Chapter 5: Prep for the Night out
Location: Beacon
Place: Professor Port's Class
Time: 1559
Naruto sat at his desk looking ahead as Jaune and Ruby talked. From hat Nagisa could gather Jaune was asking Ruby on a date tonight. Good for the blond haired boy. but he was also looking at Mecury who had his eyes on Ruby the entire time. Naruto wasn't sure what it was, but his gut was telling him to keep ruby away from that kid. It also didn't help matters that Jaune and Mecurey seemed to have developed a Rivalry for Ruby's heart. While Naruto was content to allow them to do as they liked, he would step in if things got out of hand.
As soon as the clock hit four the girls were out of the room and on their way to their dorm. Naruto narrowed his eyes before looking to Jack, Nagisa, and Sheele. The other three nodded as they made their way to the door. All week Team RWBY had been acting strange. And that was saying something considering who all the members of the team were.
As the members of Team NNJS walked away from the class they never noticed a pair of amber eyes on them, specifically Naruto.
"Is that him?" asked Emerald as she gathered her books, all the while keeping her eyes on Naruto
"Yes. He's the one SHE wants. The power he wields is beyond human comprehension, beyond a mere semblance," said Cinder.
"All were going off of is a burned animal," said Mercury.
"That burned Animal is the 4th strongest member of the White Fang, even with his primary arm now missing. Naruto is strong and if he was on our side... Nothing could stop us," said Cinder.
Deciding to switch gears Mercury looked at his boss. "What about our Mutual friend and his pack of animals?" asked Mercury.
"We allow them to proceed as planned. We stay out of it unless absolutely necessary. We don't want to tip our hand... At least until the stage is fully prepared for it," said Cinder.

Place: Team RWBY's dorm
Time: 1630
The girls of team RWBY finished dressing in something just a tad different from their normal battle clothes. If anything they looked like they were more prepared to go to the club, then track down a band of terrorists.
Blake finished lacing up her boots. "By Oum I thought that Classes would never end," said the Kitty Cat.
"Let the investigation Begin!" yelled Ruby quite happy to be doing some espionage type stuff.
"I'm glad to see we're taking this so seriously," said Weiss
The blonde brawler winked at Weiss making her roll her eyes. "Hey, we've got a plan! That's... moderately serious Ice Queen,"
"Right! Everyone remember their roles?" Asked Ruby
"You and I will head to the CCT and check the Schnee records for any other dust robberies or inconsistencies. Seeing as I'm in the family, it shouldn't be a problem," said Weiss dreading that her Father would find out what she was up to.
"The White Fang has regular faction meetings to hand out orders and recruit new members. If I can get in, I can hopefully find out what they're planning," said Blake putting her hands behind her back. (1)
"I have an old friend on the shady side of town that typically knows everything going on in Vale. Getting information out of him shouldn't be too hard," said Yang creaking her knuckles.
"Great!" yelled Ruby. "Well meet tonight near Yang's friend's place and go over everything we know,"
"Yeah!" said a smiling Sun Wukong as he hangs upside-down by his tail in their open window. The whole team is taken aback.
They all step back and as one let out a bloody scream! "PERVERT!"
Sun nearly fell from his perch Neptune-who the girls had yet to see nearly fell of the ledge. The door to their room burst open with Naruto, Nagisa, Jack and Sheele standing their. Their eyes zeroed in on Sun and before he could explain himself Nagisa was in front of him, and clapped his hands stunning him. Sheele slipped behind him and wrapped his hands up using her shoulder scarf, while Jack ran to the Window, Grabbed Neptune by his arm and dropped him to the floor with Naruto putting his knee in his face.
"Hi guys," said Neptune.
"What the hell were you two doing on the ledge of my Girlfriend's room?" asked Naruto his anger clear.
"We overheard the girls talking and decided that we should help them," said Sun.
"And you couldn't knock on the door!?" spat Jack in anger.
"To be fair he does stuff like this all the time. I just get dragged along for the ride," said Neptune shrugging his shoulder's
"Naruto let them up please," said Ruby.
Naruto looked at Ruby, before he nodded to his team. They did as told, only for Sun to receive a slap from Ruby and Blake, while Neptune got it from Yang and Weiss. Each of the girls had a blush on this face for what the two boys might have seen. After punishment was deal-ed out Ruby filled in Team NNJS on what they were doing.
Naruto sighed, before he poked ruby in the head. "I wish you had told me what you were up to. We could have helped out," said Naruto.
"While Yang is checking out her Contacts on the shady side of things we have contacts that run deeper into the world of shadows then a simple information broker," said Sheele.
"Sheele and I will move into the darkness and find out something," said Nagisa
"I'll contact my dad. While I detest the military I might as well use what entail I can gather from him," said Naruto crossing his arms
"Then that leaves me. I think i'll go with Red and white," said Jack.
"I'll go with Blake. I can watch her back if things get a bit hairy," said Sun.
"That leaves the blonde haired Goddess without a partner," said Neptune opening his mouth and smiling at Yang.
"Didn't my boyfriend already beat you up once?" asked Yang raising an eyebrow.
Neptune blinked. "Boyfriend?"
"Me," said Naruto with narrowed eyes. "If you go with my girlfriend keep your hands off her," said Naruto.
Neptune nodded as the groups left to do what they needed to do.
Location: Beacon Docks, James Flag Ship
Place: James Personal Quarters
Time:1700
Naruto stood outside the door to his father's private quarters. He knocked on the door, but he didn't get an answer. He opened the door and walked in. His father was not around. Walking over to his desk with his scroll out. Naruto booted up the computer and began to look for information. Investments, E-mails, Council meetings, Missing Atlasion Knights and the new Prototype paladin, Military act...
"Wait what?" thought Naruto as he opened the Missing file.
In route to Vale from Mantle 3 40 foot containers were attacked by members of the White Fang along with two unkown people leading them in the attack. The only known details of the attack are that it was a male and Female Duo. The female used two guns and the male used an Assassination style fighting to attack and kill several people. The only survivor of the attack was Cadet Lt Noel Vermillion of the 4th Specialist Unit of the 2nd Brigade. Noel is currently Hospitalized. Her security is currently being headed by Cadet Captain Jin Kisuragi.
The first container concatenated 60 of the newest Modal of Atlasin Knights, The second of the 40 Foot containers had 60 Knights stored inside in collapsed and deactivated status. However the final container had 2 Paladins. AN Assualut-Gun Paladin and a Blade Paladin. The final container held... Error Due to the sensitive nature of the Final container it will not be included in this report since it requires a level 8 security clearance. See Security Report AG-452- DFF.
Naruto sat back in his father's chair and put a chin on his hand. Obviously the 60 knights were a problem, but nothing a hand full of Huntsmen/Huntresses couldn't handle, The Paladins to were not a problem. Again A skilled team could take them out. The thing NOT mentioned in the report was cause for concern. Whatever it was was not something they wanted getting out.
Making a copy of the report and the mentioned report Naruto pocketed and got up to leave. As he reached for the door it opened. There stood James. He looked at his son in surprise
"Naruto!? I wasn't expecting to see you," said James.
"Yeah. I came here to speak with you father, however I got tired of waiting," said Naruto walking past his father.
James grabbed Naruto's arm. "Naruto I know that you and I haven't always seen eye-to-eye, but know that everything I do is for the woman I love, Glynda, and Yourself," said James.
Naruto balled up his fist. "If that was the case you wouldn't have made me fight FUCKING beowulfs at 7 years old!" yelled Naruto yanking his arm free and leaving his father standing in the hall.

Place: CCT
Time: 1720
The three girls arrived at the CCT with shortly after breaking off from the other two teams that were in the city. Many people were gathered around. With the Vytail Festival and Tournament just weeks away things were in full swing.
"Woooow! I forget how big the Transmit tower looks up close!" said Ruby in awe of the tower, having only seen it a hand full of times in her life.
"That's what he said," said Jack making Ruby and Weiss blush.
"Don't be so crude jack. And Ruby you should see the one in Atlas You should see the one in Atlas!" said Weiss.
"That was the first one, right Weiss?" asked Weiss
"Correct," said Weiss
"it also serves as Central intelligible for the Atlas Army and center of Most of Atlas's Governing body," said Jack
"Atlas developed the Cross Continental Transmit System to allow the four kingdoms to communicate with one another. It was their gift to the world after the Great War 80 years ago," said Weiss quite proud of what her Grand Father and Atlas had done for the world.
"Oooh, look at me! My name's Weiss! I know facts! I'm rich!" mocked Ruby smiing at her friend.
Jack began to laugh. "You got her dead to rights kid!" laughed Jack clutching her sides.
Don't be such brats! Besides, the only reason we're here is because you like the tower so much! We could have just as easily made a call from the library!" said Weiss glaring at Ruby.
"I know, but it's so coool! Ooh, I'm going to take a picture!" said Ruby
She grabs her Scroll from a pocket on her clothes, but in her excitement, the device is launched from her hands, bouncing along the pavement until it lands at a girls feet. The girl in question stood about the same hight as Ruby, green eyes, Curly orange hair, wearing a whitish-gray old-fashioned blouse with short gray feminine overalls, as well as a black and green collar with a matching pair of stockings, on her back was a small thin black backpack that contained her weapons
"Oh! You dropped this," said the Girl.
"Penny?!" yelled A shocked Ruby
" Uuuh...," started Penny as she seemed to recognize Ruby.
"Where have you been? We haven't seen you since that night at the docks!" said Ruby to her friend.
"S-Sorry. I think you're confused," said Penny as she hiccuped, before covering her mouth. "Uh... I've got to go!" said Penny Turning and quickly walking away
"Who was the orange haired chick?" asked jack
"That was Penny! We met her when you guys were away on your mission," said Ruby
"What was that about?" asked Weiss
"I don't know, but I'm going to find out! You go make your call! I'll meet up with you later!" Said Ruby rushing off after Penny
"Wait!" yelled Weiss reaching out to her friend.
"Don t worry Princess. I'll keep an eye on her," said Jack chasing after Ruby.
Jack turned a corner in time to see Ruby and Penny running away from atlas Soldier she charged after them and activated her semblance she gave a hard pull just as they turned a corner and chased the girls into the Street. As they did Ruby fell into the Middle of the street with a Large trucking coming towards her. Jack prepared to obliterate the truck when it was stopped by the Orange haired girl! Jack's eyes widened. Only a few people in the world had that kind of strength and she could count on on had the number of people she knew could do that.
"Whoa, that's one strong bitch," said Jack as she saw the two girls run into the ally.
Jack runs into the ally in time to hear the final parts of the conversation and see that penny's hands had peeled away to reveal metal underneath her skin.
"Because... I'm not a real girl," said Penny
"Damn/ Oh," said Jack and Ruby respectively.

A/N
1: How the HELL did Blake know where the White Fang was meeting? Even if she was Partner/Lover to the Second highest ranking member of the Fang, they would have Changed their meeting locations often and at most by the time Vol 2 Mid-season rolled around she had been at Beacon for about 6 months is we assume that a semester is like a regualr semester anywhere else.
