Samuru's POV
"Saiku is that you?"
She turned around and I could see tears building up in the corners of her eyes. Tears started to roll down her cheeks and she threw her arms around me crying.
"Samuru."
I felt my cheeks burning a little. I haven't seen Saiku in a long time. She pulled away and wiped her eyes.
"I haven't seen you in so long Samuru. What have you been up to?"
"I've been good."
While we were talking I took a good look at Saiku and realized that she changed a lot. She wasn't the adorable little girl that i left behind eight years ago. Now she is a beautiful young lady. The years have surely treated her well.
Meanwhile in the room that grandpa and Samuru's dad stay in (I have no idea what this room is called)
Samuru's dad's POV
"Sorry I'm late director. I wa- is that Saiku Uzukie?"
"Yes it is. How do you know her?"
"She was Samuru's best friend when they were younger. They always used to play together in the backyard. I remember when they first met."
Harp starts playing and the sceen fades to a new one.
Younger Saiku's POV (She is 4 at the moment)
It was Saturday and I was sitting inside watching the clouds. I saw a van pull into the driveway of the house that was opposite mine. I watched as a man walked out of the van. He opened the back door of the van and a little boy jumped out of the van. He had navy blue hair with a patch of black at the black. He was wearing a purple shirt and white pants. He was holding something like a toy to his chest and he looked like he was crying. The man bent down and put his hands on the boy's shoulders and was talking to him. The boy looked sad but nodded and walked to the back of the truck with the man. I jumped off of the chair and ran to my mom.
"Mommy mommy! We have new neighbors."
She looked confused then smiled at me.
"Do you want to go visit the new neighbors?"
I nodded my head and she chuckled at me. She walked down the stairs with me and we went out the door. We walked across the street to the neighbor's house and the walked up to us with a smile on his face.
"Hello my name is Ms. Uzukie and this is my daughter Saiku."
I waved at the man and he bent down pat my head. He got back up and turned to my mom,
"My name is Mr. Shigami and this is my son Samuru."
I saw that Samuru was hiding behind his dad's leg and looked scared. I smiled at him and he stuck his head back behind his dad's leg.
"Be nice Samuru. Sorry he's a little shy."
I laughed and everyone looked at me funny except Samuru. He looked upset that I was laughing at what it was that his dad said.
"That's not funny!"
I stopped laughing at him to stare at him and his face went from angry to scared again but this time he looked at the ground. I laughed at his actions and he looked at me annoyed before he started laughing. When we finally stopped laughing our parents started to laugh.
"Do you um maybe want to play Saiku?"
I smiled at him, "Sure!"
Harp sounds again and the scene changes back to the present
Mr. Shigami's POV
"That was the first time that I witnessed Samuru having so much fun. He looked so happy for once in his life and it had nothing to do with Crossfire."
Mr. Takakura nodded his head at me.
"Hopefully he won't lose focus since she's going to be around."
"Don't worry sir he won't. I have faith in my son.
Yuki's POV
"So it that really how you two met?"
"Yeah it is." Saiku answered me.
They've known each other for a long time. As much as I like Saiku I can't do that to Samuru. I'm not sure if he likes her or not but if he does I guess I can put my feelings on hold for a while. I just hope that I can hold up until I find out. If he does like her I'll back off but if he doesn't then I'll make a move but until then I'll lay low for a bit.
