In progress

A/N: I know I haven't worked on this forever, school and chores got in the way big time. But I've improved, so it might be better than previous chapters. Also, my style is changing, so I might start writing this in third person.

Fluttershy's POV

I didn't really notice how hostile Sombra was towards Discord. Until this morning at breakfast that is.

"Will you please stop gallivanting around?" Sombra asked, watching Discord above him. He grit his teeth, ears folding back as Discord laughed.

"But Sombra, I'm making pancakes. They won't taste good without a little flavor." He replied, tapping his feet.

I smiled, adjusting the bird feeder. Having Discord does help around the house sometimes. I hummed as someone knocked, quickly watering the flowers in the windowsill. Opening the door, I smiled, patting Spike on the head.

"Hey, Fluttershy, Princess Celestia wanted to meet with you and, uh," he paused, looking behind me. "Him."

I nodded, taking the parchment from him, waving goodbye and closing the door. "Sombra, there's a—oh my gosh." I gasped, rushing towards them as Sombra's horn glowed with magic.

I stopped, watching as Discord simply took the hit and laughed.

"Discord, are you okay?" I asked, setting a hoof on his shoulder and glaring at Sombra. "You could've hurt him."

Sombra scoffed, his horn smoking as he replied, "If he'd keep his mouth shut and do things quietly, I wouldn't have to make him."

Discord sat up, a crooked grin on his face as he dragged a claw through my mane. "I'm alright, Fluttershy. Nothing that I can't handle."

I nodded, looking at the parchment. "Anyway, after breakfast, Sombra and I have to meet with Princess Celestia. Just to check-."

"She's not my doctor," Sombra interrupted, walking towards us. "Celestia should have no business with what I do, much less anything about friendship."

I ignored him, sitting down as Discord served breakfast. So much for trying to make them friends.

"Celestia," Sombra growled, forcing himself to bow. I stood to the side, hoping he wouldn't do anything all of us would regret.

"Princess Celestia, Sombra." She corrected, looking down at him from her throne. "How are you faring with Fluttershy?"

He looked at me, red eyes ablaze and turned to look at Princess Celestia. "It's not what I expected. If anything being around her is bearable, her friends will take some getting used to."

She stared at him before nodding. "Alright, then. While you live with Fluttershy, you must also be well acquainted with her friends. No arguments, no complaints, and no threatening. Or else, you will spend an eternity in Tartarus." She ordered, the sun seeming to burn in the room.

He bowed once more, before turning to leave with guards flanking him on all sides. I looked at Princess Celestia as she smiled at me.

"Sombra may be a lot to handle. I'm sorry for shoving him on you." She said with a light smile.

"It's alright. He's not too bad. I just wish he'd open up more, that's all." I replied, glancing out into the hallway.

She smiled, saying, "I'll make sure he does."

I hummed in reply, turning to leave as she settled beside me with a wooden box. It had the crystal heart etched into it. "Put this on him tonight." The princess said, holding out a blue necklace. "It'll allow Luna to help with Sombra's inhibitions."

I stared at it as it glowed, different shades of blue winking at me. I nodded, putting it in my satchel, walking out of the castle with Sombra in tow.
