Summary: Team NNJS has passed the test to stay at Beacon Academy. Now they just need to make it though their second semester, but with The White Fang on the rise, Roman on the loose, and Naruto needing to train his 'true' semblance it looks to be an interesting year.

What's up everyone Acoustic Ghost here bringing you the next chapter of the Son of the Witch VOLII. Sorry for the Day long delay, but this weekend was my birthday weekend and I took the time to relax. So this chapter may seem a bit rushed, but I did the things I wanted done in this chapter. Now onto t he Review replays!

Chapter 3: Fatal Attractions
Location: Beacon
Place: Team NNJS dorm
time: Shortly after meeting Haven students
Naruto sat in his chair as Sheele and Nagisa reported their finding to him. He bit his thumb as he listened to what they had to say. The smell of blood from that one kid, only three members of the team together instead of all four. aura of danger their 'leader' gave off. It was all a bit unsettling.
"Are you absolutely sure about this?" asked Naruto.
Sheele nodded. "Yes. He smelled of blood. It was recent as well," said Sheele.
"He has to have assassin's training. Not to mention Mercury's interest in Ruby," said Nagisa.
Naruto gritted his teeth hearing this. "We need to keep this information between us for now," said Naruto standing up. "While them smelling like that is problematic I haven't gotten a hit of them from my NS so it maybe nothing,"
"Maybe," said Jack speaking up for the first time. But if that Mercury guy is anything like the people I knew on the streets, then he's trouble for a girl like Ruby,"
"If he becomes a problem, i'm going to break his legs," said Naurto flexing his hand allowing darkness to spark for a single moment
Location: Beacon
Place: Cinder's Faction room
Time: 12:00 the next day
Emerald watched as her 'partner' did his daily workout with a frown on her face. Mercury was an excellent fighter, but it wasn't his skills in unarmed combat where he excelled in. What Emerald and Cinder learned from the assassin's own mouth was that he loved psychological warfare. The way they had killed Tuskon was just the most recent example of what he was capable of. They had walked right into the bookstore and instead of killing him as Emerald wanted mercury overrode her and played Tuskon before killing him. If Emerald was honest with herself, he was the most dangoures man in Beacon currently.
Mercury stopped his push-up's before smirking at Emerld. "See something you like Em?" asked Mercury.
Emerald grit her teeth in anger. "You wish. Just trying to figure out why your interested the little red head?" asked Emerald.
Mercury got to his feet and pushed Emerald down, before straddling her waist and pinning her arms to the bed. Emerald blushed as his knee parted her legs. The fact she was in her 'uniform' and didn't wear anything underneth it was just embressing.
"Simple. She's innocent. Pure in the simplest form of the word... And I want to see that smile on her face. I want to taste her lips... before I break her. Maybe if i'm lucky she'll give me her virginity," said Mercury.
The green haired young woman narrowed her eyes. "As much as I dislike Roman he's a straight shooter. Unlike you... Your fucking scum!" hissed Emerald.
"I leave for five minutes and you two are at each other's throats. What did I tell you about getting along?" asked Cinder closing the door behind her.
Emerald pushed Mercury off of her as he smirked. They both turned to their leader. As she smiled at them.

Place: Glynda's office
time: 1300
Glynda sighed as she was dreading the conversation that was about to come. While she had had prerodic conversations with her former lover, none wree ever longer then 5 minutes. Now she needed to be in his pressense for nearly 2 hours. She would scream if it wasn't so close to the meeting time. A Knock sounded on her door, before it opened to reveal James standing there.
"Sorry for the intrusion," said James as he closed the door behind him.
Glynda narrowed her eyes. "If you were sorry you wouldn't have forced me to chose between My career and son when he was first born," said Glynda.
"I told you that all I wanted was for you and Naruto to live with me and be family," said James.
Glynda narrowed her eyes. "What you wanted was a damn trophy Wife and child to have on your arm at those big business balls and political events! You! wanted tools, not family!"
"That's not true Glynda! I wanted you and Naruto away from the lives of Huntsmen and Huntresses. I wanted you both safe," said James.
"We both know Safe isn't something the world will be as long as she's around," said Glynda.
"I know," said James.
Location: Beacon
Place: Chess Garden
Time: 1400
Ruby sighed as she walked though the massive chess pieces that made up the garden. Honestly it was her favorite place at beacon to rest and unwind. Currently she was thinking of her current relasionship with jaune. Her fellow team leader was a person that she had come to admire and even confide in. She knew that he had a crush on her and vice may have been young, but she knew her way around a heart. She had had a few crushes back in her signal days. She was such a socail invilad that she couldn't admit her feelings outlouad. She knew that it was as hard for him to admit his feelings as it was for her.
Taking a seat by the large knight piece she looked at it and smiled. Looking at the piece reminded her of the formation of team RWBY. Speacking of which she would have to finish help Naruto finish their project that they were working on. That would have to wait until team RWBY finished their mission though.
"What's on your mind cutie?" said a Smooth voice in her ear.
"AWWW" screamed Ruby jumping up.
"Whoa easy there Ruby. It's just me," said Mecury.
"Oh Mercury. What are you doing here?" asked Ruby.
Mecury rubbed the back of his head. "I was actually looking for the Gym to do some workouts, but I got lost. You mind helping me out a bit?" asked Mecury.
Ruby smiled. "No problem," said Ruby.
"Great," said Mercury as he ad Ruby made their way to the gym.
Not far away Jaune had his fist in a wihte kunckled grip. While he may have been shy, and akward, and not so brave, he'd be DAMNED if he allowed a playboy to corrupt Ruby, before he had a chance to speak with her about his feelings. Whatever was between him and Ruby, be it friendship or something more down the line, he didn't want to lose his chance.
Location: Beacon
Place: Training Fields
time: Midnight
Naruto stood before a training droid in a fighting stance. "Lets see just how power my true semblance has," said Naruto as his Aura build up, before he felt the familiar pull from that place beyond him semblance.
Allowing his 'dark' aura to surround his fists. Before he charged at the droid and demolished it in one solid punch. Looking at the dark Aura on his hand he felt it fade into nothing. Naruto frowned at this. With his negative sensing as his primary ability of his semblance and the ability to destroy things in a single attack... who know how powerful his semblance really was and how far it would take him once he mastered it.
For now he would have to get back to training. Activating another Droid he resumed the blitz like training.

Bit of a short chapter, but I did it all in one day. I spent most of the week pulling long hours at work as well as celebrating my birthday. So as much as I would have loved to make this chapter longer that would throw me off my upload schedule. Also next chapter will start painting the Town and will do other things.
