city!"

("Wow Master Rita. You sounded really convincing just now.") ("I hope I did not scare you. I tried to sound as mean as I could to convince them that I am back with them.")

Shadow Warrior 9 spoke up. "Master Rita, but how can we take over the city? After that fight with the Sailor Scouts, we had barely managed to escape with our lives." Shadow Warrior 5 agreed with 9. "That's right. We had used almost all of our energy just to survive and stay cloaked from them."

Master Rita started to make something in between the palms of her hands.

"What are you making, Master Rita?" Shadow Warrior 2 asked.

"This is an energy ball. It is filled with dark energy. You are to put your hand inside of it. Once you do, you will get sucked in but once you do, you will start to regain your energy and become strong again. For it to work, all of you must put your hand in at the same time and believe in me. Even a little bit of doubt will void the power transference."

Shadow Warrior 1 was skeptical of Master Rita's actions. "How do we know you're not trying to deceive us? You could be in league with the Sailor Scouts."

"You dare question me Shadow Warrior?" She might as well have shouted that. Her voice rang through the castle.

The other 9 Shadow Warriors shuddered at her question. They all knew how scary she could get when she was furious about something but that one continued to doubt her.

"Why is it that you doubt me while the others don't?"

"When I first reappeared in front of the scouts to kidnap that human girl you are possessing, you had said 'Did I not tell you to stop bothering this girl?'."

"It was because I was going to take control of this girl's body when they least expected it." She paused for a moment, giving them time to gather their thoughts, hoping that they believed her.

With that answer, all the Shadow Warriors had looked at each other and nodded. They all finally believed in Master Rita so at the same time, they had put their hands

Once they were all in, Master Rita had sealed up the energy ball. Then she destroyed it so none of the Shadow Warriors could return and bother the Sailor Scouts again.

"I hope she's okay." Rini may not act like it most of the time because she and Serena were always fighting over the littlest things, but she really cared for Serena. After all, she was her future mom.

"I bet she's fine." Andrew tried his best to try to reassure Rini. "In fact, I bet she'll be here any minute."

("Hey guys, tell Darien close his eyes. I was to surprise him. He's most likely not going to fall for this again but let's try.")

Fiory grinned. ("This should be fun.") "Hey Darien, close your eyes."

"No way. There is no way she's surprising me again." He turned around but there was no one there.

Serena and Sakura were giggling from above, where he couldn't see or hear them.

("Andrew, can you help Rini get on top of Darien's shoulders?") ("Rini, I want you to cover his eyes once you get on top of his shoulders.")

"Andrew, can you help me get on Darien's shoulders?" "Here you go kiddo." Once she got on top of his shoulders, she covered Darien's eyes.

"Rini, this is no time for games." He sighed as he uncovered her hands and took her off his shoulders.

("Darien, I'm not going to show up until you close your eyes.")

"Serena, where are you?"

("Keep them closed till I say so.")

"Fine..." He wasn't too keen about all the jokes that were being played on him but he listened.

("Sakura, bring me down.") FLOAT brought Serena down and she went behind Darien. "Keep them closed." Serena then hugged Darien's back. "Okay, you can open them now," she giggled.

Everyone else just laughed.

"What's so funny? You guys knew all about this, didn't you?"

"I came and told everyone to stay quiet. The jokes were all my idea."

Darien shook his head but he couldn't help but laugh and everyone else joined in.

"No more jokes, okay?"

Rini and Hotaru just awed in disappointment. "That's no fun..."

Everyone just laughed again.
