o0o0o-Bella's Point Of View- o0o0o
When I got out of work at seven, Angela and Kenda were waiting for me, leaning against Angela's truck.
"What?" I asked, when they both grinned, and offered no explanation on their surprise visit.
"Is your dad still working?" Kenda asked, tipping her head towards Angela.
"Yea." I replied. "He's doing the overnight tonight. He said he wouldn't be home until some time tomorrow."
"Interesting." Angela said, smirking.
"Why?"
"Oh nothing serious." Kenda said, tipping her head towards the now open door. "When we were driving past your house, we noticed a semi-large group of overly pissed off people, sitting on your porch." She said, as she climbed into the back. "
"What?" I asked, a little confused.
"Sam and his gang are all at your house." Angela said, as she put the key into the ignition. "Leah was out front pacing. It doesn't look to good though, and we're not letting you go into the lion's den on your own."
"Ha!" I whooped, as I punched the air. "I guess that means she's getting calls."
"Yea, but they're waiting for you, Bella." Angela said, concerned.
I glanced at Angela, and then turned to look at Kenda. "How about we let them wait a little bit longer?" I asked. "Ice cream sound good?"
"Sounds really good, actually." Kenda said, lifting her leg and placing it across the backseat.
"Forks?" Angela asked, as she backed out of her spot, and shifted the truck into gear.
"Yea. Sounds good."
"If we go there, we wont be back for at least an hour." Angela said.
"Exactly. Let's go."
As we were driving past my house, I saw what Angela was concerned about. All of them were there, and Leah glared at me. So… I did what any other sensible person would do in my situation. I locked eyes with her, and as we slowed to a crawl, I blew her a kiss.
Sam walked up behind her quickly and put a hand on her shoulder. Leaning forward, he whispered something into her ear, and she turned and walked back up the steps to sit down.
Who was I to pass up an opportunity?
Rolling my window down quickly, I stuck my head out and laughed. "I didn't know that Sam took on the roll as master. Does he spank you too, Bitch?"
She growled. Growled! Embry, Jake and Paul, blocked her as she began to run back down the steps. Smirking, I rolled my window back up and turned to Angela.
"Come on. Let's go get that ice cream."
Angela threw her head back and laughed, and then stepped on the gas.
We went to Scoops, the ice cream stand in Forks. After we ordered, we walked a trail that went into the woods, just to blow a little bit of time. I sure wasn't in any way, shape or form, ready to go back to that house and deal with all that bullshit that waited for me there.
After walking for about forty-five minutes, and exhausting conversation, we headed back to the truck. It was close to nine when we got back to my house, and I wasn't surprised when I saw that everyone was still sitting, and standing, on my porch.
Climbing out slowly, and walking over to them, I groaned. "Don't any of you have fucking lives?"
Sam took the opportunity to step forward. "We do," he said. "But, unfortunately, you're making them all hell."
"Dear me." I said, grabbing my chest. "You can all go home now."
"No!" Sam said, as he took a step closer. "We need to talk. Now!" He turned and nodded towards his gang, and then turned back to me. "You, Kenda and Angela, please follow us around back."
He turned and started walking towards the side of the house.
Glancing at Angela and Kenda, I shrugged, and continued on the path I started. When I made it to the bottom step, a hand shot out and grabbed my arm
"Where are you going?" Paul said, laughing.
"Into my house. Where the hell does it look like I'm going?" I said, ripping my arm out of his hand.
"Please?" He asked quietly. "Just come out back, so we can clear a few things up."
"Paul," I groaned. "I'm really not in the mood right now."
Before I got a chance to take a step, I was lifted off of the ground and thrown over his shoulder.
"What the fuck are you doing?!" I screamed, as I pounded him on the back with my fists. "Put me down!"
"We need to talk. You're being a bitch. So, I'm taking matters into my own hands." he said, smacking my ass.
"Fine!" I yelled. "Put me down, and I'll walk."
"I kind of like you like this." He said, as he shifted me a little further over his shoulder.
"You really are a prick."
"I'd love to be your prick." He said, as he smacked my ass again.
"Ugh, you're going to pay for that!" I yelled, as I began to kick my legs, to get free.
"Promise?"
"I'm going to knock your ass back a couple of feet, when you least expect it."
"I'm looking forward too it."
"Please, just shut the fuck up and walk a little faster." I said through clenched teeth.
"I'm impressed."
"About what?" I snapped.
"You said please."
When we made it to the back of the house, he unceremoniously dumped me onto the table, and took a few steps back, smirking.
Angela and Kenda were sitting next to me, worried expressions on their faces, as everyone else crowded in around us.
"Are you trying to intimidate us?" I asked.
"Why? Are you scared, Bella?" Leah asked, getting a little too close for comfort.
"Why would I be scared? Actually…" I said, raising my wrist watch to my eyes. "We need to hurry this up. Bones will be on in a few minutes."
"Ugh, whatever." Sam said, waving his hand. "Bella, Kenda, Angela," he started, as he nodded towards each of us. "That little prank that you played, crossed the line. We…"
"No!" I growled.
"Excuse me?" Sam asked, as he took a step back.
"I said, no." I said, glaring at him. "Come on Sam. I know that you've heard that fucking word before." Crossing one leg over the other I continued. "If you haven't, its used to express refusal, denial, disbelief, or disagreement. Now, I know that you've heard one of those."
Shaking my head slightly, I murmured, "Fuck, I thought Paul had an IQ of a hamster, but now I know that I was mistaken." Looking back up, I locked eyes with Sam. "You do."
Turning my head slightly to the left, I told Paul, "You've just been promoted to rat. Congratulations."
"Yippee!" Paul said, laughing. "By this time next week, I might be a rabbit."
"Oh, I highly doubt it." I started. "You…"
"Enough!" Sam said, breaking up, what was sure to be another argument. "What are you saying 'no' about, Bella?"
I waved my hand between Kenda and Angela. "They didn't do anything. It was all me." I said. "If you want to have this stupid discussion, let them leave."
Angela grabbed my upper arm. "Bella, we were just as much a part of this as you were."
Sam studied us for a moment before deciding on what to say. "What needs to be said, needs to be said to all of you."
"Fine." I huffed, and then I glanced back at my watch. "You have exactly twelve minutes. Get to saying what you need to say, so that we can go."
"Why did you do that to Leah?' Sam asked, getting right to the point.
"What?" I asked. "The whole ad thing?"
"You know exactly what we're talking about, Bella." Leah said, jumping in.
I turned my head and glared at her. "I don't have to justify my actions to any of you."
"This is getting us no where." Jared said, as he shifted from one foot to the other.
"Bella…" Paul growled.
"Ugh, fine!" I yelled, as I stood, making a few of them step back. Turning slightly, I pointed at Leah. "You're always acting like you're the queen fucking bee. Like you're better than everyone else. It's like you sit high up on this thrown, and look down on everyone around you." Taking a step closer, I continued, my voice getting higher, as the words spilled from my lips. "It made perfect fucking sense. How does it feel Leah? To have other people out there think that you're beneath them! That they're better than you!"
Taking a step back, I exhaled. "Those men out there," I said, pointing behind me. "Only made you feel, like how you've made everyone else, that you've ever crossed, feel. So deal with it. Bitch."
"You had no fucking right!" She growled, as she took a step closer to me.
"You're probably right." I said, as I pushed my hair out of my face, and smirked. "But, it felt fucking great.
Leah clenched her teeth and raised her hand. "If you ever, ever, fucking cross me again, I'll…"
"You'll what?" I said stepping closer. "Beat the shit out of me? Tell 'oh high and mighty' fucking Sam? What Leah? How in the hell, are you going to stop me?" I finished, getting right into her face.
"Leah!" Sam said, stepping between us, and placing his arm across her stomach. "Step back, and calm down."
Leah was shaking, and turning a very deep red.
"Yea, Leah." I smiled sweetly. "You heard your master. You better listed. You wouldn't want to be punished later."
"Bella, Enough!" Sam said, glancing over his shoulder.
"Who the fuck do you think you are, Sam?" I asked shoving his shoulder. "You may run these fucking morons, but you sure as hell, don't run me."
"Bella. Please. Stop." He asked, quietly.
"No. I don't think I will." I said, as I turned my attention back to Leah. "What the fuck! Someone might want to call 911 or something. I think she's having a seizure. Is that foam coming out of her mouth?" I asked, as I lifted my hand to point at her.
"Bella. Please. Knock it off." Paul said, quietly, as he walked up to stand next to me.
"I can take care of myself. I won't let this" I said, waving my hand up and down in front of me, "intimidate me."
"Leah! Calm down! Bella, back up!" Sam said, as he started shoving Leah further away from me.
"No. I don't think I will."
All of a sudden a few things happened at once. Paul grabbed my arm, and shoved me behind him. Seth and Quil jumped in front of me. Leah started screaming, and shaking violently, and then she burst into a huge, fucking…wolf?
"Holy mother of hell." I whispered as I stumbled back.
"We told you not to provoke her." Paul said.
"Leah, go into the woods and run it off. Jared and Seth, go with her." Sam directed.
The wolf and the two man-boys took off into the woods. Struggling to get my composure back, I directed my attention to the remaining people still in my back yard.
"Well, I guess we have some explaining to do." Sam said, running his hand through his hair.
"Yea." I said, still a little shocked by what the hell just happened.
And then, like a light bulb, it hit me.
"She just brought a whole new meaning to the word bitch."
