It's time I wrap up part one, with this. Believe me when I tell you, none of you will see this ending coming. The first part of this following chapter, is the only part that has anything to do with my personal life. And rather than a single week, the events took place over the past couple of months.

Actions/Consequences

It's been nine months, since the death of Griffin's wife. What has he done? Every three months, Revan mandates that Griffin take a week off. What has he done, since the very first week? He would spend the night with some girl, and sleep with her. This week, he has spent every night, with women. That's Nar Shadda for you. Not only that, they were two prostitutes, three tried and true sluts, a stripper last night, and that same stripper, as well as her friend, tonight. Now, He's in the same bed as the stripper, and her friend, spending the night. And now, he could say it's the Force, trying to talk some sense into him, but Griffin would rather believe that it's actually Cariana appearing before him. Whatever the case, it sure as hell looked like her, to Griffin.

Griffin was actually still asleep, but his Force body stood up, like he had heard something coming. Standing out of bed, he looked back to bed, and saw his physical body lying in between the two women. He then looked to the door, and felt his jaw drop with what he saw. It was Cariana.

"How…" Griffin started. He was interrupted by Cariana, who was speed walking up to him, slapping him across the face. Griffin took the slap, as she pushed his head to the right.

"I'm ashamed to even look at you, Griffin." She said to him, disgust plain as day in her voice. "You're not even the man I loved, anymore. You should be disgusted to call yourself a Jedi, sleeping around with all these whores!" She said the last part, pointing at the stripper, and her friend, laying next to Griffin's body. "You're a father, and this how you act?!"

"I'm also man, with desires." Griffin responded.

"AND WHORES IS HOW YOU FUFIL THEM?!" She slapped him again, pushing his head to the left.

"I don't see any other choice! I can't find anyone who I could ever love as much as I do you."

"That's a lie. Why haven't you asked Saja?"

"It wouldn't feel right." Griffin regretted those words, quickly.

"And these sex-starved sluts are supposed to feel right?!"

"No, not that. That's not what I meant."

"Then what?"

"It wouldn't feel right actively trying to find another woman, unless I had your blessing."

Cariana suddenly melted, slowly turning her angry expression, into her touched expression. Her form walked up to Griffin's, and wrapped her arms around his. "You have it. You've re-earned my respect, and my love." She looked up at him, and kissed him on the lips.

"I really wish I didn't have to look at all. And no one can ever truly mean more to me than you."

"I know."

"I still miss you, baby."

"I still miss you, too. But... we will see each other again, this I know. Now get back into you're body, and out of this slut's house."

"Yes ma'am."

Cariana then faded away. Griffin got back into his body. He then woke up, rubbed both sides of his face from the stinging, stepped out of the stripper's bed, put his clothes back on, and left the house. He made a promise to the woman he loved, and on his own time, he would follow through.

He drove his rented speeder back to the hangar, and boarded his ship. "Statement: Master, I didn't expect you back, until tomorrow morning." CID greeted.

"Yeah, well, change of plans." Griffin started. "Henry on the ship?"

"Answer: Yes Master. He came back intoxicated."

Griffin chuckled. "That's alright. Plot a course for home. I've got a lot of thinking to do."

Four days later...

The Blade's Edge had returned to the hangar of the Jedi Temple, a day prior to this very moment. Much had gone through Griffin Walker's mind. In spite of his deceased wife visiting him in his vision, and forgiving him, hardly anything had changed. He still was disgusted to call himself a Jedi, with his actions. He still felt ashamed of his actions, as a father. And he still could barely stand to look at his reflection in the mirror. After putting his son and daughter both to bed, he realized what his next move had to be: He had to confess. Not only to Revan, but to the Council. So, before he went to bed, Griffin contacted his former Master, and asked to speak to him, first thing tomorrow morning.

Revan and his former apprentice met inside the temple library. They sat across from each other, at one of the tables. "Griffin, if this is about you participating in the war," Revan started. "I still do not believe that you're ready."

"It's not what this is about, Master." Griffin took a hard sigh, and continued. "It's about what I've been doing, in those weeks off you've been giving me."

Revan leaned forward, attentively. "I'm listening."

"The first week, was productive. On Alderaan, I added a new member to my crew."

"Henry Organa, as ironic as that is."

Griffin nods his head. "I also helped out some locals, with issues that they were having with some rogue cutthroats. I made some really great friends in the process. I even developed a close relationship with a local girl."

"Sounds productive to me. Where's the issue?"

"The issue lies in what I would go on to do, over the next weeks I took off. Remember the second one? The week I spent staying on Coruscant? The Saturday of that week, my brothers sent me a Twi'lek masseuse. Not only that, but they specifically told her to seduce me. I didn't even try to resist. In fact, when I caught on to what she was doing, she stumbled, and decided to do her job for her. But, what all I did last week, tops everything."

"Don't hide anything kid, I need to hear it all."

"Understood. Monday and Tuesday were both nights spent with prostitutes. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday I spent with girls who wanted nothing but sex. Saturday and Sunday, I spent with a stripper, and on the next night, the same stripper, and a friend of hers. I look in the mirror now, and the only thing I want to do, is change the man that I see."

Revan nods his head. "That's the right thing to want for yourself. And I respect that you've come to this realization, and are focusing on changing what you've become." Revan then sighs. "But... You've openly confessed all that you've done to me. And most would agree, that you're actions are completely unbecoming of a Jedi. Ethically, I have to bring all of this to the High Council's attention. Griffin, I won't lie to you. It doesn't look good."

Griffin tightly shuts his eyes, breathes in and out, and nods his head. "I understand. Do what you have to. I'll accept whatever punishment is given."

"I know you will. But I sincerely hope it's not to severe. It'll take time to arrange the High Council meeting, as most of the members, my wife included, are all out on the war. I'll summon you when we've made our decision."

That night...

Griffin had no idea what the punishment would be. He wouldn't have been surprised if the Council's judgment was exile, and so he gathered every lightsaber in his possession, from the single blades, to the shoto's, from the staff's to the pike's, and he put them all inside a hovering crate. He would bring it with him tomorrow. But first, he had one crystal that he had to remove.

One thing that Griffin Walker shared in common with Jedi Master Keith Varian, was that they both had a crystal in their lightsaber, that were bonded to them. Griffin took his main green lightsaber, where the crystal was held, and removed it. He doubted anyone would ever object, as the crystal only had any use to Griffin. Once that was settled, Griffin spent a restless night trying to get to sleep, more uncertain of the future, than he had ever been, in his entire life.

Noon of the next day...

At six o'clock, galactic standard time, the High Council gathered, as this would require much debate. Revan laid out all that Griffin had done, how he had abused his former Master's trust, and of his rather disgusting conduct. While all of these things were detractors to Griffin's case, the young man they were talking about was a hero. A point that was often brought up was Griffin's actions during the Battle of Korriban, saving both Revan's and his brother Justin's lives at the end of the battle. Another nod in Griffin's favor was of his brief service in the current war, before his wife's death, and how many lives he saved on Onderon, by so masterfully commanding a Republic fleet, that protected the world from an incoming Sith fleet, that was twice the size of Griffin's own fleet. The point was brought up of Griffin's thorough redemption, from complete darkness. And there was also the point that was brought up, on how great a job Griffin has done of raising both of his children, through everything.

After six hours, they had all finally made their decision, And Revan called Griffin in.

Griffin stood at the entryway to the High Council chamber, placing the crate on the ground for the moment. He looked around the chamber. He saw that about 70% of the Council members were holograms. "Step forward." Revan says. Griffin does just that.

"Do you understand why you've been called here?" Bastila asks.

Griffin nods his head. "Unprofessional conduct."

"Precisely."

"You're a great Jedi, Griffin." Master Varian states.

"But that does not excuse you're actions, over the past nine months." Master Brianna adds.

"I know. And I can't change them. Whatever you've decided is to be my punishment, I accept it."

"That's good to hear." Master Rand starts. "We have one final request. That you understand that we make this decision with extreme difficulty."

"You are an exile," Master Bao-dur starts. "You are no longer one of us."

"Which leads us to you're lightsabers." Master Mira starts. "You must hand them all over."

Griffin presses a button on his belt, which makes the crate hover forward. "They're all in here."

As the crate sets down on the ground, Revan speaks. "On behalf of the High Council, and the rest of the Jedi Order, we wish you the all best. Go in peace, and May the Force be with you." Griffin bows, turns around, and exits.

At the hangar...

There was no secrets that needed to be discussed, like when Master Varian was exiled from the Order. It took Revan a bit of time, but he adjourned the meeting, then rushed to meet his former apprentice at the hangar.

Before he arrived, Griffin was met in the hangar, by his four best friends. "Hey boys." He weekly greeted them.

"Griffin, tell us the rumor's aren't true." Nimas stated.

"Please tell us that you're not really being exiled from the Order." Raymond added.

"I wish I could." Griffin replied. "It's already said and done." All four of them were shocked. "It's for the best.'m not sure I could ever bare to call myself a Jedi again, after these past nine months."

"What are you going to do now?" Matilin asked.

"A lot of options to choose from, and I don't know which to choose. I could try to live a normal life. I could join the Republic. I could find my mother and father, see if they're still alive, and still together. I could do a lot of things, and go anywhere. But for now, all I want to do, is find a place where I can both think, and relax. Apart from that, I'm going to miss the four closest friends I've ever had."

"We're going to miss you too, brother." Said Caros, as the five friends embrace.

"This ain't the end of the road boys. We'll see each other again." Griffin tells them, as he leaves the group, to head to his ship.

"Griffin!" Revan calls out to his former apprentice, before he can board his ship.

Griffin turned to face him, and Revan was a bit surprised that Griffin could still look him in the eye. "Hey Rev." He said casually.

"I just wanted to wish you good luck. Wanted to tell you to take care of yourself out there."

"Thanks. I appreciate it. But it's not like I'm gonna be completely alone. I've got CID. I've got Henry. I'll be okay."

"Listen, in spite of all, you're son isn't gonna think any less of you. So whenever you want to visit him, you visit him. He'll love it. As for you're daughter, well, she's not Force Sensitive. But if you ever need someone to babysit, Bastila and I are always willing."

Griffin smiles, then takes a bow. "Thank you, Revan."

Revan nods. "Is there anything I can do for you?"

Griffin looks down. "I hate to talk like this, but... It's just one of life's certainties. When Bindo passes, can you let me know, and save a spot for me at the funeral."

"I can, and I will."

"Thank you." The two old friends embrace each other, for a moment. "Take care of Jeff for me." Griffin then proceeds to head to his ship.

"Hey!" Revan says. "Griffin, for the record, I'm sorry it had to come to this."

Griffin shakes his head. "I'm not. These past nine months, hell this past year, has really showed me what it means to live and learn. I've made a lot of mistakes, but in the end, while my actions may not have made me a better Jedi, they sure as hell made me a better man."

"I'm glad to hear that, at least. Goodbye Griffin."

Griffin smiles. "Goodbye Revan." He then walks up the ramp, and enters his ship. As he delivers the news to CID, Henry, and his daughter Sandie, he sits on a couch in the main hold, and his daughter snuggles up close to him.

"Daddy," She says, "will we ever see Jeff again?"

"Yes. We will. I promise." He then kisses his daughter's forehead, and from inside the hangar, Revan watches as the Blade's Edge leaves the ground, and flies out of the hangar.

"Safe travels to you, Griffin."

And I am done. I did not ever mean for this story to become as personal as it did, but then tragedy struck. As for part two of this story, that will not begin, until a ways away. I don't know what I'm going to do next. I've got a few other stories in progress, that I could complete, and I do know that somewhere along the line, I'll be doing other Star Wars stories, that will focus on the characters of my brothers, and my best friends, since there has been precious little character development for them, thus far. As to when, I don't know, because there's also a possibility that I'll stray away from , for some time. And here's a promise: Part two will be less focused on my real personal life, and more on my character's personal life. And, it will also feature more of what the title suggests: The New Sith War. Until then, thank you all so much for sticking through me, on this one. I appreciate it. Be safe, and I'll see you soon.
