Push The Button

He pushed the button for the doors to close, despite hearing the call to 'hold the lift'. He was in a rush, and he really didn't have time for idiots today. Unfortunately, a hand slid between the metal plates before the could shut, and the doors sprang open.

The man who stepped in was glaring at Draco with the most amazing green eyes.

"What, you're in that much of a rush you couldn't wait a few extra seconds?"

"Obviously," Draco sneered. "So if you'll press the button for whatever floor you need, so we can actually move, that would be helpful."

The green eyed man stared at him for a moment, before he grinned. Turning to the panel, he started pressing buttons at random, until the button for each floor was lit up.

"What on earth are you doing?" Draco demanded.

The man grinned. "Teaching you a lesson."

"A lesson about what?"

"Patience."

"I have an interview, and you just made me late!"

The man shrugged, and Draco turned away, seething.

Four floors into the journey, and Draco was tapping his foot.

Six floors, and the man leant against the side of the lift, rolling his eyes.

"This is your fault," Draco snapped.

"You started it."

Not knowing what to say to such a childish reply, Draco stayed mute, checking his watch again.

They both left the lift on the thirteenth floor. Draco looked at the man curiously. Were they interviewing for the same job?

"What's did you say your name was again?" he asked, eyeing the man.

He smirked. "I didn't. Harry Potter, CEO, at your service. I think you're my next appointment."
