Saiku's POV
I ended up with 13 seconds flat. good enough to get me into second place. I smiled as they cheered for Rikki until Yuki walked over to me.
"Hey Saiku good job. It's impressive that you defeated me in your first crossfire here in the east."
I smiled brightly at him.
"Thanks Yuki."
His cheeks pinked a bit and he pushed his glasses further up his nose while clearing his throat. I giggled at his actions. His cheeks turned even more red,
"Um I think I hear Kaito calling me so I am going to see what he wants."
With that he sped off towards Kaito. I could only laugh at him until Grizz walked up to me laughing.
"You haven't been here for a day and you already have the guys falling for you."
"I really didn't mean to. It just happened."
"That's understandable Saiku but be careful there are guys out there that can really hurt you."
I rolled my eyes at him,
"Now you sound like my dad. I know what the world is like so I don't really do things to get attention. If I do then it's by mistake."
I smiled brightly at him and his cheeks turned a little pink. Why do I keep doing that?
"Saiku is that you?"
I turned around confused with who knew my name. I turned around and stared into the familiar eyes of my old friend. I felt tears prick the sides of my eyes. I couldn't hold it any longer I broke down to tears and wrapped my arms around the one person I thought I would never see again.
"Samuru."
